Chapter four

                Thanatos P.O.V

   I left the HQ for the elites and retrieved my pure black horse that is able to run faster and longer than regular horses. I named him striker after my pet goldfish that died when the house got crushed.

        Time skip cause I am lazy

    I arrived at the gates to the training camp and saw the trainees all lined up by rows so I walked pass them and headed to instructor Shadis and said "Elite Company Leader Yeager reporting for duty!" "Maggots! This will be my assistant instructor he will be helping me train you Maggots!" Instructor Shadis barked The Trainee's looked at me and shouted "Yes Sir!" Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Eren,Mikasa,and Armin looking surprised and happy.

"Alright! I am Instructor Yeager! I am here to train you Newbie wanna be military into Titian Slaying Machines!"

Time skip to the day after graduation

I was just sitting down doing my final report on the now graduated recruits, when suddenly I heard a loud *BOOM* in the background followed by a loud siren. I quickly jerked my head up towards the door when I heard the sirens.

    *Bam* suddenly my door flew open and a messenger soldier rushed in before stating "The colossal Titian has kicked a hole into Trost District allowing Titian's inside! You are the highest ranking Officer on site! What are your orders!"  "Gather every military member in the middle of the camp, And send a 10 man squad of veteran soldiers to the hole to stall the Titian's so the civilians have more time to evacuate!" I commanded the messenger "YES SIR!" He salutes then runs off to complete my orders.

    Since when was I the highest rank in the camp? Oh! Now I remember all the higher ranks left to the inner parts of wall Rose to discuss the financial situations of their Regiments. Due to this inconvenience I now have to command a group of newly trained soldiers along with some veteran soldiers who never fought a Titian in their life.

Now I believe I have given enough time for the soldiers to gather into the middle so I got up and made my way for the door. Opening the door I walked out and started jogging for the middle of the camp where I told the messenger to gather the soldiers. The reason why I chose the middle is not only because of the open space. Their is a wooden stage their that I can use to address the troops.

   Arriving their I see a Battalion Of 100 soldiers all lined up with twenty-five soldiers across and four rows down. I felt a slight pride in being able to have the authority to command this many soldiers.

     "LISTEN UP! Their is a Titian horde entering Trost as we speak! So let's keep it short! I want twenty-five people as the vanguard,twenty-five people as the middle guard,and I want twenty-five people as the rear guard protecting the evacuating civilians! The remaining twenty-five people will be with me! Now Go!" I Commanded

All but twenty-five soldiers left including Eren's group. The remaining twenty-five were in one row facing me waiting for their orders. "Alright men" I say calmly while walking towards them "We are going to be the back-up for the seventy-five soldiers who left. Except we won't wait for them to request back-up. While they spread out we will be working as one unit. We will NOT spread out! We will stick together and fight as one!" I said in a commanding voice "YES SIR!" The soldiers screamed passionately.

I started to head towards the wall followed by my platoon of soon to be Professional Titian slayers. We arrived on top of the wall near the exit where the civilians are supposed to evacuate. Standing their with my troops beside my side watching people evacuate made me feel like I am the guardian of humanity and not the god of death.

Down below we noticed a merchant blocking the exit way with a giant cart that won't fit and we're about to go down their to order him to leave the cart here. When suddenly an abnormal Titian was sighted running towards the civilians. "Squad one take that Titian out!" I ordered (their are two squads in my platoon squad one has 13 soldiers and squad two has twelve soldiers)

Without saying a word Squad one launched off the wall towards the Titian, but before they could get close enough to it to kill the Titian it had suddenly fallen. We looked behind the Titian to see who killed it and we saw....MIKASA! Seeing her still alive made me a little happy. However now isn't the time to chat so me and my platoon (squad one included) left believing that she would fix the problem with the merchant and his big cart.
