THE 100 : A BRAVE WARRIOR

Rebecca had been a normal person. She had a family, friends, a job, and lived her life until she was 37 then suddenly died in a car accident. Although she had never considered the afterlife, she never expected that she would spend it living through television shows and videogames. The person who she knew as her older brother returned to her after she died and revealed that he was a God. Instead of allowing her to reincarnate, he took her soul, and that of another's, and placed them both into the world of The 100 as important characters. Aside from their knowledge of the plotline, he gave them both unique abilities that they will be able to teach to the other... if they can find each other, that is. Rebecca, now Octavia Blake, must learn how to use her new powers while surviving in a world of Grounders, Mountain Men, a looming second Death Wave of radiation, and a crazy cult that is determined to start the Last War. Can she save herself and those she comes to accept as family? Or will her meddling with the timeline make new dangers appear? ********************** Chapters are released at the resets on Wednesdays and Fridays. Also, I'm trying to make the MC as 'human' as possible, so in the beginning, she will make bad decisions, questionable choices, and be scared of coming forward, but she will grow from all of that and become a strong, confidence MC. Please leave me comments or a rating if you like it! None of my friends and family will read this, so I just want some serious feedback! lol

Chapter 12: Quoth The Raven

When I woke up the next day, most of those who were sick had recovered, but we had lost another person to the illness. I offered to try and heal anyone that Clarke was worried about, but she did not think that the remaining cases were life-threatening, so it was better that I kept my powers hidden for now. Bellamy was not about to let me leave camp any time soon, but I was fine with that since seeing Lincoln was out of the picture for now.

I spent the day working on rations with Monty as usual. Although Jasper and he had a falling out of sorts, he was the one who brought Jasper an extra gun which allowed him to make the shot that blew the bridge. It also mended their friendship, so he was in a good mood, not that I was. Still, I did my job during the day then headed back to my tent with a fresh bottle filled with Monty's moonshine. I had settled down and was about to start practicing my Stone Cover spell when someone showed up in my tent.

"Hey... you're looking better," I said.

"At least one of us is then," Raven taunted.

"Go float yourself," I chuckled then held up my bottle and offered, "Want some?"

"Why else do you think I'm here?"

"Why am I nice to you again?"

She smirked and walked in then sat on my bed. "Because you're a glutton for punishment."

I poured her a cup and passed it to her. "Sure, let's go with that. How did you spend your day?"

"Making split rounds for the guns."

"I've been making ration packs of nuts and berries, so if you wanna change, just let me know."

After downing her cup, she replied, "No thanks... it keeps me hidden away from the rest of the camp, so I don't punch anyone."

"I doubt it would change anything if you did. I think half the camp avoids you anyways," I teased while refilling her cup.

"Says Public Enemy Number Two: the Grounder Pounder," she taunted, using the nickname that many people had started calling me since the bridge.

"I really should thank Murphy for demoting me to the second most hated person around. Maybe I should get him a fruit basket or something," I chuckled.

Raven laughed and we spent the rest of the drinking and cracking jokes at the other's expense. Talking about the past was something neither of us was interested in; me, because my past was different than Octavia's, while hers was centered around Finn. We ended up passing out in my bed, which was nice since the nights were getting colder quickly and she was rather warm.

A groan woke me in the morning and then I quickly understood why Raven had groaned as the hangover reared its nasty head. Without thinking, I groaned myself as I pressed my face into her back to block out the light. Of course, a moment later, I did realize what I was doing, and I let go of her waist quickly then sat up.

"Octavia? What are you doing here?" Raven asked groggily.

"We're in my tent, genius," I retorted, rubbing my temples.

"Oh, we are," she replied as she sat up and held her head. "What happened last night?"

"So, you are just going to pretend like you don't remember everything that you did to me last night?" I said with mock exasperation.

She gave me a look of complete shock, momentarily forgetting about her hangover, but I could only keep a straight face for a moment before I started laughing.

"God, I hate you," she said, shoving me.

I grabbed my water bottle and took a big drink before offering it to her. "You'd be lucky to spend the night with me," I taunted as she drank some water.

She smirked and remarked, "Didn't you grow up under the floor?"

"And?" I asked, staring her in the eyes with passion that made her swallow hard. I smirked then climbed out of my bed and stretched. "It's already an hour or so after dawn, so I'm going to head out before I'm stuck working in the smokehouse for the day. Take the water, I'll get more later today."

"Hey, Octavia... Thanks," Raven said softly.

I turned around, ready to tease her, but I saw the seriousness in her expression, and I sighed with a sad smile, "Of course, Raven. You are an amazing, brilliant, and beautiful woman, and Finn is a moron for losing sight of that."

She returned my smile and nodded her head. I slipped out of my tent and headed for the ration station. Unfortunately, it was already full, so I ended up on duty in the smokehouse with Murphy of all people. His face was cut up all over, but the swelling had gone down and most of the bruising had faced away.

"You're looking better, Murphy," I remarked as I walked into the smoke house.

"Thanks," he replied.

It was not a fun job preparing the meat to be smoked, but it was important. We had been working for maybe an hour, but this stupid kid who had a problem with both Murphy and me was just trying to make our day worse.

"Let's get this party smoking," Del said, carrying in a large stack of wood.

"You don't want the fire too big, so maybe try to knock it down with some wet leaves," I said, remembering some of the random trivia that I learned watching Discovery Channel's survival shows.

"You get that from your boyfriend, Grounder Pounder?" he retorted snarkily.

I rolled my eyes, but Murphy defended me, saying, "She's right. A hot fire isn't going to preserve the meat as well."

"You can't take the heat, get out of the smokehouse. You both should be kissing our asses for being allowed back in this camp. Just keep working," he said before walking out of the smokehouse.

Murphy looked ready to punch the guy, but he did not, surprisingly, then asked, "Your brother couldn't get you a better job? I would think anything would be better than working in the Meat Furnace."

"Probably if I talked to him, but someone else would just have to do it," I replied with some annoyance.

I focused on my job, but I was also ignoring the fire behind me which ended up being a big mistake. Before I knew it was happening, the wood that Del had brought in caught on fire and then started spreading. The dripping fat from the meat acted as an accelerant and in moments, the whole smokehouse was ablaze. Bellamy had been nearby and dragged me out of the smokehouse while I was coughing horribly since I had been in the back.

"Are you okay?" Bellamy asked.

I could only cough in reply, but I nodded.

"This is all your fault!" Murphy roared as he charged Del. "We told you it was too much wood!"

"Get the hell away from me," Del shouted, right before Murphy slugged him.

Bellamy looked between me and the fight before he moved to break it up, shouting, "Hey! Hey! Hey, stop! Save it for the Grounders!"

"What are we going to do now?!? That was all of the food!" I shouted.

There was nothing that we could do. The whole smokehouse was just an inferno, so the best that we could do was keep the fire from spreading. Unfortunately, I had only practiced my earth spells because they were the easiest to hide, which meant that there was nothing that I could do to control the flames. Fire was the element that I had the least amount of practice with, aside from Space which I would not attempt consciously until I had a strong grasp on the other elements because it was very dangerous.

After Clarke checked me over, she told me to rest for the rest of the day while the majority of the camp was mobilized for hunting to replenish what we had lost. Although I took the day off, I was not about to sleep. Instead, I spent the day working on my water magic for a change. It was not as easy to use as my earth magic, but after today, I knew that I needed to start applying myself to my training. By the end of the day, I could use a weakened form of Water Whip, but I was limited by the amount of water that I could use. Although I could condense the water in the air, it took a lot of practice before I would be able to do it quickly, so I just used the water in my bottle. It was dark when someone ducked into my tent without knocking, but seeing who it was, I was not surprised.

"You fine?" Raven asked.

"Yeah, I spent the day resting because I didn't want to hear Bellamy nagging me," I replied. "You okay?"

"They don't waste time; I'll give them that. What's it been, a day and a half?" she asked, bitterly.

Instantly, I knew what she meant, and I could only sigh. "He's a moron. What more do you want me to say?"

She didn't reply, but rather walked over to my bed and sat down, kicking off her shoes. She grabbed my bottle of moonshine and took a big drink. I was sitting off to the side of my bed, with my legs crossed since I had been meditating before she arrived.

"You said that I'd be lucky to spend the night with you, right? Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?"

"You're only doing this to spite Finn... and honestly, I don't want to argue against it, but as your friend, I have to remind you of that fact, at least once."

"Good, now if you are done, why don't you prove those bold words?" she asked while pulling off her jacket.

I looked into Raven's eyes, trying to see if there was any doubt in them. We had a unique relationship, and it was one that I did not want to lose, but she was determined. I did not hesitate anymore and stood up, taking off my own jacket. I sat in her lap and kissed her passionately as I held her head with one hand while the other explored her chest. She let out a moan against my lips when my fingers found her nipple and I toyed with it, pinching and twisting it.

Raven pushed my shirt up and I broke our kiss so that I could take off my shirt. She used that moment that I was distracted with my shirt to lean down and take one of my nipples in her mouth. I released my own moan of pleasure as I tossed my shirt aside and then held her head for a few moments, enjoying her tongue, before I pushed her backwards onto my bed.

"You're wearing too much clothing," I said, climbing off of her so that I could strip as well.

She smirked up at me and pulled off her top as she sat up. We both undressed and I slid back into bed next to her. This was not about love, or even tender feelings between us, and I knew that. Raven wanted to move on after Finn and, while I knew it was probably too early for her, I would make up for that later by not letting her push everyone away. We were far more alike than I would have guessed from what I remembered from the show, so I recognized the same character flaws that we shared in common.

I pushed her over so that she was laying on her back and then leaned down. I kissed her neck while I shifted my body on top of hers. My thigh slid between her legs, so that I could feel her core pressed against my skin. My hands quickly moved to her breasts and I started kneading them while my thumbs flicked across her nipples. She moaned while her arms wrapped around my back and one of her hands grabbed my ass. Although I had to suppress my chuckle at her forwardness, I did increase my attack.

One of my hands drifted down her toned, caramel skin until I found her pussy. Raven let out a gasp as my middle finger circled her little bean, but I had only just begun. I kept speeding up and she started grinding her hips against my hand. Her pleasure continued to build until she was on the verge of her first orgasm. I slid my hand slightly lower then plunged two fingers inside of her, making her scream out as her body clamped down on my fingers. Her nails dug into my back as she clung to me, riding out the waves of pleasure. When she calmed down some, I slid off to her side and marveled her beautiful body.

"Is that… all you got?" Raven huffed, her face inches away from mine.

I chuckled and kissed her again, but before I could do anything, she climbed on top of me. She was determined to get her turn as she pushed my hands above my head without breaking our kiss. Slowly, her lips trailed down my neck and then my chest. While she shifted her lower body down further, she sucked on each of my nipples for a moment, tracing her tongue across them a few times before moving on. She continued to kiss down my stomach as she positioned herself even lower.

I moaned and buried my fingers in her hair as she drew her tongue slowly up my wet slit. She kept up her slow pace for a while, but when I started grinding back against her, she finally sped up. Her tongue circled my clit while she pulled one of her arms under her. The next thing that I knew, two of her fingers slid inside of me, and I had to cover my mouth with my empty hand to stop me from crying out as a powerful orgasm washed over me.

Raven sat up with a smirk and looked down at me. I was breathing hard, but I was far from done. I sat up and my fingers over her collarbone as I looked into her eyes.

"I hope you are all warmed up now," I teased before I kissed her again…
