As the Guardians and the allied Doom Syndicate prepared for their next move, Tetra announced she was going to confront Terra for more information. Just before she left, OLX poured out his thoughts on the Curtechyians and the source of his abilities to Tetra.
"All my life, I've been trying to understand the very source of my abilities, the missing piece of it all, not until this very moment you enlightened me, Tetra," OLX said, his voice filled with compassion. "It brings back memories, like I was chosen by these abilities, stunned by an unprecedented shockwave during my encounter with it in my lab."
He paused, a grateful smile forming on his lips. "Thank you for bringing this to my awareness, Tetra. But I hope you weren't holding back on me during our races," he added playfully, attempting to lighten the mood.
Gracefully levitating before him, Tetra replied, "I have never held back in all our races, OLX, but you have. Despite having a fraction of their powers, you were chosen to inherit its mantle." With that, she took off.
"Really! That was your burning question, more important than the race competition?" Vox said with disappointment, looking at OLX, who returned the gaze with a grumpy expression.
"I see why speedsters are obsessed with speed, especially Madmat, who never stops flaunting how fast he is as payback for our past encounters," Vox muttered, shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Tetra swiftly surveyed the entire world before engaging with Terra face to face. Terra had just finished brutally killing and beheading several Kaijus, including Godzilla, whose body was ripped in half, leaving the ocean covered with blood and guts. Tetra spotted the weakened Terra in midair, struggling to catch her breath. A faint smile graced Terra's lips at the sight of Tetra, but she passed out shortly after. Tetra swiftly caught her and took her to the Guardians of Earth headquarters.
Not long after a brief rest and recovery, Terra regained her strength and was stunned to see the heroes and allied villains together. Among them, she spotted and recognized Zipporah, who frowned at the sight of Terra. Soon after, Tetra presented herself to Terra, who was happy to see her, and they hugged each other warmly.
Terra's expression then changed to seriousness as she informed Tetra of the Empire's plot against Earth. "Then you know what must be done, Tetra. These allies of yours won't be enough to stop the Empire," said Terra. "What you did to the Empire pierced their hearts with grief and hatred towards you. Your sister and her son are leading the invasion," she added.
"If only there were more Tetronians on Earth like us, it would give us a fighting chance. It won't be easy to persuade the rest. Time is short, Tetra, and we need to act fast," said Terra.
Hearing this, Vox voiced his opinion about his encounter with a young hero in the past, catching the attention of the Guardians and Zipporah. The heroes and the allied Doom Syndicate turned their focus to Vox.
"What? Did I say something bad? I mean, the youngster was pretty tough to hold his own against Zipporah as well, and he has the emblem 'T' on his chest just like Tetra's," said Vox, suggesting the young hero might be of help. He was shocked to see everyone staring at him. "Isn't he one of you? If not, maybe we can try to reach out to him for his aid."
Based on Vox's description, Tetra recognized the young hero as her son. Terra, hearing this, questioned if there was indeed another Tetronian on Earth. The room fell silent, and Tetra's facial expressions betrayed her secret. Terra, observing her closely, realized that Tetra had a son on Earth with a human.
"Tetra," Terra called out calmly. Tetra, avoiding her gaze, turned away. Just as Terra was about to speak again, Tetra cut her off. "I don't want my son involved because of my past mistakes," she insisted. "He's not ready, and I'll do anything to keep him safe."
Teknight stepped forward, his voice firm yet understanding. "You won't always be there for Mark. He is ready to face the inevitable. If you keep protecting him and hiding the truth, he'll never learn to make his own decisions. Shielding him from the world will only lead to greater mistakes."
Tetra sighed deeply, her resolve wavering. "How long has Mark been playing hero behind my back?" she asked, her voice tinged with resignation.
"Mark is on probation for now," Teknight replied, his tone steady.
Terra stepped closer, her expression earnest. "Tetra, I know it's hard, but we need him. We need your son to help us fight against the Empire."
"We need to rally whatever forces we can," Teknight interjected. "We must find those who are willing to stand with us, even if they are hidden or in disguise. We need to make contact with potential allies across the globe."
"I know of a few Tetronians who may still harbor loyalty to us," said Tetra. "But reaching them will be a challenge. We'll need to spread out and gather them quickly."
OLX stepped forward. "With the knowledge of our abilities and the Xentrinite, Tetrenite, and Tetrenium resources, we can create powerful defenses and weapons. But we need time and coordination."
"Time is the one thing we don't have," Terra replied. "We need to act now."
"Then let's not waste another moment," Teknight said. "Everyone, prepare for deployment. We divide into teams and cover as much ground as possible."
As the heroes and villains prepared for their mission, Tetra turned to Terra. "We'll find a way to stop them. Together, we can protect this world."
Terra nodded. "Let's hope we're not too late."
Meanwhile, in the distant reaches of a planet under Tetronian control, Tetramand paced anxiously. He was deeply uneasy and increasingly worried about the delay in reports from Tetraband. Anger and frustration gnawed at him; he knew something was amiss. His agitation did not go unnoticed by Mother Tetora, who intervened to calm his rage, preventing him from going to Earth to unleash chaos.
Mother Tetora, convinced that Terra had betrayed them and eliminated Tetraband, had devised a new strategy. She outlined her plan to Tetramand: they would send Tetroid to Earth as a warning. Humanity would have to comply and surrender, or face Tetroid's extreme force.
Tetroid listened intently to Mother Tetora's orders, his eyes burning with determination and a thirst for vengeance. Without delay, he set off for Earth, fully committed to his mission. As Tetroid departed, Tetramand voiced his concerns, questioning whether it was too soon to send Tetroid, who was meant to be their last resort.
Mother Tetora responded firmly, "You are our last resort for rebuilding the empire Tetramand. The time will come for you to show your strength."
Meanwhile, at Vill-City High School, Mark's relationship with Amanda had grown stronger, forging a deep bond of trust. The trio of Mark McCoy, Amanda, and Mark Junior became the talk of the school, their unity so formidable that even the bullies dared not challenge them.
Across the bustling city, a sudden cataclysm struck. Tetroid crashed into the heart of Vill-City with tremendous force, shattering the surroundings and pulling tall buildings and skyscrapers to the ground. The impact created a massive shockwave, leaving a gaping hole in the center of the city. Vehicles, buildings, and innocent civilians were swallowed by the chasm.
Upon impact, his arrival on Earth had already disrupted and heavily damaged most of the planetary satellites beyond repair.Rising from the ashes of the ruined landscape, Tetroid unleashed a devastating beam from his eyes, further ravaging the city and cutting through victims with merciless precision. As the chaos unfolded, Tetroid took to the sky, poised to continue his assault with relentless fury.
The unfolding crisis prompted immediate government intervention, but their firepower proved futile against Tetroid's relentless onslaught and massacre. Meanwhile, the Guardians of Earth and the allied Doom Syndicate were alerted by the Tek-computer. Stunned by the visuals on the Tek-monitor, they saw the devastation that had erupted with little warning.
"Tetroid," Terra and Tetra whispered in unison, their voices barely audible.
The heroes and their allies swiftly mobilized, receiving continuous updates from Terra and Tetra on how to defeat Tetroid. Terra explained that Tetroid was a living cyborg, a fusion of Tetronian technology and DNA, capable of adapting to any situation and possessing the fighting skills and knowledge of every Tetronian and extraterrestrial race it had encountered.
"It is not invincible," Tetra added, "but defeating it permanently will be extremely difficult, even for the most powerful species in the galaxy. Tetroid was designed to withstand any threat, known or unknown. The only way to destroy Tetroid is by targeting its core, which moves around its inner structure constantly."
"Additionally," Terra continued, "Tetroid possesses Xentrocurnia-prime tech, a small orb that amplifies its properties. Once released, this orb acts as an impenetrable defense and offensive mechanism, making Tetroid nearly untouchable. It was always a last resort for our kind, meant to fully inherit all our abilities when the Tetronian race and her empire are no more."
"Then we will shut it down completely," Teknight declared confidently. "As long as it is made with technology, we can handle it."
As they arrived at the gruesome scene, they found Tetroid hovering midair, unleashing beams upon the city. To get his attention, Teknight fired Tetrenite missiles, which barely stunned Tetroid but succeeded in redirecting his focus toward them. Approaching swiftly from above, Tetroid turned to face the protectors of Earth, his gaze hardening at the sight of Tetra and Terra.
"You have three choices," Tetroid intoned, his voice a mixture of alien and cybernetic tones. "Surrender yourselves, your world, and the betrayers of the empire for a swift, albeit painful demise, or face extreme prejudice from the empire. What say you, earthlings?"
"I say, get the hell out of my planet," Teknight replied confidently. He unleashed numerous devastating Tetrenite bombs at Tetroid, who stood unfazed by the impact. As the smoke cleared, Tetroid retaliated with his beams, scattering the heroes as they engaged in fierce combat.
Tetra and Terra flew swiftly, delivering a massive punch at Tetroid, but he caught their fists simultaneously in midair, creating a shockwave and tossing them aside effortlessly. While simultaneously countering the blind attacks of Zipporah, Mimic, and Vox, Tetroid unleashed a powerful blast from his body, stunning them and sending them flying aside. The sheer force of the impact left the rest of the heroes scrambling to shield themselves. Seeing this, OLX used his immense speed to create a dust cloud, blinding Tetroid's view while launching a barrage of attacks. Supreme followed with a powerful blast from his eyes, stunning Tetroid and forcing him to shield himself from the onslaught.
Nature swiftly summoned vines from beneath Tetroid, attempting to pull him down. As Tetroid struggled midair, Nature and Thunder Bolt summoned tremendous lightning from the darkened sky, striking Tetroid and giving Nature the opportunity to pull him down with a massive impact.
As the smoke cleared, Tetroid resurfaced. Just as he was about to launch himself into the atmosphere, Green unleashed his matter manipulation, shattering Tetroid effortlessly. The broken pieces, along with his alien cells, fell to the ground alongside his core. Summoning the core to his aid, Tetroid reactivated his shattered remains. The pieces reattached swiftly, renewing his body. Once reformed, Tetroid activated his super speed, catching the heroes off balance.
As the heroes and the allied Doom Syndicate regrouped, Green unleashed his matter manipulation once again, reducing Tetroid to subatomic particles before attempting to turn him into nothingness. However, to their surprise, Tetroid's core remained unharmed and began to be absorbed into the orb of the Xentrocurnia-prime tech, which spun faster with every attempt by Green to manipulate it.
Mimic stepped forward to assist Green, and Zipporah joined them, harnessing their combined powers. Zipporah used her telekinesis to try to slow down or stop the rapidly spinning orb, while Green and Mimic focused their matter manipulative abilities on destroying it. Despite their combined efforts, the orb remained impervious.
Realizing the need for a different approach, Green and Mimic exchanged a knowing look. They channeled their reality-warping powers together, gradually erasing the spinning orb from existence. As it began to disappear, the heroes watched in stunned silence. Terra seemed hopeful, but Tetra remained uneasy, sensing that the victory was too easy.
Her instincts proved correct. Reality shattered like glass, revealing Tetroid's true form. He resurfaced with a powerful shockwave that reverberated globally, causing catastrophic climate changes. Rivers turned into hurricanes, tsunamis and tornadoes ravaged the land, planes and satellites crashed down from the sky, buildings crumbled, and electronic devices malfunctioned.
The massive shockwave scattered the heroes, its force felt across the world. In Vill-City High School, the impact caused significant collateral damage, splitting the school premises in half. Mark McCoy, Amanda, and Mark Junior were caught in the chaos as the building crumbled around them.
Determined to protect his loved ones, Mark McCoy shouted, "Amanda, Mark, stay close to me!" In that moment of desperation, an unknown power surged within him, creating a protective barrier around the collapsing school premises. The miraculous shield stunned everyone as they watched in awe, seeing debris harmlessly bounce off the barrier. Chaos ensued, but within the protective dome, there was safety. Mark Junior and Amanda, equally astonished, realized the crowd's amazement was directed at Mark McCoy, whose hidden abilities had been unveiled for the first time.
