Changing the substance

In the morning, Aguilar prepared for a fight against the monster that blast air pressure. During the night, the explore his energy. By activating his energy, his body was filled with spark and noticed that he can move a slightly faster, not much but he is confident that he can dodged air blast without damaging his body. He has not test full extent of energy.

The plan to kill monster is simple. He'll dodge incoming attack. That is the plan. This is stupid plan with full of holes like what about other monster or without knowing full extent of the monster. Aguilar's heart was dancing with excitement. He want to kill the monster so bad that he doesn't care about anything. He want to change yesterday pathetic experience with today's victory.

He found a steel pipe in the living room. He doesn't know why there is steel pipe but who care. He picked the steel pipe not too heavy and not too light. " Perfect. " Aguilar swing the pipe a few time and smiled. " With this pipe I can make that bastard bleed. hehe.."

His familiar pocket knife was the same, in the back of his pant. He left his backpack, it'll weight him down and he would want to rest after fighting the monster. With that left he begins to find the monster. Through the street toward the schools, Aguilar, who had found some clues about the monster he meet before. The monster was looking for some food, it behavior was even wilder than yesterday. He blasts everything in sight and eats everything he see, including the brick, and car. " It is growing "

Aguilar can see the change in the monster body. Now the body was twice bigger. He can feel red energy building in the monster body constantly. ' ' How can he maintain that energy flowing? Or my approach were wrong the whole time.'

The monster stop throwing tantrums and paused for a second. ' What is he going to do now.' While hiding, Aguilar feels the pain in his chest. He was thrown 2 feet away from his position. ' What? ' The pain quickly go away because of the energy flowing in him. The impact was lough and the monster definitely hear.

The plan was to sneak attack but it failed on step one. The monster run toward him with towering physique. ' Great. Now I have to face with him. Seriously, what was that. It was like mini version of the wind blast that he tastes. 'He can control that that much over energy. Now I feel like idiot. ' , shaking his head. Aguilar takes a stance. He once fought against a bullie in his school who take a boxing class. Of course, He easily kick his butt. But during the fight with bullie he noticed that he was gifted fighter.

He moved with rhythm and he blocked and kick. He used his gift to fullness. He work at the part-time job, with the money he go to gym build his muscles and take a kickboxing lessons . Daily fight was never new to him. The pain was never new to him. There is no rush decision in his head.

The monster waved his hand to Aguilar's left , he sidestep and punched the stomach with his left and fully coated with energy. The spark was formed, the moment the fist touched.

He pull his hand back and punched again, this time in the thigh in order to immobilize. Another spark was formed and like a drill his hand pierced through. His strength, speed and regeneration speed were higher because the energy was flowing in him.

The red energy bursted, because of the wind he was unable to approach the monster. The monster was angry. ' Understandable. I'll be mad at people who punched through your body.' Aguilar was in a tight position, how could he had to kill the monster without contacting? With each step near the monster, the passed through wind was like a sharp razor.

With a temporary recovery, the monster regenerate the wound in a blink of an eye. It can heal too? May be all energy user can heal but this type of healing is basically cheating. The wound were heal but from the look of it the energy consumption must be high. Earlier wind barrier disappeared.

The energy was building with a flash and within a second, a visible wind sliced his leg. He focused all of his energy on the wound. Although the wind cut his leg deeply , he remained indifferent, placed his eyes on the monster for another possible attack. With excitement he forget about the pain , but chose not to move. The monster again fired the wind but this time he dodged. Bleeding on his leg also stop, and he can moved his leg but not like a fully function leg.

Even with a injured leg, Aguilar can move freely. He used his kickboxing footwork well. He punched again with the energy. But this time there is no spark and his fist doesn't reached the monster. It was stop halfway, there is some sort of wind barrier but this time it is soft. It absorb the impact of the punch.

The moment he realised that his attack failed, he back off. ' This ability to manipulate wind is super annoying and how can he manipulate. ' The wind that monster used were not deadly but it keep Aguilar away.

The monster can not attack him, there is no energy left and take defensive stance. Recovering the used energy, meanwhile on Aguilar side. He has still a lot of energy but the wound on his leg was itching and the stress of throwing around and dodging to inhuman wind was too much.

The punch I make and everything I condense energy there is that white spark. The spark has to be a key to unlock my power. Before he tried to test his newly idea, the monster released a smoke , they immediately demised by the wind. The monster was changing with a visible rate, it abandoned large body and from it large body small creature appears.

The creature was at a size of tiger and the green and red, mix energy was circling through the body. ' What is that? It can evolve?' The creature charged at Aguilar. It raised left paw and smashed his head. It doesn't have claw, otherwise he will be dead.

The creature doesn't give him rest , begins to attack him. It bites his hand. the wind around him, solidified and begins to trap in a invisible wall.

Now he panic, he think all the possible situation to escape but nothing come.

With a hope he channel the energy throughout his body, this time he focus the energy to change. He can heal the wound on his hand by pouring the energy but that will not change nothing in this situation. He visualised the spark.

The white spark capable of pierce into the monster and give him the speed, even regenerate and heal wound.

The energy which he channels, changed , the particles around him vibrates and in his eyes, transform into white lighting.

Both the wound on hand and leg were heal instantly. Everything around him slowdown and he now understand how to change the substance.
