Vegeta Saga 10

I heard some noises from Vegeta's Scouter. He stood up and looked over to the Z-Fighters. "Time is up!" He had a unhappy look on his face.

Everybody on the other side looked a bit shocked at first, but Krillin and Gohan went in attacking position instantly, waiting for an instant surprise attack.

Vegeta took his Scouter and threw it away. "So. It seems like Kakarot decided to let you die on your own"

Now Piccolo turned over to face him. "Huh?"

'Oh man, I'm not ready for this, I'm not ready for this at all…'

"He is coming!" Screamed Gohan over to us. "My dad's not afraid! He will be here!"

"That's right!" Added Krillin. "He'd never abandon his friends!"

Vegeta looked over to the Saibamen. "We'll let them do some work first."

The Saibamen started to make their weird sounds again and walked forward, in front of me and Vegeta.

"So, do you want to play a little game with us now?" Asked Vegeta. Now again with a malicious smile on his face.

"We're still not here to play games with you!" Said Piccolo.

"Why not?" Asked Vegeta ironically. "It would be fun. One Saibamen versus one of your fighters."

"No we will not pla-" Piccolo got interrupted by Yamchu. "Imma take on one!" He stepped forward a few steps and then stopped.

'Oh no! I know this scene too good. I won't let Yamchu die… But he took on one in the Anime, so I hope he can do that now as well.'

"No Yamchu, we can fight them together, don't go solo!"

"It's okay Piccolo, I've got this."

Piccolo sighed but didn't do anything else.

Yamchu went in attacking position, and prepared to fight one of the Saibamen. One Saibaman started to walk forward slowly and stopped a few meters away from him.

Yamchu started to run towards the Saibaman, who started to fly off immediately, and Yamchu followed. They were actually invisible for me, because they were so fast.

Gohan looked unbelieving at the spot where the two stood just a few moments before. "Th-They vanished!" – "Nonsense!" Said Piccolo back. "They're just moving very fast! Try to feel their energies." – "Feel… their energies?" – "All of us are watching them right now except you Gohan." – "What? You can see them?"

He got a confident look. "Okay…" – "Just don't focus on a specific point, let your eyes take in your entire surroundings."

'Because I was just as Gohan, and couldn't see a thing of them I tried to follow Piccolo's guidance as well.'

"Remember," Said Piccolo to Gohan, who was still concentrating. "you're not trying to see their bodies, but the light that the energy of their bodies gives off."

I just tried as Piccolo said, and … 'Yes! I can see them!' A green and an orange light flew around all of us, constantly hitting each other.

"I can hear them Piccolo." – "That's good! Now try to concentrate even more, don't blink your eye!" After a few more seconds of Gohan searching for them, his facial expression suddenly changed. "I can see them!"

Yamchu and Saibaman seemed to be pretty even. But then the Saibaman suddenly jumped to a nearby rock, from which he lap himself in the direction of Yamchu.

But Yamchu already expected this, quickly went behind the Saibaman and fired a Kamehameha at him, sending him into the ground.

All the Z-Fighters cheered. "Good Job Yamchu!"

Yamchu turned around to face us. "Well, that was easy. Looks like we're in a different league all together than your little green goon squad!"

He walked a step towards us. "Now then, why won't you let me take all them at once?"

Vegeta laughed. "Now that I'd like to see. Too bad I won't get the chance."

"Oh yeah? Bring them on!"

Suddenly the Saibaman behind Yamchu jumped up and slipped himself to Yamchu.

'Wait… He didn't kill one and then died through another one… He got killed by the first one! Fuck!'
