The beginning

Today was a normal day in the life of Gabriel,

He woke up early, got out of bed, went to his bathroom, took his shower, got dressed, went to his luxurious kitchen, made his lunch, ate his lunch and left his luxurious mansion at 7 o'clock sharp as he normally does.

Arriving at 8 o'clock at his company he gets in the elevator but doesn't choose any floor, he waits for 15 minutes in the elevator until the colors of the elevator led turn red, and a voice is heard throughout the elevator, he is not surprised since this is part of his daily trajectory, the voice says the following.

After hearing this Gabriel feels the elevator going underground, in the elevator Gabriel sees the number of negative floors that first starts with 0 going to -30.

Arriving at the underground floor number -30 he finds something that only he knows.

In a display case with liquid inside, he sees a very futuristic bracelet that is submerged in this liquid.

He approaches the display case and Gabriel remembers how he found the bracelet.

GABRIEL POV

I remember how I found you, I was in that damned expedition, this bracelet was found in an expedition to the tomb of Mansa Musa, an African king of the 14th century, who ruled the Mali Empire from 1312 until his death in 1337.

Considered the richest man in history, we find his tomb in Mali, deep beneath the Hombori Mountains.

We entered his tomb and at first glance marveled at the gold walls, but when I looked to the side, I could see the greed of my companions.

One of them said, "Boy, if the walls of his tomb are made of gold, imagine what we will find in the treasure room.

I looked at him already having a mental note not to walk near him, as we explored the tomb we found a giant amount of traps which I expected, some of my (companions) had died to them because of greed but their bad luck for their greed.

After a while we arrived at a giant golden gate that strangely opened by itself, we entered what we thought was the treasure room and found an immeasurable amount of gold that would make gold depreciate if it was sold, I let my (companions) go ahead but apparently we had the same thought, we took our weapons off because we knew this would happen at some point or another.

I hid behind a pile of gold.

One of my former comrades tried to do the same thing that I did but it didn't work because another of my former comrades shot him in the head leaving a mess of blood and brain fluids.

Another former teammate shot him in the head and bammm a war started but everyone forgot about me.

After a while when I felt that the shooting was over I lifted my head and saw that most of my former companions were dead and those who were not dead were on the verge of dying.

I looked at them and shot them in the head and approached something that caught my eye which was the coffin of King Mansa Musa inside it I saw his corpse and an incredibly futuristic bracelet.

So futuristic that it gives the feeling that I was made by a very futuristic civilization.

I brought my hand close to the bracelet but out of nowhere a Holographic projection appeared and in it showed a black man in a luxurious room.

The man had a serious expression, he began to speak.

Hello to whoever is watching this, take my life as a warning, don't be hasty, it led to my ruin.

I was from a very advanced civilization and in that civilization I came from a very wealthy family, I was labeled as a genius, my theses were complex enough to embarrass most of the scientists in my civilization.

I had one desire, the desire to travel, and I traveled to all the explored regions I could, but it did not satisfy my desire to travel.

I used an immeasurable amount of money to get my masterpiece made which is this bracelet that you see that is transmitting this message, this is actually a Mjumping (Multiverse jumping) device that is for exactly this multiversal jumping.

But I didn't know that this would cause the extinction of my civilization, apparently there are beings who are aware of the Mjumpers.

They treat the Mjumpers as devil incarnations and think that they are the ungrateful ones for leaving their universe.

I can't leave here because the beings who destroyed my civilization are after me.

I know I will die here, because these beings have caused a wound in my soul so that they can track me.

This wound is exhausting me, I could have lived a good 1000 years without aging but because of this wound my time has been drastically reduced.

I apologize to the inhabitants of this world for the pain I will cause.

These creatures are looking for me and there is nothing I can do about it, but at least I can give them this bracelet to give them hope that one day this civilization will prosper and be able to defeat the creatures.

My time is running out but let me explain that I was able to calculate the speed of the creature and by the looks of it it will arrive in 693 years in 2030.

Gabriel was stunned by this discovery, he who only wanted to be a rich man now knew that his life would not be easy.

He put the bracelet in his hand and asked the bracelet about its functions, and as he knew the bracelet would answer him, he didn't know but the bracelet showed them to him and he became interested in a function called soul mjump.

Which was an mjump that leaves no traces and lets the wearer integrate into the new universe very easily the reincarnated, but at the cost of a lot of energy.

Gabriel knew that he should use this function because it was his best chance of survival.

He also saw the storage option, with this function he stored all the king's gold and jewels.

He came out of the tomb and used the storage function to subterraneanize the tomb again.

After that he sold some of the gold, became rich, and made his conglomerate of companies just to fill the bracelet with enough energy that he could complete the soul mjump. And the story continues to the present where he is about to complete his goal.
