Chapter 1: Pilot

Over a millennium ago the gods & goddesses of the heavens and abyss came to the earth, and they fell in love with the mortals many of them procreated with humans. The children the gods had with humans were called Celestials although as times went on many started calling them demi-gods which the higher powers took personally for very petty reasons. Anyways, after a century passing of harmony between gods and man, the mortals began to become entitled and vain from the attention the deities have shown them. When the gods saw this they left and abandoned the people they once loved and cherished but only after creating a school for their children in order to protect them and help them control the powers they were born with. Of course, the gods couldn't stay away so they started coming back to earth and spent nights with mortals every few centuries, from those nights Celestials were created as time went on the products of the gods and humans nights, powers started to doormat until their godly parent recognized them as their children.

The gods made this so because mortals started trying to use the children against them, in ways that aren't morally right by any normal person's standards. As you can imagine the gods were rightfully pissed off, in order to punish the humans for this offense they bared the children's abilities along with any godly traits they had. Many Celestials' powers stayed doormat as generations passed only to keep them safe in the eyes of their deity parents. Some celestials had their powers unlocked between the ages of 14-19 but when that happened they were sent to a school made for kids like them called Ethereal Academy, or as the humans call it The Academy for Celestials. The school is hidden away from mortal eyes as it is protected by gods and they have and continue to protect the school and all who live within the walls.

It helps that the deities live and teach at the school though it is mostly their own children they teach the first three semesters, they teach what all the children can do with their abilities and how to control them. The main 8 gods are Bhumyra the God of Ice and Snow the eldest of the gods, Kultric the God of Darkness and Shadows the second oldest, after him Airos the Goddess of Fire, Hydra the Goddess of Forge, Kaerius the God of Mermaids and Sirens, Mavisto the God of the Weather, Takuoki God of Time, and Aquatia Goddess of Oceans. These gods have the most kids and are the most powerful of them. They are the ones that have to fear the most about their Celestial kids getting harmed or worse killed because the mortals have yet to shape up and mend from their mistakes.

This story is about their descendants who have yet to be recognized by their godly parents until their 14th and 15th birthdays. One a social reject, one with neglectful successful parents, two socially awkward, one weird kid, one badass, one kid wise beyond their year, and one closeted gay kid. The universe revolves around them for they are key to saving it and everyone who lives in it. They are the chosen ones who have the world on their shoulders,

The mortals have caught this being attention and brought it to earth, now it's up to the Celestials to clean up the mess they made. The gods are not able to help this is not their fight, fate forbids them from getting involved in any other way the only way they could possibly help is to train the children. Even though they have no idea who the threat is or how to train the kids to where they are guaranteed to win, they are helping the children tremendously by teaching them control for this is key in defeating this superpower regime. There will be trials and hardships along the way for these kids they will make friends and lose them, they will face betrayal from those closest to them, and they will come across family problems but all make them stronger and better than before.

Do not worry young grasshopper, they will be alright in the end but you have to worry about what leads up to that is the real heartache. These kids are strong they just don't know it yet, their godly parents will mentor and guide them to their true selves. The gods are there to protect them like should, teach them like a mentor needs to, and nurture them much like a caregiver is there to these kids are the best thing that will ever happen to them and no one can tell them otherwise. For the kids, these gods are better parents than their own, and will forever be grateful to them.

As for the mortals they will pay dearly for everything they had down to the gods who loved them and children who looked to them for comfort, it will not a ride through the park for them. Many of them will lose the little love their children have for them, the gods will get revenge for being taken advantage of, and people and families will die. The mortals will, unfortunately, have to learn the hard way the consequences of their choices and the lives they've destroyed especially those within the catholic church. I'm sure the mortals will regret everything they've done over the years and will try to make up for it but who knows only time will tell.

Until that time comes the school with remain a safe haven for gods and celestials alike away from the people who could and most likely will betray them without a second thought. The gods are extremely vengeful and can hold grudges, these kids are theirs and will protect them no matter what. They will train the celestials to control their abilities and they show these kids what a loving parent should look like. After they are in this mess because they fell in love with humans.
