The Forth Commandment

Unknown Island off the cost of Alaska

___________

The winds were harsh. Off in the distance was a giant building. Of surrounded with guards, tanks, soldiers and spot lights.

Kina watched as the helicopter she was in approached it.

As they got closer she could feel this sensation of fear. Heavy Boulder on her chest for she didn't want to be here. But this man, this being she was about to talk to was important. They needed him. Not only to join the 10 Commandments but to save the universe.

Adrian. This facility was heavy guarded. No outside had a chance of getting into this place. Even if they did, they'd have to face Adrian. A fucking demon from Hell.

The helicopter lands. Kina slides her hands into her hood pocket.

Her hood was black; she had on long, loose pants that kept her legs warm and her sword stayed in the strap that wrapped around her body.

As she attempts to step out of the helicopter, the sound of the pillars spinning nearly cut out all sound around her, forcing her to read people's lips as they spoke to her.

Behind Kyle, large doors began opening upward giving the entrance to the facility.

This man's powers so great he needed an entire island to himself away from society. The sound came back ever so slowly. Kina could hear people talking. In front of her were three guards, behind her were four Apollo soldiers, and next to her was Kyle who seemed a bit nervous.

"Scared?" Kina looks at Kyle with a straight face. Her eyes focused on the side of his face.

The floor was going down like an elevator with no walls.

They were going underground and Kina didn't know how much longer she'd be on this thing.

"He's dangerous..." Kyle looks at Kina.

"I know."

"So why are you not armed and ready?"

Kina didn't say anything but gather her thoughts before speaking.

"A wise man once told me to understand someone else's feelings, you have to feel what they feel. You said he makes you see things that aren't there. Makes you go insane. In the papers it never said he doesn't get hurt by his own power. I know a lot about Adrian. Studied under his cousin Mente for a while. I know how to make him come to the bright side," Kina speaks.

"Don't die..." Kyle says.

The floor stopped moving. In front of them were double doors. Sliding open ever so slowly, Kina walks forward a little.

As the door opens she could see they were now on a catwalk.

In the middle of this giant circular room was a glass confinement box. No one was inside. But then again, Adrian makes you see things that aren't really there.

"Where is he?"

"He's hiding..." Kyle says.

Kina stepped up to the railing of the catwalk. Looking down at the box she could see no one. No one in there. Yet there was about 300 soldiers walking around it. 200 hundred walking on the catwalk, and snipers sitting on the roof ready to fire at any moment.

This guy must be the real deal.

"Take me to him..." Kina demanded.

Kyle could be seen with an uncomfortable look on his face.

His eyes sparkled in the light above them and mouth with a small frown. He didn't feel right. Kina turn as and looks him in the face.

Kyle nodded and waved two fingers. almost instantly guards motioned for Kina to follow them. She did. As she walks down the stairs of the catwalk she kept her eyes on the confinement cell. The guards move out of the way as she walks past them.

Kina put her hair behind her ears before removing her katana from the sheath.

Five guards walk up to the entrance of the cell. Their hands on the doorknob of it in which it needed five guards to turn the handle around.

"READYYYY!" A soldier yells. At that moment all 500 soldiers in the room aimed at the cell door. The snipers aimed down at the cell door as Kina stood about 10 feet from it.

"OPEN!" The same soldier yells.

The door opened giving off a scary vibe of air.

Nothing happened. The room was quiet.

As Kina was about to take the first step, Kyle put his hand on her shoulder. Kina stopped and looked to her side to see Kyle standing there.

"You do realize once you enter that cell you are no longer under our protection?" He asked. Kina just stared at him. Without a single word, she put her sword in both of her hands before getting into her Resting Stance.

Walking into the cell she focused on her surroundings.

The sound of the cell door closing behind her canceled out all noise. She could hear the sound of her own heartbeat as she looks around.

This cell was nothing but a one way mirror. She could see herself standing there from the furthest wall.

That's when it happened. Like a cloud of smoke, mist began surrounding her. Kina did nothing but stand there as her body was covered in this smoke. The environment changed. And she found herself back home.

A small village. A small town of absolute nothing. No people, no cars, no horses. Just houses and furniture. Plants, and road. The sky was grey and the moon was red.

Kina's heart raced fast. So fast she almost began going crazy from how loud her damn heartbeat was.

"You trespass." A voice came from everywhere. Kina swung her katana.

"ADRIAN!" Kina yells.

She looked around the town. turning around to see if she could see him from anywhere. But there was nothing. This silence was so unsettling.

"Why are you here... Asista?

"And how do you know my name?" Kina kept spinning around slowly with her sword in her hands.

"Hehehe! I know everything about you. From the day you were born to the day your mom left you on the lake." That's when Kina spun around again to see herself standing in front of a lake. More specifically behind a woman.

This woman was so beautiful. Her hair was long, eyes small and cute. She was tall and her skin was so clear.

"I want you to stay strong my little one! STAY STRONG! Don't let ANYONE tell you that you aren't special!" This woman held a baby in her hand. Sitting next to this woman was a basket. Inside were blankets.

"Mom?!" Kina dropped her sword and launched towards the woman.

Reaching out to grab this woman, her hands went through her like smoke.

"Huh?" The woman gasped.

The woman turned around in horror. Out of curiosity Kina turned to see what her mother was looking at. Kina's hurt dropped. Her mother forced Baby Kina into the basket and pushed the basket down the stream.

"LEAVE HER ALOOOOONE!" Kina screamed. Those demons from hell. Those monsters Kina had fought off in the first chapter were there. They looked angry. Like Kina's mother had something they wanted.

Like that one of the demons sliced Kina's mom's face off her head.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Kina screamed. Tears formed in her eyes.

In anger Kina grabbed her sword from the ground and began swinging at nothing. Every time she tried to slice at the demons it was like slicing through a cloud of smoke.

As Kina went for her last slice the environment changed.

Kina stood there for no she was 12.

She could see herself run into this dojo. A table of apples and other fruits sat in the middle of the room for more she remembered this moment.

Kina was told a lie. Her mother never ran off to America. She was fucking killed.

Standing there with her eyes blood shot read she watched as Younger Kina ran up to the table. Skinny, scared, and dirty. She grabbed an apple, nearly shoving the entire thing in her mouth as she chowed down.

She threw that apple on the ground before grabbing an orange and began eating without pealing it.

Kina was so hungry that day. So sad. It was raining hard outside and no one was willing to feed her for they thought she was a set up.

The dojo doors opened. Her brother came out. This was before he was sick for he was also young.

"HEY!" He ran at Kina kicking her in the stomach but Kina didn't care. She dodged the second kick before launching herself over the table and grabbing a pare and eating it. He kicked her to the floor forcing the pare from her hand.

That's when he dropped on top of her punching her in the face repeatedly before her father came out of the room her brother had come out of. Kina now knows he wasn't her real father.

"You fucking whore..." Kina mumbles.

"Your entire life was a lie. And you;lol be forever unloved." That voice. Adrian's voice came from all directions.

Smoke filled her surrounds.

"I've played with you long enough." Kina found herself looking down a dark road. The voice was now right behind her.

Kina stood there with her back facing this woman's voice now.

Turning around she could see her father.

Kina's heart stopped.

She almost lost grip of her katana.

"Dad?"

"You failed me..."

Kina shook her head.

Closing her eyes tightly she put her hand son her head.

"THIS IS FAKE!" She cried.

She opened her eyes again. But this time her father was in front of her.

With one good swing her punched her. She fell to her knees before blood began streaming down her face from her nose.

"IS THIS FAKE? IS THIS FAKE, KINAAAAA!" Her father screamed.

Kicking her in the stomach she fell to her side. Scrambling up as fast as she could he punched her back down.

"STAND UUUUUP!"

He went for another punch but his fist was caught. Kina's eyes were red, tears coming out as she slowly turned her head to him. Looking her father in her eyes she stood up closing her fist tighter and tighter.

She could hear his bones breaking. His knuckles cracked uncontrollably.

The smoke cleared up as she found herself now back int he cell. She was no longer holding her father's fist in her hand but Adrian's. he was on his left knee trying to loosen up Kina's grip.

"Bring up my father again and I'll fucking kill you..." Kina demanded. throwing his fist away Adrian fell to the ground.

Kina stood there. Looking at him with such anger.

15 soldiers stormed into the cell pulling Kina away and forcing Adrian to the ground but Kina stayed with an evil glare on her face. For no she has overcome Adrian's power. He was no longer a threat to her.

Kina was forced out of the cell failing to get Adrian on the 10 Commandments.

"That didn't go very well, did it?" Kyle stood next to Kina as she stares at Adrian being restrained with Power Stunning bracelets and necklaces.

"We'll try again next week." Kina says.

Turning around and walking away she left Kyle standing there looking at Adrian who was forced to be wrapped in chains and now being moved to a more heavily guarded cell.
