Naruto was laying on the ground, breathing heavily as Hiruzen stood by his side, a harmless smile on his face sent shivers through Naruto's spine as he remembers their training

"You improved quite a bit Naruto, I think that's enough for today" As soon as those words left Hiruzen's mouth, Naruto got up and sprinted out of there at light speed

Hiruzen smiled at that, better be traumatized by a training ground, a teacher, and maybe a series of exercises than by losing someone you love

Thinking of that, a sad helpless smile made its way to his face, remembering all those times he wasn't even there when his close ones died

His wife? dead. and he was not there to save her

his successor? Dead as well. and he didn't help him

His oldest son? Dead. On some random mission

His boyfr*Cough* Old friend? Also dead. and worst still, he didn't even know who killed him

the mere thought of losing Naruto, who he considered as a grandkid, or Konohamaru, his actual grandkid, terrified him to no end

"Sigh..." There is no use thinking about the worst outcome, he can only try to avoid it, by any means necessary...

"I should also go..." He looked in the direction that Naruto ran to, but when he was about to walk there

A sudden pang of pain on his back made him bend in pain

Old age was quickly catching up to him, and that was also the main reason he decided to train Naruto now, because even if he thinks it would be best for Naruto to have some world experience with Jiraya, he wouldn't be able to train him later...

"My back..." Tobey Ma*Cough* Hiruzen complained as he used a small healing jutsu, he wasn't too proficient at this, but reducing pain and later having Tsunade help him was still feasible

He looked back at the valley of the end one last time, giving a polite bow to Hashirama's statue before leaving

'I must go on... I still have a legacy to pass ahead' He thought as the imaginary version of adult Naruto with a Hokage hat appeared on his mind, making him smile

'Indeed... A legacy...' He thought as he also saw a faint silhouette of Minato behind the Naruto on his head

Naruto ran to Konoha as quickly as his legs let him

As soon as he got there, he immediately saw Luna, walking in a zombie-like manner with smoke coming out of her head

Tsunade's books do be doing that, I guess

"Luna, are you ok?" He asked in concern, I mean... anyone would or should be concerned about someone walking like a zombie

"Ehh? Naruto? I'm fine... I was just... HAVING A HORRIBLE DAY... studying a bit... what about you? finished your training for today?" She asked back

"Yeah... let's not talk about that, ok?" Naruto said with a bit of fear in his voice

"Heh, scared of old Hiruzen of all people?" Luna almost laughed at his response

"That's not even close to it, I wouldn't be scared of grandpa..." Naruto denied it, of course

"Wait, is that Hiruzen there?" Luna pointed behind Naruto who obviously... didn't react

He is a sensor for God's sake

"Hahaha, so funny, I'm dying of laugher here" Naruto mustered all the sarcasm he could, which was not much, to be honest, and retorted

"..."

"Anyway, have you recovered from that yet?" Luna changed the topic to something more important

"I'm fine now, really... don't worry...

what about you? found that woman you said you would try to find yet?" Naruto asked back

"Not really, the clan is a bit mad I invaded the lab and all, but I'll manage" Luna answered

"What does your clan have to do with you searching for someone?" Naruto asked,

"Right, I forget you don't have to deal with that sometimes

it's like this, I need to find someone, they know who it is, so it will be easier when they help me later, I have no time to search for that woman all day because of those... DAMNED BOOKS... that Tsunade sensei gave me" She explained briefly

Naruto just understood the gist of it, that was: I can't be bothered to find someone, so they will do it for me later

"I see..." Naruto nodded

"Anyway, up for some ramen?" He asked almost immediately after

"Dude, how can you eat so much ramen and never get tired of it?" Luna asked, and even though she asked that she still started walking toward the Ichiraku ramen stand

"Why would I get tired of it?" Naruto asked, confused

"I don't know, people normally get tired of eating the same thing for too long, no?" She asked back

"They do?" That's news to Naruto, he never heard of it before

"..." Luna looked at him with a blank face

"What?" He asked, confused

"Sigh..."

"What?"

*Clang clang clang*

A volley of kunais got reflected by Sasuke's sword as he dodged and weaved between attacks

"From above" Kakashi said, as his clone jumped at Sasuke from, believe it or not, above

Sasuke immediately swipes his sword at the clone, but before it touched he stopped it

and not because of hesitation, he was actually just about to hit a lightning clone, and if he did so... experience told him that it would be SHOCKING

for that, he jumped back and threw a Kunai at the clone, who dispersed harmlessly

"Good job on that one" Kakashi commented by the side, his eye still glued to his book though

weirdly enough, losing the eye that drained his chakra constantly made him stronger... huh, who could have guessed?

*Swish*

Dozens of Kunais and Shurikens made their way toward Sasuke, as he tried his best to not become a porcupine

Sharingan active, his eyes moved at high speed between all of the weapons

Deflected with another Kunai or shuriken, with his sword, dodged, substitution

he did all he could, breathing heavily as he finished, but some scratches still appeared on his face

"I think that's enough for today Sasuke" Kakashi commented as he still didn't take his eye out of his book

not even a change in his breathing, he seemingly didn't even use chakra... that's how it goes, he got accustomed to using the least chakra he could, cause he didn't have much at his disposal

but now that he has a lot of chakra... let's just say he can make a lot more out of it than anyone

"Haaa... haaa... monster..." Sasuke 'complained' as he almost fell down in exhaustion
