Good to see you alive

Chen Rui was in a dilemma especially when she didn't know the place where Jin Mingze was holding Little Flower.

One day, when he left, Chen Rui decided to secretly follow him. She has been following him for days until she finally saw him go to an unknown place.

Upon reaching that place, Chen Rui was in a disguise so she was able to sneak in.

Little Flower was locked in the basement and when Chen Rui saw her situation, her eyes widened in disbelief.

Little Flower was chained up against the wall and she has some bruises and cuts in her arms and legs. Her clothes were wet and from the looks of it, Jin Mingze's men tortured her badly.

Seeing her precious senior that way lit up a fire inside Chen Rui. She was filled with anger and hate.

"Did she say anything about who sent her?"

"No. She still won't speak up."

The Jin Mingze she saw that moment was different than the usual man she saw at home. He was emitting a cold and heavy pressure. He was looking icily at Little Flower.

"Leave us."

"Yes sir." The man left them shortly.

Little Flower raised her head and smiled upon seeing Jin Mingze, her teeth were covered in bloodstain and she has a blackeye around her right eye.

"It has been a while... Jin Mingze... good to see you alive."

This was her chance! Jin Mingze was alone! She can knock him out and save Little Flower! Chen Rui thought as she put on her white fox mask.

Jin Mingze took a knife from a nearby table and looked at it, "Since you don't plan on talking, I might as well kill you right now."

"Sure, go ahead... You won't be alive for long if you did..." Little Finger knew that her master, Ou Yuan was surely going to take revenge for her death.

"Then let me give you a slow-"

Swish!

A shadow flickered and in the next second, Chen Rui managed to kick off Jin Mingze's hand which made the knife fall on the ground.

His brows frowned deeply upon seeing a masked woman, "Who are you?"

Chen Rui didn't say anything, instead, she ignored him and launched into her attack.

What was surprising was that Jin Mingze was going considerably well in avoiding her attacks.

Since it was obvious that he was stronger than her, Chen Rui picked the knife in defense against him.

He snarled and aggressively attacked her as if he was a beast. While he was attacking, he noticed that the woman was trying to protect her stomach from his attacks so he thought that she might be injured there.

When he managed to take off the fox mask that covered her whole face. The mask fell on the ground, revealing a black face mask that covered the lower half of her face.

Chen Rui was being careful so that Jin Mingze wouldn't recognize her but the moment he saw her familiar eyes he stopped attacking.

He was about to open his mouth but out of reflex, when he approached her, Chen Rui stabbed him in his stomach.

When she realized what she did, her hands trembled and panic instantly filled her eyes which Jin Mingze noticed.

"I-I... I didn't... I didn't..."

"Get over it already!" Little Flower's voice snapped her out of her trance.

Chen Rui hurriedly took the keys that were on the table and unlocked the chains that were used to tie Little Flower against the wall.

"Kill him!" Little Flower exclaimed as she was helped by Chen Rui.

"Getting you out here is my priority. He'll be dead sooner because of blood loss. Let's go!"

"Boss!"

There were two men nearby who heard the commotion outside. They entered the room and saw Jin Mingze on the ground.

One approached him while the other went and launched an attack on the two women but he ended up being kicked off by Chen Rui before she hurriedly brought Little Flower outside.

"I'll take our boss to the doctor, you! Get up and tell others to follow-"

Jin Mingze weakly held on his arm, "No... don't follow them... Leave them be..."
