Firm Determination

"What are you doing, Fiero?! This wasn't part of our agreement!" snapped Thrower who started to panic.

Thrower's body is completely immobile. He froze and could only move his mouth to speak. Serong, who was there, was furious with Fiero's reckless behavior. He also tries to help Thrower by attacking Fiero.

"Kneel down!" Fiero ordered Serong. Strangely Serong's body reacted immediately and obeyed Fiero's orders.

"Why is this?! Why am I even obeying Fiero?!" Serong asked confused.

"Tch! You bastard, Fiero! How dare you play tricks on these 2 high-level devils in front of you! You will know the consequences later!" shouted Thrower feeling angry when he saw Serong made like that.

Fiero remained relaxed and fearless in the least. He even held his face and held back his laughter.

"You two high-level devils? Don't make me laugh!" Fiero said then burst out laughing because he couldn't take it anymore.

Instantly the expressions on Thrower and Serong's faces changed. The two of them seemed to be dealing with one of the princes who became their master. Serong's face was pale and cold sweat was dripping.

"Who exactly are you, Fiero?" asked Serong with a brackish look.

Prok! a second time Fiero clapped his hands. It was then that the Thrower was able to move all of his limbs again. He immediately approached Serong and calmed him from the fear that hit him. Fiero was walking away leaving the two of them behind.

"Say hello to your Masters! He's been locked himself in his Hell Palace for too long! Oh yes, thanks for helping me find my eldest brother too!" said Fiero then suddenly disappeared into the darkness of the night.

Thrower could only clench his fists in annoyance.

"How could he play us both! Do we have to report this to the Prince? Even though the plan was that we would benefit," said Thrower looking at Serong.

"Thrower, who exactly is that guy?" asked Serong who still couldn't believe that the two of them could easily be toyed with by a human.

The moonlight that had been hiding behind the clouds had disappeared. The rolling black clouds accompanied by lightning strikes finally brought down the water droplets swiftly and in large quantities. Heavy rain fell on the town of Nakasam and its surroundings that night until dawn.

"Oi! Wake up! Wake up, Cos!" snapped a black-haired girl who was none other than Tan Metri.

Tan woke Cos by gently kicking Cos's body. But Cos didn't wake up either.

"Tan! Don't be like that! That's not the way!" cried Sintri who did not accept Tan's treatment.

Sintri crouched down and gently woke Gonocos up. Sintri shook Cos's body many times patiently.

"Cos, wake up! It's already morning. We have to get out of here soon," said Sintri into Cos' ear.

Several A-level wizards who were also sleeping in the room had woken up including Wod and Sio. So when Sintri and Tan Metri woke up, they both took a shower at the Lumiere guild to clean themselves. Cos, who was quite difficult to wake up from his sleep, forced the two girls to act.

Cos slowly opened his eyes and got up from his position. Now he sat down and looked around him.

"Hurry up and take a shower, Cos. After that, we'll leave this guild," said Sintri.

"Huh? Go? Why do we have to go?!" asked Cos who was still not fully awake.

"Go wash your face first at least! Or just take a shower right away!" Tan ordered fiercely.

"Yes, yes" Cos was forced to immediately go to the bathroom.

Sintri and Tan also came out of the A tier mage's room. While waiting for Cos to finish taking a shower, the two of them took part in cleaning up the rest of the mess that happened last night. The gathering room for guild members was cleaned first.

All of the Lumiere guild members flocked to tidy up the damaged guild building. Starting from the messy gathering room, the walls with holes, scattered debris, the door to the Guild Master's room that was open gaping, and also the Guild Master's room which was completely destroyed in half. After the benches in the gathering room had been tidied up again, Sintri and Tan sat down on one of the benches.

"Wow!! Are there new members here?" said a woman who approached Sintri and Tan.

"Who are you?" asked Sin awkwardly.

Another woman came following the other one. He smiled kindly at Sin and Tan. Sin smiled back while Tan was indifferent.

"I'm the receptionist here. Introduce me Dian and this is Rossy," said a woman introducing herself and her friend.

"Oh, I'm Sintri. And this is Tan," Sin reintroduced himself and Tan.

"Nice to meet you! I hope you both have a good time in this guild!" Dian said while shaking the white hair girl's hand just like that.

"We are not members of the Lumiere Tante guild," Tan said matter-of-factly.

Hearing Tan's words, Dian let go of Sintri's hands and felt embarrassed.

"Oh no, did you? I thought you were new recruits. Then what are you two doing here?" she asked.

"The two of us stayed overnight at this guild, Auntie. But today we will leave," explained Sintri plainly.

"Oh yes, we both have worked before, Sweet Boy. We take care of the entry and exit of missions at the existing Lumiere guild. You can see for yourself the bench where the two of us were and the information board and the mission."

Dian and Rossy stepped onto the bench where they usually served. Although some of the guild buildings are still under repair, as long as the gathering room is not completely destroyed, guild activities will continue as usual.

Meanwhile, just as Cos had finished showering and getting dressed again, Cos was stopped by Zel's call. Zel, who was with Freeya that morning, walked together to the gathering room to meet Sin and Cos.

"Uncle Zel! How are you feeling? Have you recovered?" asked Sintri concerned.

"There's something uncle wants to talk to you three about." Zel, Freeya, and Cos sat beside Sintri and Tan.

"About what, Uncle?" asked Cos curiously.

"About you three. Do you three really intend to join the Lumiere guild?" asked Zel testing the determination of the three children.

"Very!" agile Cos without a doubt.

Zel smiled at Cos' answer. He and Freeya turned to look at Sintri and Tan waiting for the answer they both would give.

"Since last night's incident, I came to know that being a wizard adventurer also helps many people. I'm the same as Cos, Uncle."

A smile spread across Sin's face. Now only Tan who has not answered.

"How are you, Tan?" Zel asked curiously.
