The wind missiles cause wind explosions and widen the pathway in the cave. The bats get crushed on the walls of the cave due to the pressure of the winds and more of them follow Tatsuya and the others. They continue to run until they reach their limits and stop.

"Now what?! I'm too tired… Let's take a break!"

"I agree with you… carrying luggage while running is tiring… But shouldn't we have already encountered it…?"

"What do you mean by 'it'? You really thought there was a monster causing the illusions?"

"First of all… Get off of my back!" says Tatsuya and throws down Sylvie.

"Ouch! Treat a lady with more respect!"

"Nobody not even once called you a lady. So you're just an older brat to me. Leaving that aside, I've realised something crucial in this short time I've spent here… Skills aren't that tough to get."

"Which means?" asks Kirio after getting off Elm's back.

"Which means… Monsters can acquire them too."
