Chapter. 18

After bracing myself and making myself presentable in the bathroom, I went to the office. Thankfully, I got the files that Max needed. I was not in a good mood so I tossed those files in his desk and went towards my own desk. Tsk. Tsk. I have to leave this Company soon. I don't want to be in this mess at all.

I felt really bored. So I got up and went to the terrace. What a boring life! Who would have thought that I will transmigrate into a novel? But anyway this life is also good. I have a family now and I am rich and beautiful.

Soon the office hours ended. After going home, I decided to open a small shop of mine. I will give my designs to a manufacturing company and they will make dresses and clothes according to my designs. And I will sell them. This is a lot better than working in the King's Company. Anyways, right now the only thing that I don't lack is money. I have few hundred thousand dollars in my bank account right now. I am not joking. I don't know how am I going to spend this money at all. I don't dare to imagine how much money Rustler might have in his account.

Maybe I should invest in houses? Anyways I can buy a good house in a good location and move out. Anyways, I am big and right now I am working.

So after dinner, we all were just casually chatting in the sitting room.

"Mom, dad. I think I should move out." I said. Suddenly the whole room became silent.

"Why do you want to move out?" My mom said. She looked worried. But dad and Sean looked much calmer.

"I just think I should experience some new things." I said awkwardly. I actually want to buy my own house and live alone with a pet. This was my biggest wish in my world. Now since I have money, I can buy a house and live there comfortably.

"Yes yes. You should experience some new things. Let's do like this. I will accompany you and we will choose a nice house for you." My dad said in a happy voice. Ha. Ha. I have an understanding dad.

"But....." Mom said. "No buts honey. Look at our daughter she is a grown up now. Just let her move out. She is big enough. She can take care of herself now." Dad interrupted mom.

I nodded my head happily. Mom gave a big sign.

"Alright then. Let me accompany you too. I will also be some help to you." She said.

"Okay. We will go tomorrow then." I said. My dad and mom agreed. I hugged them and kissed them on their cheeks. Sean didn't say anything. He just agreed. I happily went to my room to sleep and felt asleep.

Next day I was thinking of taking a leave from the Company, but dad said we can search for houses after my office hours are over. I also agreed. When I reached the Company, I heard that Lily is returning after her punishment.

In the novel, Lily actually liked Rustler too. But Pearl was nice to her and helped her, so she sacrificed her love for Pearl. Now that Lily was not in the office so Pearl couldn't help her and establish a good relation with her. I really don't know what is going to happen now. Anyways whatever happens, I will be enjoying a good drama.

Soon, my office hours finished and I rushed towards the elevator. But since I was in hurry, I crashed with someone.

I hurriedly pulled myself away from that person. But I found that the person I crashed with was Rustler. So the elevator went without me. Argh. Now I have to wait for some time.

I said sorry to Rustler. He nodded.

"Hey, why are you in such a hurry?" He asked with with a dull look.

"I have some work. That is why." I said with an awkward grin.

"Then come I will give you a lift in my elevator." He said gesturing me to come towards his private elevator. Since I was in hurry, I agreed and went inside.

But again, I saw Pearl also entering the private elevator.

I was confused but then again she is the female lead. And Rustler is her would-be-husband. Of course she can use his private elevator. Their relationship is moving forward very fast. I casted a 'oo congo bro for capturing the beauty' look towards Rustler who was standing still in the elevator and smiled brightly at Pearl. She also replied with a dull smile.

Soon we reached the ground floor. As I was in hurry, I left waving them goodbye. I quickly drove towards the location that my dad sent to me.

We looked around for very long time and finally I bought a house. The house that I bought is near my dad's house as well as King's Company. And it is a house with three bedrooms and a kitchen and a living room. The backyard is big with a hot tub swimming. And the area is green and peaceful. I really liked the house. And dad was already prepared with the real estate agent. So the processes were rather quick.

Mom and dad were also very satisfied with the house. After buying, we went to a resturant and I ate mouthful of food. They were very delicious. I chatted with mom and dad and we left after eating.

After reaching home, I bragged about my new house to Sean and he listened to me with a helpless expression. He ruffled my hair and I kicked him. Then he chased after me and I ran teasing him and laughing. Then since it was late, mom shouted at us and we settled our fun battle and went to sleep.
