Chapter 103
Back To Reality
Amelia's POV
My body shook a bit from the bed where I was, and with a tear in my eyes, it fluttered open.
"Finally, you're awake,' Gerald said and quickly rushed to where I lay. His gaze met mine, his face wrinkled in surprise as he observed me.
My eyes rounded the room, and the figure of Gerald stood before me. The jars filled with drugs and the herbs that were hung in different areas made me realize where I was. I could perceive the smell of herbs all over the room.
I felt a pain in my soul– staying with the moon goddess had made me realize that there was a world apart from the one I had known. A place free from turmoil, sorrow, and pain. A place so peaceful.
A place I wanted to dwell my entire life.
But the moon goddess had refused me to stay, so she had me come back for an assignment.
Though I fought against it, I had no choice. She never left me with any.
