Chapter 1; Fun Or No Fun

Her eyes narrowed.

Confidence consumed her as she sat on a stool in front of the barista and flirtatiously looked at him while playing with her hair.

"Tequila shot please..." She ordered as she rested her elbow on the front bar and waited.

"Anything else, Gorgeous?" The bartender asked her.

She traced his face. Gorgeous to be exact.

With his thick black brows, magnificent eye colour that shines within the light's rays.

His hella fine nose and lips, all in!

She felt heat in her stomach from the alcohol she drank earlier. But she ignored all of this and took another sip of tequila that was in front of her.

"Fucking sexy as hell. mmm?" she mouthed as she traced her eyes to that macho and big biceps of the barista in front of her.

Her gaze dropped from the man's neck to the direction of his belt.

Louise Vuitton. classy! He seemed rich!

That's how she restrained herself from cursing when the barista removed his apron that exposed his big thighs.

And that Bulk in his pants? damn!

The man smirked when he saw how invested the gorgeous lady in front of him stared at his well-built body.

He knows damn well that he's hot! And so he took the chance to lean on the front bar with his arm rested on it and equalized her height.

"Wanna hang out?" He asked. Staring right into her eyes.

She smiled and say, "Sure, your biceps will look good more if you'll use that to my neck."

The man laughed at what she said so he nodded.

"You have a beautiful eyes, wanna experience to roll it with me?" replied the young man and leaned more in front of her.

"Fuck those lines... You know how to flirt well, you're a pro." she said.

"I used to be not. But suddenly I saw you and boom!"

The conversation between the two of them was filled with pick up lines as the noisy bar was abuzz at this time.

Many have almost lost their clothes because of dancing while others are busy having sex on the sofa, in the dark corner of the bar, on the dancefloor, and probably in Cr.

Sca looked around when her the Barista left her for a moment for a quick bathroom break.

From the front bar, she can see the chaotic crowd. As chaotic as the city in the morning. But if she'll had to choose, she would choose the chaotic bar more than the chaotic office of the company she works for almost three years and ended up—Yesterday.

Yesterday because she was already fired by the head 'cause of her dating issue with her CEO who's married to a star.

It ruined her reputation. As the most best selling real estate agent of the company, it somewhat turns out their lost and her's too.

So she agreed. From Sca's mind, it's only fair if she got fired from the company she's working before. Because she's the best when it comes to sales, another thing, Even though her salary is big enough for her living, it still feels unequal because of the fatigue she had been under with by taking care of the paperwork for the buyer's satisfaction.

And considered as her unlucky day whenever there's a rude buyer, or a buyer who likes to change a lot in interior design before buying it outright.

When the Head fired her, she didn't think of what's the consequences after that!

So it's her and the company's lost. Equal!

Realizing that she's thinking of work stuff again, Sca immediately took a deep breath and looked around again.

"Where did that man go? Why is he so long to come back?" she whispered to herself when she still couldn't see the barista she was talking to.

Boredness disappeared from her face when the familiar figure of a man in the distance was reflected from the staff and barista corner.

His lips are closed and he's obviously rude by the way it looks at her.

He was wearing a black fitted top, with piercings in his left ear and left side of his lip. His lush hair is red and his muscles are big too.

His hard chests were making it hard for his fitted top to not tear.

"C-Clifford?"

she bursts into questions.

"What's that Gay doing here and—"

"Let's go to your car? I told our head manager that I'm leaving early tonight, so... let's go?"

the barista asked her who suddenly appeared from nowhere.

"what? why to my car? I mean... don't you have a car?"

She confusingly asked.

The man shook his head and answered. "I don't have—yet! but I will buy my car when I have my money of course, is that even important? I mean, I have my cousin who owns a car and let me use it whenever I need so—"

"Dayf. Sir Cox were calling for you inside. He said you still need to fix something inside." said another barista who also appeared from behind the man.

Irritated, the man turned to the person behind him, "What?! I told him that I'm in urgent! Besides... I was only absent once! Can't he just let me this time?" he complained irritatedly.

another barista smiled softly from behind him and spoke.

"Just go and don't complain ever again, Dayf. Sir Cox might get even more mad at you, aren't you afraid of loosing your job?" his colleague warned him.

"Ugh! Fuck! If only he hadn't replaced Elton, I would be free to do what I want!" he exclaimed.

his jaw clenched and closed in anger.

When he faced the woman again, he smiled and spoke.

"Can I have your number instead? just incase I am free, we can continue this. Just uhm... just a bad day that our gay manager was strict and doesn't want me to leave." Dayf explained.

Sca nodded immediately with a blank face. she carefully took a contact card and handed it to the man in front of him and said.

"Maybe he wants you?" she scoffed.

the man burst into laughter and said. "Nah, it's vague. That gay man's standard is too high, so what you're saying is impossible, Miss."

"Oh, is that so? well... yeah..." she commented.

"Clifford still hasn't changed. That gay guy is still choosy." she said inside her.

"So, yeah? Thanks for this! Miss! See you soon!" Dayf said and immediately run inside leaving Scarlett in unpaintable face.

"Wearing a Louis Vuitton newest design belt but owning no car? The fuck?" She commented.

After paying with the use of American express card, Sca immediately decided to leave the bar because it was late at night.

On her way to her parked mercedes, in the parked luxurious car next to hers, a tall man spoke while walking towards the back of his car.

"Hitting on him? I didn't know that you're Lack of taste in men."

He said and emotionlessly closed the back of the car.

She looked at him and realized the identity of the person who spoke.

A red hair, Piercings on his left ear and left lips. His eyes looked at her without emotion and stared.

"I... I uh... no. We just talked. I have no intention of continuing that." she said lowly.

Scarlet looked away first and smiled.

"Are you his manager?" she asked.

"Why? are you mad because I called him off?" Cox asked the woman coldly.

She immediately shook her head and smiled awkwardly. "no, of course not. I understand."

"So is he your type? tsk. Your life changed but your standards were as low as you are before." Cox Rudely said.

It made the woman to be surprised silently. She didn't speak immediately.

Sca unconsciously grabbed the end of her skirt 'cause of the uncomfortable feeling inside her chest.

Now she is also wondering. Why did she talk to Cox in the first place when he's the number one bully of hers when they were in high school?

She shook her head and took a deep breath. "It's none of your business. And yes, you too. You didn't change, you're still a bully. A bullshit I mean." She said. Firmly looking at his deep eyes.

"Mm. You've got an attitude now. It's real that money changes a person. Anyway, I don't give a shit for you or Dayf. But I just want to say don't try to grow your connection with Dayf anymore." Cox said straight as he walked towards the door of the driver's seat.

Sca kept her head down quietly. She was feeling so wrong. Cox never failed to make her feel uncomfortable since they've met fifteen years ago.

She doesn't know what kind of problem Cox has with her. Because every time Cox sees her, Cox doesn't miss the opportunity to make her feel that she has lived wrongly.

"You will only mess with Dayf's mind that will result in multiple absences. I don't want to deal with any shit you've caused." Cox said and immediately started the engine.
