Carlos Pov.
It has been two Days since we left the coast of Gemmera. We are almost halfway on our route to The Death Lands.
Our King George, understanding the Importance of our mission, allocated A fleet from the Kingdom's Navy. To protect the transport ships from pirates.
We only have a Small Navy because given our small Coastal Territory, much focus was given on Land Military.
Still our Navy was quite strong, and the fleet the King provided us with was from the best the kingdom had.
With 2 Large Galleys to transport the Magicule Crystals which were surrounded by 9 Frigates, two on the rear, two on the sides each and three on the front in a Triangular formation.
I was standing on the starboard of a 2nd Rate ship called the Ruby. I was watching the abnormally calm waves of the ocean.
Alongside me was the caption of this fleet, Captain Rodgers.
Carlos: Captain, what do you think about the weather?
Rodgers: Sir Carlos, as much as i want to say that the Calm Ocean is good for us, I can't help but worry what Tsunami this Calm waves might give us with.
He was right, although anyone would be happy about the situation we were in But we both were aware that this was abnormal. Any sane sailor who have sailed in this region could tell you this.
The waters near the Continent of Death Lands was a True Danger Zone of The Ocean.
Due to the massive magicule radiated from the continent any monster near it would mutate and grow at an unprecedented rate.
Even an E rank CatEel might become an A rank sea monster if given enough time here.
Because of this there were a danger of encountering such sea monsters. But such things have not happened to us since our journey. Which worries me, you don't know what kind of Sea Creatures you might encounter in this sea.
I don't know which God Of The Sea is looking over us, but if you are True then please help us overcome the danger our kingdom is in.
Because of the Magicule Density anyone going near the continent might suffer severe cause of Magicule Poisoning and Stepping foot on it was not even worth mentioning.
So except for the crew Manning the ships both the Galleys were half filled with my Worker Golems. I can control them to remotely gather the crystals we needed.
This was the plan I came up with to mine the crystals there and then the crystals would be retrieved and stored in the Galley that would be manned by the golems after reaching the continent.
This expedition will take atleast two weeks to complete.
Unfortunately I have to leave the Golems there since the Galley might not be able to bear the weight of both the Crystals and The golems which took only to be filled halfway to reach the holding capacity of the ship.
I could also use this opportunity to see if the magicule density changes any of the golems.
Such were my thoughts as our fleet sailed nearer to the continent which we decided to be our answer to the crisis our kingdom was going through.

Finally the Third day has arrived, we are reaching close to the continent now.
Me and the captian was inside his cabin discussing and revising the plans when I sensed a large magicule clump a distance away from us reaching rapidly.
I quickly stood form my chair and rushed outside to observe the situation with the Caption following me to the starboard.
Carlos: Captain!! I just sensed a creature underwater approaching us rapidly form the west, urgently inform the ships to be ready for battle!!.
Rodgers: Understood!!
With that Rodgers went to instruct his men to signal the warning to other ships as I kept observing the creature's location as it's Magicule became clearer as it neared.
3rd Pov.
From a distance a trail of turbulent waves could be seen approaching the fleet from the west.
As soon as it reached one the frigates, a large tentacle emerged from the water and raised high up in the air.
It's diameter was enough for three people to collectively hug around with its length being as tall as ten adult males standing on top of each other.
As the tentacle hung in the air for a moment, everyone couldn't help but stare at it and wonder what might happen next, inspite of knowing exactly what might happen. Such was the curiosity of human beings.
As soon as such thoughts passed their heads the tentacle swung with a force enough to destroy stone houses and broke the frigate into half sinking the ship and it's crew into the depths of the ocean with it.
Because of the warning given by Carlos the fleets were warned but even despite that they could not prevent the creature from doing such a thing.
As soon as the tentacle struck, the remaining frigates surrounded around it and started firing the cannons. In the combined fireing the tentacle wriggled intensely and sunk back in the ocean.
Just as the survivors were about to rejoice 5 more new Tentacle emerged and started frantically swiping at the ships.
Rodgers: Spread Out!! Spread Out!! Damnit!!
Carlos: Captain!! Order your men to move near the position of the Kraken!! Let me deal with it!
Yes, the creature was the Kraken from the legend of the sailors. But here in this world, kraken were as common in the sea as a Tiger would be on land, not that tiger existed on Tensura.
Rodgers: I'll depend on you then sir Carlos.
As he said that he ordered his men to steer the frigates away from the Kraken and allowed his ship to sail closer to the kraken to help Carlos do whatever Rodgers Thought he was doing.
As the ship reached a safe distance Carlos started chanting unintelligible words. Large Blue and white intertwined magic circle formed befor his extended hands as he charged up almost all of his magicules.
And then he fired the spell. From the magic circle a large beam of white light went inside the ocean evaporating a large volume of water into vapour. After the spell finished fireing and a cloud of vapour was swept away by the winds of the ocean. Every one could see the tentacles in the air motionless for a moment and then sinking inside the depths of the ocean.
A moment of silence fell on the ships and then abruptly a thunder of cheers echoed from all the remaining ships, praise for the Court mage Carlos could be heard.
On the ship, using up most of his magicules Carlos dropped on the Ship's deck with Rodgers helping him up and bringing him inside the ship's infirmary to let him rest.
After the Incident, what was remained of the sunk ship and it's crew that floated were retrieved and Mourned for. The remains were preserved to be given a proper and respectful burial in the Kingdom with the honour these men deserved.
As everyone was getting ready to set sail again non of them noticed a large silhouette up high in the clouds that flied past them...
After few hours the Ship's crew could see the silhouette of the Continent along with the oppressive pressure of the Magicules it radiated.
Along the time taken to reach the continent Carlos also woke up fully recovered after drinking some mana potions and casted a Barrier magic on the ships to protect the people from the Magicules.
With the fleet staying away from the shore, only one of the Galleys were sent to drop the golems with Carlos operating them remotely. This was done so because Operating the ship required much of Carlos's focus and mental power and he couldn't control enough golems to operate two galleys.
The galley successfully dropped of the golems and went back with the another coming to get the remaining golems to drop off.
After that the work on the Mining of Magicule Rich Crystals began.
