That Time I reincarnated as The Overlord [Currently on Hiatus]

Arthur Gets reincarnated into the Earth of Overlord and then gets transmigrated but what's this? Instead of the New World he's in Tensura? 500 years back in the past! Thrust into the World of Tensura of the past, he will have to decide which route to take. The path of a World Conquerer? Or live a simple Carefree life with his NPCs? Note: The story Will loosely follow the OverLord Elements and Tensura's Power system to some extent. This Fanfic will be an AU meaning changes! yay!, but not much changes will be in the original plot. Characters may appear when they shouldn't but it's the effects of 'butterfly fluttering away' so relax and enjoy! Also Obviously I don't have any rights on Overlord Anime/LNs or Tensura/TTIGRAAS. OCs are ofcourse mine though.

Chp-54 Alone.

3rd Pov.

In a Dark and Voided World, a solitary figure floated in perpetual space. The figure's faces was contorted with frowns, constantly changing from fear, despair, confusion , worry and anger.

Suddenly a series of flashes occurred, showing a different scene each time it changed.

First, a battlefield. Flushed in the red hue of the setting sun along with the twisting flames burning all around. The battlefield was covered with a layer of blood, bodies, some married by cuts, some burned.

The scene stretched all around the horizon, with countless flags and banners sticking out of those poles of bodies. Almost all broken, or torn apart as if to signify the hard loss the dead had suffered.

Every banner or flag had different emblems embroidered on it. One of them that stuck out the most was of a large banner propped on a small hill of bodies, the insignia that of an siz winged golden angel holding both its hands in a reverent prayer.

The white cloth and the gold embroidery drenched in Crimson blood as the flag slowly caught fire and burned along with the whole scene, shifting to the next.

On the second, there was what could be imagined as the army of a Great Alliance, faces of many that held hope, of winning the upcoming war, regrets of not staying with their family for a little longer.

The scene focused on a trio, a male and a female looking towards you. They held smiles on their faces as they looked at you, or the one whose memories this was.

Suddenly a Rumbling Roar echoed.

ROOOOAAARRRR!!

As the roar sounded, a large thunder struck as an Ominous scene emerged. A kilometre tall Dragon, it's Void Purple scales glistening in the light of the thunder, as it's gaping Maw charged a large Magical Beam.

The scene, once again changed to the battlefield. Now with a figure of a battered warrior knelt before the flag where the Angel Prayed.

The last rays of the sun before it set pierced through the thick clouds only to shine the lone figure. As if to provide solace to him.

"Was this necessary? Why....why couldn't I save them?.." the figure muttered softly.

"This was necessary. With the dead of them, now no-one will be against me. No more meaningless death will be needed anymore now." A voice rang from the back.

"No more meaningless death you say?....Is the death of Millions not meaningless to you!!" The figure screamed as he turned towards the voice.

"...The sacrifice of a few is needed for the Happiness of the Many. It was their fault for not agreeing that time. What I did was nothing but showing what will happen if you disagreed with me." The voice rang once more.

"You are a Tyrant." The figure said as he gripped his sword.

"Maybe. But what I do is for the Greater Good, Many more than whom that have died here will enjoy a life they never could have dreamed of. They will be Happy."

"Then what of the Family of those that died? They won't be happy." The Figure retorted.

"That's the difference between us, Riku. You are a Hero while I, am a Demon Lord."

The voice spoke as he revealed the figure to be Riku. The Hero of Light who played a Big role in the Great War.

"That's why, I will kill you, even If I die."

Riku spoke as he held his sword up, and rushed at the Voice, even though he had no magic power or strength left for his attack to even reach the Voice, he attacked.

Aaarghh!!

Suddenly the scene dissipated and a pair of eyes opened wide. Riku sat straight from his sleeping position as he struggled to breathe properly, sweat dripping down his forehead like a fountain.

*Clank**clank*

Metal getting dropped sounded as Riku Swift turn towards the noise to see a Young Girl having a stunned face looking at him.

Riku frowned for an instance as he looked down to see a plate, piece of cloth and a bowl scattered on the ground, the floor was wet due to the water he assumed was stored on the bowl that the girl droped.

Before he could utter anything, the girl ran through the doop of the room and disappeared. Gathering himself together, Riku looked around the room properly.

The room looked like a simple tavern room, with wooded beans supporting the whole room, a bed on which he sat, a side table on which a bowl of fruit was placed.

Through the window on his left, he saw a bustling village setting, and from further observation he noticed that the house where he currently resided on was raised on the ground. Judging by the whole Village outside being several meters below, or maybe he was on a high floor.

As he missed such thoughts, the closed door opened to let in the girl from earlier, an old aged man probably in his 50s and a middle aged man, from which Riku could sense a hint of Holy Magic from.

It was not much but enough for him to know that the man was probably a priest of relatively high standing.

"Hello, my name is Luther. I am the Head Priest of this Village. I am relieved that you are finally awake." The middle aged man spoke.

"My name is Holms, I am the village chief and this is my GrandDaughter Lily, who took care of you." The Old Man Said as the yound girl probably 18, greeted shyly.

"How...long...was I asleep." Riku struggled to properly formulate his sentence as he found his throat as parched as a Great Desert.

"You were in a Coma for three years." The Priest said as Lily promptly provided Riku with Cold water which he appreciated.

Now that he looked closely, he saw a little resemblance of one of his friends on her. Maybe it was just his imagination.

"How did, you find me." Riku asked.

"We didn't, you came to us. All battered, as if you survived the Great Dragon's wrath himself." The Old Man, Holms jested.

"You...could say that." Riku replied, thinking how what this old man said, was so on point.

"Wait..what year is it?" Riku suddenly asked.

"It's the 500th year of the Great Dragonic Calendar." The Priest replied.

'Great Dragonic Calendar?' Riku thought in suspicion.

"And how long ago did the War occur." Riku asked.

"War? You mean The Great War? It was Three Hundred years ago." The Priest Luther said.

'Three Hundred!!' Riku's eyes widened at the revelation.
