Chapter 1

I was standing by the road side waiting for a cab to board down to my new work place when a black shiny Mercedes Benz had stopped by my side.Like every other person I should have declined but I really needed this job and forgetting today is sanitation,cab are hardly seen due to the observation of sanitation so I had no choice. As we drove by the man in his forties was steering at me until mistakenly he hits his head on the stirring of the car. "Sorry sir I hope you are alright" I asked but he pulled backwards and said it was okay.The rest of the ride went fine until I dropped at the company's gate. " Thanks" I told him and we steered at each other for a while as if I had said something wrong. "Your name" he asked "Dorothy " I said shortly not wanting much conversation and he drove off.It was when I got to the gate I remembered I didn't ask for his name .
