Chapter 1: The Fall of [Family]

The organization [Father] worked so hard to build collapsed due to a minor mistake.

"Fuck!"

"B-boss!"

"This is not the end, bastards!"

It was about 2 am in the morning when countless police men raided a huge, abandoned building somewhere in Shanghai, China.

News of their successful inflirtation flooded the internet, causing great relief to the people nationwide.

The building turned out to be the main headquarters of the famous organization the governement has been on the hunt for 9 years.

[Family] was an organization famous for human-trafficking.

A group of criminals that tricked homeless, naive children into their side.

They raised them to be monsters.

It was speculated that they have thr backing of a powerful figure that's why the organization was able to escape the grasps of the government for a long period of time.

"Who's helping you?"

[Father] scoffed at the question of the investigator.

"Why did you build [Family]?" The investigator asked again.

"Fuck yourself."

The 48-year-old man laughed crazily at his own word.

The organization [Family] was built with the purpose of giving life to the old man's dream; to have an army of his own.

With a powerful figure backing him up, [Father] was able to safely smuggle homeless children from the neighboring countries of China.

Kids with potential were then trained to become elites in a special centre he built while the 'useless' ones were sold in the black market.

'Finally, I'm fucking freeeeeeee!' Geon Choi.

He ran away from home at the age 14 after having a serious argument with his mother.

He wandered the streets for about 2 days, and came to regret his decision when the man he met who promised to take him home, turned out to be a member of the famous criminal organization [Family].

The young, shallow-minded Geon was smuggled to Shanghai, China.

There, he experienced the life of a slave, something he had never imagined to do just a while ago.

A sheltered brat like him could have never survived in his new environment if it weren't for the [System Window].

"... Is this a glitch?"

•••

[Father] was raised in a a twisted household.

And so, his personality became twisted too.

Growing up, he was often abused by his mentally unstable parents, causing him to adapt the mindset of a damsel in distress.

'I need someone to protect me.'

When he entered college, he met a particular someone who matched the description of the savior he had in mind.

"You see, you need to be powerful to have the right to be protected. If you're not someone important, don't expect good treatment from others. You have to be an elite to own a group of elites yourself. But since you don't possess any of those, much less the potential, I'll become your God and back you up."

"Are you sure that they are the only ones found there?" With irritation visible on his voice, the officer asked his co-worker.

It has been three hours since the organization [Family] fell.

The goverment already captured [Father], its founder.

They are currently out for the head of his allies.

"What are you looking at, you punk?" The officer glared at Geon.

However, the 17-year-old boy didn't even flinch.

"Are you taking us home?" Geon asked the officer which led the latter to scoff in disbelief.

"As far as I'm concerned, you lots..."

"One, two, three, four, five... Six, seven, eight, nine,"

"Were homeless children." The officer stared at Geon and the eight other 'elites' of the fallen organization.

"Do ypu hear yourseld, punk? No one cares if criminals like you die." The 17-year-old boy frowned at the officer's words.

Of course.

He was not that naive to think that the government would easily let them go.

Especially since, these young 'elites' have done a lot of things better off unsaid.

He was just gathering informations.

'But to hell to these kind of people.' Geon cursed in his mind.

"Enough." A man in his early 40s entered the cramped interrogation room.

"These young lads are also victims of [Father] and the organization he built." The man introduced himself as Li Muchen, one of the most influential figures within the millitaries in China.

"B-but, Genera--"

Li Muchen raised his hand in the air, instantly shutting the officer's mouth.

"As someone who holds power within the battlefield, I'm dissapointed in myself for letting an organization such as [Family] ran rampant for 9 years. Look at these young lads here, most of them looks foreighn." Li Muchen sighed.

"I wonder how many lives were killed in that 9 years. They were away from their homes for who knows how long. As one of the people accountable for the [Family]'s recklessness, I shall atleast take the survivors back to their home countries and provide each one of them a house and an education; something they were deprived of when they were in [Family]."

It was the General's way of keeping the former elites on the palm of his hands.

Or so did Geon thought.

The 17-year-old boy found himself sitting in front of his mother.

"And that's what happened, madam." Li Muchen, one of the most influential figures in China-- the honorable man who promised to take back Geon and the other elites of the fallen [Family] back to their home country-- turned out to be just one of his mother's dog.

He's back in Seoul, South Korea.

"Umm... Hi, mother...?"

And so, the top 1 of the fallen organization's elites, couldn't stop trembling under the presence of Choi Sua.

"I finally found you."
