Arrival at Bermuda

Another month goes by and now I can see the wonderful beach of Bermuda Island.

It is simply magnificent.

This is the first time I have seen the islands of Bermuda in my two lives.

Crystal clear water, fresh air, clear skies, and a nice sun is what you can find on Bermuda Island.

Its stunning landscape combined with the way the residents' homes are placed add to its beauty.

A place worthy of praise.

As I rambled on in my thoughts I noticed a knock on my door as someone called out to me.

Young Master Adam Master Daniel is calling you to the deck.

I replied that I will be there soon and then I heard the servant's footsteps move away.

I make my poker face and leave my room to make my way to the deck.

On the way I find a well lit hallway with lamps!!!

Wait a minute!!!

LAMPS that doesn't make sense.

It is 1825 and there are already lamps on this ship.

So because of the appearance of this world I unconsciously believed that the history of my old world was the same as the history here.

I recorded it in my memory so that I wouldn't forget that fact.

That could turn out to be my downfall.

Now I have to keep my eyes wide open to all the news.

I thought as I made my way to the deck.

When I reached the deck I found my father watching the view in his shorts.

As I approached he spoke up.

Adam when you arrive in shorts don't talk to your cousins and uncles.

I wanted to ask why but decided it was better not to ask.

As the ship approached Bermuda you could see a large fleet of ships docked on Bermuda Island.

As many as 60 ships.

All giving a feeling that at any moment they would start bombarding the island.

But even this sight could not take away the beauty of bermuda.

It is like pizza with pineapple.

Even having the pineapple didn't take away from the beauty of the pizza.

The ship approached the anchorage, while we were anchoring my father said that we will stay here until there is a storm.

I didn't understand why this was so, but I didn't question it.

We got off the ship and went to a part of the island where there was a complex of houses.

We arrived at the entrance to the complex, when we arrived I noticed a large amount of guards patrolling the area, we approached the entrance and then my father took a badge from his pocket and I showed it to a guard who was wearing a uniform with more details.

I think he is the head of the guards.

He ordered the gates opened and we entered the compound.

Good thing that I was already used to a level of security similar to this.

As we entered the complex I could see houses, but unlike the mansion where I lived they were simpler houses, it was explained to me that each member of the family will occupy the house of their choice and cannot leave until the storm hits.

I was also told by my father that when he hears the storm he must head for the anchorage.

So I went to the second row of houses and settled into one of them.

To know if a family member is in the house you want to occupy, you just have to look to see if there is a carpet at the entrance.

If there is no rug, it is occupied, and if there is a welcome mat, it means that it is not occupied.

Since Father doesn't want me to interact with anyone, then I will just stay indoors like an obedient child pretending to be, training my skills to see more weaknesses than strengths.

So far I've noticed that the vital energy doesn't have a good consistency, it takes mental strength to be able to manipulate the vital energy and so far it doesn't serve well for attack.

In contrast to that it is very good for defense, it can disperse the impact of a sledgehammer, and if well molded like the mesh of a medieval armor it can deflect knives/swords, I also concluded that vital energy after use returns to my vital energy storehouse or vital energy core or to simplify VEC.

This has taken away a headache of having to kill to get life energy every time for attack.

I have also been doing studies to see if VEC grows as I increase my life energy.

I also want to know if I take the life energy of creatures with a different life energy than humans my life energy will have changes or evolve because of it.

It's something to think about when I meet such a creature.

I have to see if it will also cause me to suffer an unwanted physical mutation.

I don't want to ruin my pretty face because of neglect.

Now about the island, even though I am in such a beautiful place, I cannot observe such a beautiful landscape.

This has taken away my sleep and I have decided that I will return to this island sometime just to observe the landscape...
