EP 101 - THE FACE OFF.

"What the hell has gotten into you Levi?! Avyanna shouted at him furious. "What could you possibly want here?!

This sudden change of behaviour could only be caused by one thing. Eva took the die and rolled.

"Psychic Vision."

Dark forces and Sinister spirits that lived in this strange island lurked around Levi , feeding their evil essences into his soul creating a malignant aura around him. They were confusing him , mixing up thoughts in his head...

Using against him his deepest desires ...

"Don't you understand ..." Using his instant transmission, he was standing very close to her, his lips against her ear as he whispered faintly. "I've found true Power ..." Levi grinned.

She was at a loss for words. "But we're your Friends... I am your friend."

"There are no need for friends when you have people that live by your every word, people that worship the sand you tread on. When you have Power! " He laughed , his voice ridiculing her where she stood and added snidely. "In comparison to that, Friendship doesn't quite measure up."

Those hurtful words struck cords of resentment , causing anger to stem up in her. Trying to mask the Pain in her voice , she scoffed at him. "So all those times... It meant nothing to you?"

"Face it Avyanna. Everyone is expendable... Even you."

Avyanna returned her weapon to its original position. She was going to deal with him the hard way , at least until he regained control of his senses. The others had to wait a little longer till she figured how to deal with Levi. It was her battle to fight

And hers alone.

"Expendable or not..." Avyanna shrugged as she took a fighting stance. " Since you've taken leave of your senses , It will be my pleasure to beat them back Into your head."

Boom!

Conrad looked up sharply in the direction of the deafening noise. It was coming from the heart of the city. Voices could be heard as lights out up in the distance. The natives were awake and that was bad news for the adventurers. They must have found our their 'gods' have gone missing and in the process discover that they aren't actual gods and then it would be back to the sacrificing and eating alive.

"I think that's our cue." He said ready for take off.

"Something's up." Percival muttered out loud. "They were supposed to be back by now."

Isn't that obvious?" Kyra sighed. "But we can't leave without them."

"If we stay , we get sacrificed , burnt to death , eaten alive , If we leave, our friends will be macarooned..."

"You mean marooned?" Su Ling sighed.

"Now is not the time for a vocabulary lesson, Su ling." Obi reverted , waving her aside. "Lives are at stake , Most importantly, Conrad's Life."

The enraged voices were getting closer and closer now as they tore through the trees basing towards them . It would be only a few minutes till they would be captured once more.

Percival began pushing the boat down so that it floated down into the still waters and sat there. Picking up the oars , he handed them to Conrad and Kyra . "It would be better if we go now . If we're dead , we will be of no use to them ." He got in the rear of the vessel and placed his oar in the water. "We'll circle back once they're gone."

"No." Kyra said with resolution. "We are not running."

"Roll for transformation."

"What do you mean No... What in Fuck's sake are you doing?!" Conrad placed his hands over his eyes as Kyra began taking off her clothes, garment by garment until she was completely nude.

Percival was still staring at her with his eyes hanging open.

"What? You've never seen tits before?"

"Ignoring the fact that you have no clothes on ..." Conrad continued. "What do you plan to achieve by being butt naked?"

"I'm going to give them what they want." Kyra replied , her voice gradually distorting to become unrecognizable.

'What? You're going to give them all blow jobs till they surrender? Even you can't fit that many things in your mouth." He asked and then turned around to face Kyra only to see that she had transmogrified into her demon form , with the long horns and sharp teeth. "Oh my Gosh ..." He drew in his breath

The demoness bared her claws as she look at the forest. Any second now, The people would appear and Kyra grinned .

"They wouldn't know what hit them."

"I am going to give you one last chance to leave." Levi said with hostility.

"I'm not going anywhere till you're coming with me." Avyanna answered as she stepped forward prepared for immediate action.

The god smirked. "Then You'd better get ready Avyanna , because I'm not holding back."

"I wasn't expecting you to."

John tossed the die.

"Ethereal Omni-Art - Reality Distortion!"

Avyanna held her ground as the world around them began to warp and distort itself. Levi was utilizing Omni-magic , The highest form of magic there was in any realm. That meant he possessed every form of magic that had ever existed , from the weakest type of magic to the transcendent magic that archmages, supernatural entities and gods had.

With this level of power , She had to play her cards right to walk away from this still breathing.

"Cool Party Trick." Avyanna derided. "But let's get serious."

"Elemental Alchemy : Eldritch Attack!"

Fiery spheres of pure fire magic were created from her hands and hurled towards Levi. The attack wasn't nearly as powerful as it was supposed to be but it was supposed to keep him knocked down for a few minutes.

When the smoke cleared , She saw that he had created a resection shield , rendering himself untouchable from her magic.

"Is that all you've got?" He retorted demeaningly.

Eva weaved her hands behind her neck as she ran her eyes down her magic inventory. Defeating Levi was near impossible and if Avyanna even wanted to stand a chance, she needed to up her game. But the problem was all her attacks used too much HP.

"Just give up." John mocked . "You don't stand a chance."

"Giving up isn't an option with me." Eva replied as she tossed the die.

"Mana manipulation: Multiple Energy Attacks!"

Avyannna focused on drawing her mana essence , and a number of elongated arms stretched out from the glowing aura surrounding her.

Whatever the circumstance, the use of this art enables one to exhibit unique capabilities such as conjuring esoteric elements, magically enhancing one's body or abilities and even accessing mystical materials but They often involve with only their skill, personal power-level, imagination/knowledge, and/or morality to define the borders. Given the flexibility of magic, its users have essentially limitless possibilities for what they can accomplish.

Through the understanding of this power, Avyanna could manifest various supernatural abilities ranging from combat skill to physical enhancement. The arms shot out and reached towards Levi to grab him in their inescapable pull of submission.

Sighting it in time , the god leaped back and narrowly escapes the hold of Avyanna's spell. Reacting back , he sent two quick blasts in her direction and she fell to the ground.

"Give it up Avyanna or the next time I won't miss." Levi said from behind her as she got to her knees splurting out blood.

"Never."

Eva looked at her health sheet. If she didn't put Levi down , she'd be toast in a matter of minutes.

Taking out her Katana , She closed her eyes and channeled aura flow in her body towards her weapon and began to infuse it with her her own energy increasing the Striking Power of the Katana immeasurably.

Pointing her Blazing Weapon at her opponent , she spoke sternly as her expression darkened .

"Ready..." Levi muttered.

"Set."

"Go!"
