"So tell me... what will happen to me if you take my place?"

"Your soul will be asleep until something like this happens... I mean I was asleep for such a long time."

"So you'll take my place for the time being... How long is time being?"

"Why do you always remind me of that idiot?" says Tatsuya and sighs.

"I think I'll meet him after waking up... Sieg was it?"

"Yeah..."

"I'll try acting like you then. Is that alright?"

"Yeah. And also please look after Kei and protect her at any cost... Good luck being me... or you!"

"See ya, Ryo!"

"Later!"

Then suddenly a big white door appears out of nowhere and starts opening slowly. Perseus walks into the white light coming after opening the door and the door closes. Tatsuya yawns and says-

"Time for me to rest... I guess." And he slowly starts to fade away while he closes his eyes.

Perseus opens his eyes and sees the ceiling of their dorm room. Then he looks to his left and sees Kei teary eyed while saying-

"You've finally come to... Ryo-nii..."

"Hm? And who is Ryo-nii?"

"Oh... What is your name then..."

"I'm... I don't remember very much about myself... But I remember someone called Kei and Sieg..."

Kei looks relieved and overjoyed at the same time and hugs him and tells him-

"I'm Kei and you're Ryo-nii... Tatsuya Ryo I mean!"

"Ok?"

Then Perseus starts to think to himself-

"It's a bit difficult trying to act like that idiot..."

"What's wrong onii-chan?"

"Nothing... Nothing at all, Kei-chan!"

After a short pause Kei says-

"Is that so? Then shall we get ready for today's class?"

"Um... Yeah!"

After they change Perseus goes to the balcony and sees kiro panting and wagging his tail. He immediately closes the balcony door after going back inside and asks Kei while looking confused-

"Kei-chan? Why is there a greater Lycan in the balcony?"

"Ly...can? You mean kiro?"

"It has a name?"

"You were the one who made him your friend and brought him home."

"Oh... Right, now I remember..." says Perseus hesitatingly and while laughing awkwardly.

Before leaving he thinks to himself-

"This is really... becoming a hassle!"

When he starts walking downstairs Sieg passes by and says-

"Morning." Without noticing who he passed by.

"Good morning." Says Kei and Perseus.

After they reached the end of the stairs Sieg realizes and looks around and screams with shock-

"You're up?!"

"Hm?" says Perseus looking confused.

The three of them go to the academy together. Sieg and Kei walk straight towards the stairs but Perseus opens the door to class 1-A. Sieg and Kei stop at the stairs and ask him-

"Are you sure your memories aren't there anymore? Tatsuya?"

"Why did you ask?"

"You've opened the door to our class..."

"Oh..." says Perseus and realizes that he had opened the door to their class.

"I just opened it from instinct... maybe." Says Perseus and laughs awkwardly while walking inside class.

Sieg and Kei continue walking up the stairs looking a bit depressed.

"He doesn't have his old scent anymore..."

"He's not the Ryo-nii I used to know anymore... Ryo-nii had much colder eyes."

"You're right. This Tatsuya doesn't even tick me off anymore..."

Everyone look shocked and shout out-

"Congratulations on your full recovery!"

"This occasion calls for a party right?!"

"Yeah! Tatsuya will pay for everyone!"

"Wait! Take it slow! Why should I pay for you all?!"

Goro-sensei enters class and everyone gets seated and become silent. Perseus was a bit confused and asked hesitatingly-

"Wh-what's wrong? Why are you all silent?"

Goro then holds his shoulder tightly and says-

"Good morning mystery boy! Hope you slept well...! Now time for your remedial classes."

"Remedial classes? What do you mean by that?"

"It's just as it sounds... You've missed a lot of tests these few months. So you will be making up for those tests by staying after school and studying."

"Study...?! Are you serious?!"

"I'm more serious than anyone in this room."

Perseus nods his head in affirmative and goes and sits on the empty seat in the back.

"Why did I sit here again?"

Sieg opens the door while panting and says-

"I made it... right?"

"C'mon in."

Sieg comes in happily and sits in front of Perseus. Their usual day in the academy starts and they all start to take down notes. The bell rings after few hours and then Sieg gets up and says-

"Let's grab lunch, Tatsuya."

"Yeah..." says Tatsuya while yawning.

They walk to the cafeteria and Sieg orders a whole bunch of things while Perseus only orders bread and milk. They sit at one of the empty tables and when they start eating Sieg asks him-

"Talk softly... You have a different scent from before you were in a deep sleep."

"Pervert..." says Perseus while he crossed his arms.

"It's not that... My nose is a special thing that only dragon slayers have."

"Oh. I thought for sure that you were some pervert trying to get close to me."

"What do you take me for? You are an idiot in the end..."

"So why did you tell me to talk softly?"

"Who are you? You're definitely not the Tatsuya I know."

"Me? Why should I tell a stranger who I am?"

Sieg looks a bit sad and then he puts up his cheerful face and tells Perseus-

"I was Tatsuya's bestie you know!"

"Sieg..." says Perseus after eating his bread and then remembers what Tatsuya had told him.

"I'm sure that he told me about a loner who talked with him trying to be friends with him... Was it you though?"

"That explanation... Geh. That's definitely me that he told you about."

"You sure?"

"Have you met Tatsuya? I mean it sounds stupid since you're in his body after all."

"His body?"

"Wait. Why did you say it like...?"

"Because it was never his body to begin with."

Sieg looks a bit shocked then he thinks to himself while gulping down few burgers-

"I need to think this through. It wasn't Tatsuya's body to begin with... could it be that only his soul travelled into this body? The already existing soul in this Tatsuya' body had to be suppressed because of that."

"I need to make something clear with you."

"What is it?"

"You should have a name then? What do I call you?"

"Um..." Says Perseus and thinks to himself, "Tatsuya said that this guy was an idiot. He already thought it out till here! Well, no point trying to hide it in. I somehow trust this guy."

"Call me Perseus."

"Is that your real name? Or an alias?"

"Obviously it's my real name... You idiot!"

"Who is the real idiot among us?" says Perseus while looking annoyed.

They finish eating and head back to class. When they enter the class Celestine, Luna and Nelia confront him and ask him-

"Do you remember me? You've saved me once!"

"I don't expect you to remember me..."

"Are you still an idiot?"

"Why the hell would you call someone who woke up after so long an idiot?! Also, I don't know anyone in this class except this guy. I lost my memories after all...!" says Perseus and walks to his seat.

He takes his seat and so does Sieg. Then Sieg asks him-

"Why were you so rude to them?"

"I don't know... I just felt like that was the right thing to do. You can call it intuition if you want to."

"What are you so intuitive about?"

"Like I said. I don't know myself. I'll give you the details for what I remember after classes for today are over.��

"Alright. Just take it easy."

"I'm a traveller in the first place. Not a student!" says Perseus frustratingly in a low voice while looking outside the window.

The lectures get over by afternoon and the students start to head back to the dorms. Sieg gets up and says-

"See ya. I'll be waiting in your room."

"Yeah. Got it." Says Perseus and takes out his books from the desk.

Goro enters the class shortly after Sieg leaves the class and then he says-

"You can start studying. If you have any problem then ask me."

"Yes~ Goro-sensei."

The time was about 6 or 7 in the evening. Perseus looks spent and he heads back to the dorm looking dead. He opens the door of his room and sees Sieg and Kei playing with Kiro. Perseus stops at the door and then he asks them-

"Why is that Lycan still here?!"

"Why? It is your pet after all."

"My pet?! I would never have a monster as my pet!"

"Oh, right! Can you still use your grimoire and magic?"

"Grimoire and magic? I can only use magic that manipulates time..."

"You have time magic?! I thought you had some unknown variety... Wait, you're not Tatsuya."

"Well, yes I'm not."

"Then what about the grimoire kept in the cupboard?"

"What about it? Let me see..." says Perseus and opens his cupboard to find a lot of money with a grimoire and another book in there.

Perseus looks shocked and asks Kei-

"Kei-chan... Did I have this much money?"

"Yeah! You got this money after winning."

"Okay... deep breaths... I didn't steal it. That's a relief."

Then he takes out the grimoire and tries to open it. The grimoire doesn't budge and flies out of his hand into the cupboard.

"It's rejecting me..."

"Then, my theory is true."

"Theory?"

Then Sieg looks at Kei and tells her while smiling-

"Kei... Your brother isn't gone anywhere. This guy is Perseus. He's taking care of Tatsuya's body for a while."

"Really? Is that true, Sieg-nii?!"

"Yep. Sure is!"

"Um... What are we talking about again?"

"Oh right! Before I forget... Perseus can you tell us whatever you can remember from when you were asleep?"

"I can but..."

"But?"

"I only remember little about that... Also..."

"Also?"

"Pay me 200 del for that information..." says Perseus while having a smirk on his face.

"You both are kind of similar in many ways..." says Sieg and sighs. He goes to his room and brings the money and gives it to Perseus.
