The AC was on full mode but still the air in the room was bit like chilled and suffocating as if an unknown force bending you according to his need hard on ground averting the courage into an endless pool of fears, sorrow and sadness, my neurons seems to be awaken alerting my brain to ran as far as possible.

The other party were sitting on the opposite side of the Table and we were(Lan's) on these side of the table, both the Elder's and our pa's were looking straight in their eyes as a challenge to fall back, to be dominant.... Thanks to the office boy who came in to serve the tea and broke the concentrated yet deadly silence in the room but the next thing happened was a shock to us audience (Yes, including me) .

Four of them started laughing and their laughter filled the silence converting into a cheerful ambiance ,I was looking at them with an bewildered expression like they have loose a screw in their butt,here I was fidgeting and freaking inside by the meeting and my plans of escape were loosing their chance of survival but after looking at those 90 passed over idiot old mans that were laughing like a maniac in love my anger rose, my chain of thoughts broke when Grandpa Lee

I don't know if they were praising each other, taunting or critizing, but purely it reflects the chemistry they once share in their childhood as best friends.

My dad and uncle Lewis are not that of a friend but they are not enemy also but aunt li and Aunty are one hell of a best friends...they were inseparable.

After feels like hour my eyes showed a glimpse of victory my plan worked and anyhow I can save myself by these forced marriage.I can fulfill my dream and also to my freedom.

I have already done my homework the flight is late by 2 hrs so it's impossible to be here inexplicably the situation were under my control , I was all set and ready to act as pitiful maiden whose husband ran away on the day of marriage so that I escape from here as fast as possible

I was busy gathering my things when I heard a creak sound followed by opening and closing of the door, the sounds of his well polished shoes were reverberating in the hall imposing his daunting presence.His each step were emanating power and authority just like dictator claiming his kingship.The dark and dangerous aura he carries is enough to subjugate and frightening the person infront.

His eyes were as sharp and piercing as eagle prying over it's prey more of scary and ghoulish.

There was a pin drop silence in the room all of them were sitting with wide eyes and mouth agape like they had just seen a ghost in the room but suddenly all of them stand up and bow down to him showing their respect to him leaving his and her families.
