111 Chapter 52 The Gate Of Sorrow Part 2

========= 3d pov=========

[WARNING! The gate of Sorrow is beginning to open]

"What?!" The Sixth yelled as he quickly turned back around to see what was going on behind him.

[WARNING! A Fragment Of Corruption has been unleashed! This message has been sent to every living creature with in one hundred kilometres of the Fragment Of Corruption. Your only hope for survival is to run as far as you possibly can and pray that it does not find you] the voice of the world once again spoke causing the Sixth to step back in stunned shock.

"No...it co-couldn't be" the Sixth's tone of voice went from panicked, to shocked confusion and finally to full on rage.

"How does she...how does she have it!" He growled out as dozens of floating blood spikes appeared behind him, violent red energy crackling across them.

"How dare you, how dare you use something that belonged to the great Founder!" He roared in anger, at that moment all the spikes shot towards the already half dead Suu with the intention to finish her off, however, at that moment they seemed to bend, stretch and warp before flickering out of existence.

"What?" This was all the Sixth managed to get out before something alarming began to happen to Suu's body.

Suu's body started to twitch, she kept twisting and contorting in frankly horrific and painful looking ways that made even the Sixth's skin crawl. However, it wasn't the disturbing twitching of her body that caused all of the Sixth's instinct to explode with danger warnings...no, what set him off the most was the deafening screams. Don't get him wrong, the Sixth had heard screams before, horrible, twisted screams that could make even the most cold hearted person shiver but this, this was different. The scream of pure agony that was coming from Suu was something that couldn't be describe in words, no living creature, sentient or otherwise, could make a scream like that. Just as the Sixth thought it would go on for ever something happened, her body slowly but unnaturally stood up, it was as if she was a puppet on strings being controlled by some unknown invisible force.

Then she looked at him and the Sixth took another step back. Her eyes were completely gone. They were just gone as if they never existed in the first place, and now in there place were just empty, sunken in pits that looked like a bottomless void filled with nothing but emptiness. Just looking at them send chills down the Sixth's spine.

For a moment she just stood there looking at him with a blank, unflinching expression that made it impossible to guess what she was thinking. That quickly changed when what looked to be a mixture of both blood and tar started to pour out of her eyes and mouth in large amounts. It slowly spread across her body slowly engulfing and changing it into something truly monstrous. Her mouth was the first thing to be altered, her gums, lips and cheeks all ripped apart into a bloody mess before then almost instantly knitting themselves back together. Her normal looking mouth had now been transformed into something much more ominous, it had changed into a painful looking grin that went up to her ears and was filled with sharp, terrifying looking teeth.

At this point the rest of her body had already fully finished changing. She now looked rather skinny and lanky, her skin was now a dark charcoal black colour that only added to her unnatural appearance. Her fingers had elongated somewhat becoming wicked looking talon like claws and finally her hair was now stained black and red because of the tar and blood that covered it.

She tried to take a step forward, emphasis on tried too, because the moment she took a single step her back began to bulge and swell outward before six crimson red wings erupted from her back. This of course caused her back to violently tear open in several places with a sickening ripping noise that echoed through the surrounding area, this also ended up leading to an absurdly large amount of blood exploding out of the back of her body as well. However, considering what just happened her reaction was rather odd, she didn't even flinch, in fact she didn't show any signs of even noticing what had just occurred.

This had all been rather shocking to watch, however, the Sixth should have ran long ago, he should have listen to that little voice in the back of his head telling him to escape because now, now it was too late to run. From her body a massive black aura that seemed to instantly fill the whole area poured out from her in an explosion of force that pushed the Sixthback several meters. The moment the aura was released he knew what true fear really was. He couldn't run, couldn't move, it was like he was frozen in time, a prisoner in his own body and force to watch while completely helpless and unable to do anything.

The aura that was released seemed to twist everything around it, the walls, the floor, even time, space and reality seemed to be warped to some extent. Everything began to break apart as if the world it's self couldn't handle whatever this...this thing was. However, unbeknownst to the Sixth, his torment was only just starting.

Suu...no...the monster that was wearing her skin took another step forward and as it did he felt waves of crippling emotions crash against his mind. Pain, fear, anger, sadness, emptiness and many, many more poured into his mind like water erupting out from a broken dam. It was as if he was in the centre of a literal whirlpool of emotions that constantly poured into his mind. He was forced to absorb a never ending flood of mind breaking feelings that could drive most people mad in seconds and it only got worse from there.

With every step the being took towards him the emotions he felt only intensified further. With every step it took time seemed to slow down even more forcing him to suffer for an even longer period of time before the next step. He should have gone mad, he should have lost his mind completely long ago but everytime his mind was about to shatter into peaces, everytime he was about to completely lose it he would make eye contact with that thing and his mind would be forcibly put back together, however, his mind would then be bombarded all over again in what seemed to be an endless cycle of torture.

He wanted to die!

Why wouldn't it just hurry up and kill him already?!

Just let him go mad instead of bringing back his sanity over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....

==========Suu Pov=========

"What?!"

{Sorrow killed your...that man} the poorly named Joy repeated to make sure that I had heard her properly.

"B-but...n-no that...th-that's not what...he..."

{Hey! Calm down} she all most instantly called out causing me to snap out of my unpleasant downwards spiral.

"How am I supposed to calm down after you told me something like that?!" I yelled barely holding myself back from exploding in rage at her.

"Wait...if Sorrow killed him then doesn't that mean that I...I..."

{It was your body but it wasn't you that did it} Joy quickly said stopping me before I could go any deeper into that line of thought.

{Your not a monster}

"Why...?" I asked after several seconds of trying to calm myself down.

{Hmm?}

"Why did Sorrow...why did they kill him? I get that he was a horrible person but from what you have said so far I get the feeling that Sorrow didn't exactly like me. So why, why did they do it?" I asked again while still gritting my teeth.

{I'm going to be blunt here, Sorrow doesn't think you have anywhere near the strength it would take to control our power, she believes that you will just end up going insane like the last two before you. However, she doesn't hate you, she doesn't like you either but even she couldn't just sit there and watch you suffer like that. Seeing as you were already on deaths door anyway she finally couldn't take it anymore and decided to lash out at him. She used your emotions as well as her own strength to temporarily take control of your body} she explained causing me to be filled with several complicated feelings but for now I put them aside because there was a question that needed to be asked.

"Two? What do you mean "last two"?"

{Besides you and the god that I just told you about there was one other person, a person who somehow managed to unlock us but unlike you we couldn't communicate with them at all. They didn't last long...} I paused for a moment after hearing that, I was thinking if I should ask who this person was but in the end I decided to ask later because right now there was something more important to talk about.

"I want my memories back, I need them back" I said as firmly as I could while trying to hide the hesitation in my voice.

I knew that the memories were probably something very unpleasant, some part of me didn't even want to try and remember what had happened at all but...but I couldn't back out now. They were my memories and if I was ever going to move forward in this new life I couldn't keep trying to forget them, not that I would probably ever succeed in that task but still, I couldn't run from them, not now anyway.

{Are you sure?}

"...Yes"

(A/N. Sleepy time yaaaaaaaay, everyone likes sleepy time)
