AN ENCOUNTER

*heavy breathing sound*

'*gasp* I'm pretty weak huh..' I stopped on the sidewalk while my hands were over my knees.

"I'm all sweaty", 

'I shouldn't overexhaust this weak body, my stamina should increase with daily practice' I turned around and started walking back...

'It's dark already' I thought while looking around.

*woof* *woof*

A dog was trying to jump on a kid, 

the kid has greyish white hair , about 3'7 with olive eyes, he had a green t-shirt and pants on.

'Isn't that Hori's little brother' I looked at him, while a wry expression on my face, after a few seconds I went there and helped him get up.

'I should at least take him to his sister, it should be alright as long as we don't meet '

"hey kid are you hurt anywhere?"

"no... I'm fine, thank you nii san" he said while looking at me with a smile as his nose started bleeding

"*sigh*lets get you back home first" 

"yup..!"

we walked towards his house, I left him at the door, as i walked towards my home.

"I should hurry up" I said as I was walking..

after a while I reached my apartment and soon I was inside the house. I put my clothes in laundry and went inside the bathtub.

"mhhmmm.."I said while I relaxed myself, "I should start studying for the college entrance exams from now, the more time I have, the better..."

I wore my cozy half sleeves t-shirt and  pyjama after drying up. I tied my hair up again as they always came in the way of my eyes...

I had the dinner and went to my room.

"It's time for the night duty!" i said in an excited tone with an excited smile on my face

while I gritted my teeth

after 3 hours~

'i should sleep now, I have school tommorow' I closed my books and put them back in my bag.

"*yawn*" I let a long yawn out..

<next day in the classroom....>

I opened my notebook for the first class, it was chemistry class. I looked at my notebook to see no proper notes and a very peculiar middle school handwriting...

"shit" I said in a serious tone as I was shaken up from inside. there was a sudden silence in class, everybody was looking at me..

"pay attention" Terajime sensei said as to end the awkward silence...

"don't you think that Miyamura guy is kinda weird, Hori?"

"yeah..."

i looked around "*sighhh*"

i started making clear notes as i used to during my highschool days.

after school was over I went to the notice board to look  at the information there, I wanted to take a good look at the activities and timetables, A guy with silky red hair and grey sweater came near the notice board with a poster in his hands.

'is that Sengoku?' I thought while looking at his face intently.

"uhmm, " he noticed me looking at him so intently and acted as if I wasn't there

"hello kaichou" 

"hello" he said with a wry smile

"are you sticking a poster?" I said while looking at the contents of the poster

he looked at the poster and said "oh, this is a recruitment notice for anybody willing to help out the student council, there is a lot of work these days. "

"ohh",

I said while turning around and walking towards the shoe locker.

'I guess this was that extra work that made Hori ashamed Infront of everyone'

'it was found out that Remi was the one who did it so everything was all good' I wore my shoes and started walking to outside"

"its hot.." I said with a sophisticated face

  'why the fuk did he get tattooed, its such a hassle'

"I should do something about it, I can't keep on wearing a blazer in this heat" I said while fanning my blazer

"why don't you just remove it then?" I heard a cute curious voice from my left

I looked to find a short girl with pink hair and pink eyes staring at me

"yes I will, waiting for Sengoku?" I said, in an attempt to change the subject

"yep, Sengoku-san said that he will be coming after sticking the notice"

"well, see you Remi san"

"yep!" she said forgetting the whole blazer thing.

"husssh" I exhaled in a relief

'she wouldn't have left me be '

'good thing she is dumb' I walked towards the shopping streets

'yeah, I should get that' I thought as I entered a shop with tattoo posters everywhere

"can I get an arm bandage?" I said with a smile of accomplishment on my face

"yeah of course " the lady said with a wry smile on her face, I took my blazer off right then and there and put an arm bandage on.

<A N of course he paid her>

I held my blazer with one arm and started walking on the sidewalk, I suddenly heard a sound

"Ni..Nishikino s-san will you date m-me" I saw some kids from Yasaka high, which was considered the best highschool in the city in front of a karaoke

'is it a confession?, highschool kids really don't know how dangerous the adult world is huh' I moved my gaze towards a girl who bas being confessed to.

standing there with not a single expression on her face was a girl about 162cm tall with light red hair and purple eyes.

<A N: she looks exactly like 'Maki Nishikino' from 'Love Live'>

' I never saw her in Horimiya...' 

"no" she said without changing her expression and went ahead towards her friends

"Maki san maybe you were a bit too harsh?" a girl said with a wry smile fearing people might hate Maki for being too cold

"*sigh*its better this way Hanako san, people will atleast stop confessing to me this way" Maki said with a short smile

after a few minutes everybody was gone from there 

"she did the right thing" I said as I started walking after taking the eggs from a store nearby 

I heard a sound of running when suddenly*thud*, we both fell down

"My eggs..." I said with sorrow and anger on my face as I looked at the one before me 

"ouch, sorry" it was the girl from before 

"ohh, rejection girl?" I said while still in the shock from losing some EGGS

she looked at me with slight embarassment  which then turned to anger "what youuu" she stopped for a while "GLASSES"

' thats immature...' I thought as I looked away with a sighing smile

she got up and got ready to run again "hey what about my eggs?" I said with a serious expression

"ill get you those after I get my wallet, if you want your eggs help me find it" she said while running

'oh did she leave it in that karaoke?' I ran behind her

we were at the karaoke

she ran to the counter "did you see a wallet in room 23?"

"uh.....No miss.."

'he is clearly lying.. I mean look , he isn't even able to look her in the eyes, well i don't have anything to do with her so I'm not getting in'

"*sob**sniff**sob*" her eyes were dropping one after another water droplets 

'I'm a piece of shit' I felt disgust towards myself as I stood there doing nothing maybe I was still a soft guy

"hello mister" I said to the man on the counter , she was still sobbing

"yes?"

"if you don't give her the wallet back I'll be calling police" I said in serious tone as if I wouldn't take no for an answer

"we...well I don't .." he tried to deny it

"give it back" I said with cell phone in my hands as people were gathering there to see what's going on

he took the wallet out of his pocket and put it on the counter

'gosh what a mess' I sighed heavily

"*sniff*"

"hey, rejection girl" I said while looking at her dripping purple eyes

"*sob* what do I do" she said, still crying

"i got it back" I looked at her as a smile spread on my face

"you did?" she said with a lightened up face, still sniffing

"yeah" I gave her the wallet , she looked at the man on the counter...

he looked sorry for his actions

she opened the wallet to check something and then held the wallet close to her chest

"thanks, glasses" she said with a heart filled smile while using tissues 

"well" I paused "rejection girl" with a laid back smile

she blushes to his carefree smile and then gives a smile in return

"you've got a Katagiri high uniform?" she said with an evaluating face

"yes, I'm a second year" I said still with a blazer in my hand

"I'm from Yasaka high, also a second year " she said

'she might know Shindou...,I mean she must, he is not an introvert like Miyamura'

"I'm Izumi Miyamura" I said 

"you are Maki Nishikino san?"

"uhh, you know?" she looked at me as if I was a creep

"I came to know when you rejected that guy in front of the karaoke"

she let out a tired sigh "here you go" she gave me a packet of eggs

"my eggs..." I said with satisfied smile

"bye rejection girl.." I said hurrying towards my home

'I should hurry'
