Chapter 8

"Let me get you something to eat" she said.

 "No, thanks" Lith said, although he felt slightly thirsty, he didn`t want to disturb his Host. 

 "Yeah, please, I feel like I am about to faint, this place is really so hot i'll bet the entrance of hell is directly below here". Tommy however had no such concept, he was used to speaking what`s in his mind and didn`t take general courtesy serious at all. 

 "Alright, give me less than a minute, I will be back soon". She was slightly surprised as it was common for visitors to reject refreshments so she had just asked out of politeness, but she was the one who asked after all so she couldn`t complain. 

 Lith was struggling to concentrate as the room was smelling heavily of her perfume, it was so much it was almost too much. 

 This was not any random perfume, it was the type that made his hormones active. He took a few breaths to cool himself and remove any stray thoughts from his head. 

 Tommy on the other hand, didn`t feel anything different. To be honest, he never wanted to come and read, he was just here so as to not fail the coming exams. His grades were poor in the previous examination and this made his mom so sad that she almost cried. There were not many things he took serious apart from gaming but his mom was definitely part. So this time, he had decided to try and improve his grades in anyway possible. 

 Anna originally intended to just prepare water and return but that didn`t look polite. She rarely hosted guests, most of which were females, she didn`t usually have male visitors who were not related to her directly, the last male visitors she had were from her immediate family. 

 She was scared as not not look like a bad guest, even though she had asked and Lith said he was okay, his looks really betrayed him as he was looking so tired, so she decided to put some biscuits and fruits in a tray and bring it.

 They were wondering what was taking her so much time when they saw her enter with a tray full of different varieties, the funniest part was that she didn`t eventually bring the water.

 "Now this is what I`m talking about, thanks for the food, let`s dig in" Tommy said. He didn`t even wait for them to reply before he grabbed a fruit. 

 "That was really nice" he said. getting into position to begin devouring the meal in front of him. 

 He really didn`t gain his title as "fatty" for no reason as every mouthful he ate was more than twice that of a normal person. He didn`t even seem to have a least favorite food as he kept devouring anything unlucky to end up on his side of the plate.

 "Alright, gather around, let`s not forget the reason why we are here, what do you think we start with" Lith said. He knew if he left them to their devices, they would erupt in one discussion or another and the evening will end up being unproductive.

 "Oh yeah, I`d say we start we start with what that old man taught, he probably mistook us for professors as that teaching style was definitely not designed for high school students". Annabel said. She really needed a personal tutor for the man`s class as she couldn`t understand anything that was said in the class. It looked more like he was speaking another language. 

 ....

 A young man in his very early twenties sat in a taxi with a young beautiful girl of around twenty years of age. She was dressed like a fairy as she looked so bewitching like she could make flowers boom with her smile.

 If looks could kill, the lady would have died an hundred times over he kept gazing at her with looks which could kill. It would be funny to think that if a gun was pointed at this lady, this young man would be the first to jump in between to take the bullet for her, this was just how complicated relationships between siblings were.

 It is even more intense for those from wealthy family as they are often struggles over resources, inheritance, control over more businesses... It was not an uncommon sight to see siblings plotting against each other, attacking each other businesses, some even go as far as hiring people to ruin their siblings.

 It was very rare to see two siblings close like this, even though they looked like they were arch-enemies, they were actually very close.

 A taxi pulled up in front of an old abandoned building, they paid him they watched him leave, after the car couldn`t be seen anymore, they entered the old building.

 The saying "Don`t judge a book by its cover" seemed to be really true as the inside of the building couldn`t be compared to the outside. It was completely different, it was well furnished and there were paintings and antiques everywhere. 

 "Seriously, why the hell do I have to do this". The young man complained as he walked to the fridge to grab a bottle.

 "Just endure, you know you hold no candle to Bradley currently, right now, comparing you with him is like comparing a dragon and a lizard". She said not so politely.

 Even though the words were harsh, the young man could only keep his head down, if he said anything, he could kiss all his hopes of getting more control over the business goodbye, that`s if he even survives being kicked out. 

 Still, from driving supercars and living in high-end hotels to entering cabs and living in hostels. From going out with friends and going on vacations to attending classes, it looked like someone was stripping him naked.

 However, he dared not argue with the girl as if she stopped supporting him, all he has done will be for nothing and he would loose all he has alongside all he is working for, he wouldn`t be worth more than a local bartender in a small club by that time.
