Short and Simple: The octagram are bored as usual from all the peace. Even though it is enjoyable, they miss the thrill of everything. So they decide to travel the multiverse. Even going as far as to travel outside of their multiverse. What kind of trouble will this troublesome group get themselves in? Only time will tell.
(This story is being made so as somewhat like filler. Because I am running on empty, I have ideas for my other story but I have all these ideas but they are so OP but to early for them to be in. So the story to me just feels rushed to get to massive levels of power. I decided I am going to rework it and make massive changes in which I still plan to make go through what I did for the first chapter up to Walpurgis to play out the same. Just need some changes after that. So there is that. Peace ✌️)
(Chapter Starts: Third Person POV:)
Our scene begins in the strongest country to exist in the Cardinal World.
The monster nation of Tempest.
In Tempest, there exists a newly built castle for their leader.
The King of Monsters
The Chaos Creator
Rimuru Tempest.
The one being in the world who even managed to surpass the dragon god who created their world. The one who now stands at his place as the strongest.
At the castle, there is a balcony facing the monster nation. At that balcony was what looked like a woman. With long and shiny blue hair. Very feminine features and golden eyes that can sear through your very soul.
That was Rimuru Tempest.
Rimuru used to be a human in his past life. But he died. Some might say, he didn't deserve to die and should not have. But his death and rebirth is what saved the very multiverse.
It has been millennia since the Great Tenma War has ended. Many residents of Tempest have died from the passage of time. Not including the Goblin King Rigurd, The captain and co-captains of the goblin riders, Gobta and Rigur.
They would have died from old age without Rimurus intervention, but they wished to serve their master until he got tired of them. So he gave them their wish and bestowed ageless immortality upon them.
It was safe to say, during all these years, Rimuru has not gotten tired of one of them. But here on the balcony of his castle, he looks down on Tempest with a bored face.
Was he bored of Tempest as a whole? He raised this nation up from the beginning.
But no. He was not tired of them.
So why was he looking down on them with a scowl?
Simple.
He was bored.
The King of Tempest was bored. Usually he would go out for drinks or hangout with his allies. But he got tired of that soon. Those were more human activities to do back on his home world. But soon after doing the same routine, including all his kingly duties... he got tired of it. He basically cast his human nature aside and embraced what he was supposed to be in this world.
A Monster.
But this is what he worked so hard for. A peaceful world. He achieved that, but at some point... everything has to has to expire.
Including his love for peace.
'Ciel? Is there anything fun we can do?' Rimuru asked his trusty partner. The being who is responsible for the amount of power he has to this day.
Manas: Ciel
She resides within Rimurus soul meaning she lacks a physical body. Residing within Rimurus soul means that she was born from it. As Rimuru evolved and got stronger... so did she. You can say she was born from Rimurus innermost desires.
{Master has been like this for centuries. Does master not enjoy being a king or god?} Ciel asked, seemingly teasing the godly slime.
'It is not that. But... everything has gone dull. I need some new kind of excitement.' Rimuru responded with closed eyes. He rested his chin on the railing to the balcony.
{Then I have a great idea for master.} Ciel said.
'What is it?' Rimuru asked, still in same position as earlier.
{Master can travel to another world. And to make things more fun, you can bring along some friends to make things more interesting.} Ciel said, causing Rimuru to open his eyes. He is wondering why he never thought of this himself.
'Thats a great idea! Why have I not thought of this before?! Thank you Ciel, I knew I could count on you!" Rimuru shouted in happiness.
This was the first time he was out of this rut. For the first time in centuries, Rimuru found interest in something again.
"Diablo." Rimuru said aloud.
In an instant, a man dressed completely in a black butler uniform appeared from thin air.
This was Diablo. One of the oldest entities in the multiverse and Rimurus strongest subordinate.
"Yes, Rimuru-sama?" Diablo question his master. Wondering what he called him for.
"Go get Ramiris and Dino to agree to a Walpurgis." He ordered.
"Yes master." Diablo promptly said before departing. Not once questioning his masters intentions for this order. As questioning his masters intentions is an act that courts you worse than death.
Not even 10 minutes after being ordered, Diablo has returned to the balcony his master was at.
"Rimuru-sama, both Ramiris-sama and Dino-sama have agreed to the Walpurgis request. The Walpurgis will be held, 4 days from now." Diablo said as he kneeled back to the ground.
"Excellent, good work Diablo. I will have to apologize to you, but you cannot attend Walpurgis with me. I have to go alone this time." Upon hearing these words, Diablo could not help but to smile in joy and sadness. This was the first time in centuries that he has even seen his master smile. At first he figured that someone caused his smile to fade and was already thinking of ways to torture that person. But he was also sad because he could not accompany his master.
"Understood Rimuru-sama." Diablo said before departing once more.
"This is so exciting! I cant wait!" Rimuru said aloud. He could not wait to experience a new form of joy.
4 Days Later:
The day for Walpurgis to convene has arrived.
He was currently resting inside his castle with no-one else around.
Or... that is what Rimuru would have liked. But on the couch across from him... was his troublesome friend and brother, Veldora Tempest, reading a manga.
Sometime after the war against the angels and the destruction of Ivaraj, all of the True Dragon began to consider Rimuru as their little brother, coming in for a total of 6 True Dragons with the birth of Earth Dragon Velgaia.
"Veldora... what are you doing?" Rimuru asked Veldora with a hint of irritation in his voice. Veldora looked up from his manga and answered Rimuru.
"Hm? I am going with you to Walpurgis." Veldora said casually.
"No your not. Besides the limit for attendants are two for each member. " Rimuru replied bluntly.
"But you and Guy had that bet when you guys fought once. If you won, you got to bring as many attendants you want to Walpurgis." Veldora said. Rimuru was shocked because he could not believe Veldora was able to remember that. With that display of his memory, Rimuru reluctantly let Veldora come along, signifying that with a sigh.
But not long after, a demonic gate spewing a evil aura appeared right behind the couch Veldora was on. The doors slowly opened, revealing a green haired maid. This was Misery, a primordial demon in service to demon lord Guy Crimson.
"I am here to guide you to Walpurgis, Rimuru-sama."
"Nice timing, is everyone there already?" Rimuru questioned the maid.
"Yes, if fact Guy-sama requested us to retrieve you last." Misery said in a flat tone. Rimuru remained calm but had gotten a bit irritated.
"Alright lets go." Rimuru said, causing Veldora to store his manga away and follow Rimuru.
The duo plus the maid, have entered the gate and departed from the nation of monsters.
Entering Walpurgis:
The group of four have entered the venue for the meeting. But promptly, he was greeted by his fellow demon lords.
"Yo, Rimuru! You got some nerve to disturb me like this." Guy Crimson greeted.
"Bestie!" Demon Lord Milim Nava shouted to Rimuru as she flew up to hug him.
"Hello everybody."
The rest simply nodded at his entrance, but they were surprised that he of all people called a Walpurgis. But deep down that struck fear into their souls. They were thinking of a being that could somehow match Rimuru blow for blow.
"Well, since we are all here, I hereby deem this Walpurgis convened!" This was new. Rimuru seemed happy and excited. During the years some of them visited Tempest frequently and rarely even saw Rimuru. And when they did he was always depressed. And seemingly not interested in what they had to say.
"Alright, now the reason I have called this Walpurgis is because... well... haven't all of you been bored?" Rimuru asked the group of demon lords before him.
"I can agree with that, yes." Demon Lord Guy answered. The other demon lords nodded their heads in agreement with the crimson demons words.
"Well then, why don't we go to another world? It would be a fun experience for us!" Rimuru said as he addressed his friends.
"Rimuru... as much as I want to do that, about all of us have responsibilities." Demon Lord Luminous responded.
"For once I have to agree with her, hell my territory has gotten back on track and you want to go to another world." Dagruel said.
"Come on. I called this Walpurgis because I thought it might be a great escape from our responsibilities. I mean we all have someone to delegate those jobs to." Rimuru had a point. Besides Guy, Dino and Ramiris, everyone else had people they could trust to takeover while they are gone.
"You make a fair point." Demon Lord Leon said.
"You are lucky I want a break too, newbie." Luminous was now on board.
"Count me in! Frey keeps forcing me to work! I need time off!" Milim shouted. Everyone else just nodded in agreement to Rimurus plan. He was excited that he could spend this time with his close friends in a new experience.
"But firstly, Guy?" Rimuru questioned.
"What is it?"
"Would you like to bring Velzard along?" Rimuru asked with a smile.
"Well she would be pissed at me if I left her out of something interesting. So sure."
"If we do, we might have to bring Velgrynd too. She would not let us hear the end of it either and where she wants to go, Masayuki does too." Rimuru sighed as he muttered to himself, 'so many people.'
"I guess yeah." Guy responded. In that moment, Rimuru opened up something similar to a group chat with him, Velzard, Velgrynd and Masayuki.
(Hello there sisters and brother-in-law.) Rimuru said casually. The dragon sisters were surprised to be hearing from their little brother after so long. They even believed he grew to hate them.
(Rimuru? Is that you?) Velgrynd questioned.
(It is great to see you back to normal little brother.) Velzard had greeted. However Masayuki just stayed quiet in this group chat.
(I have contacted you to offer you the chance to join the demon lords and Veldora into traveling into another world.)
(Another world? That may prove interesting. Count me in.) Velzard quickly decided.
(As much as it pains me to agree, I would like to join as well. Plus it would be nice to see Veldora again.) Velgrynd said.
(I guess I have to go with Velgrynd. She won't leave without me anyways, hehe.) Masayuki said, but Rimuru could tell that there was pain behind that laugh.
(Alright, just stay where you are. Once we begin traveling, you will be pulled in with us.) Rimuru said as he then, disconnected the four of them. With that brought to an end, Rimuru turned back to his dear friends.
"So Rimuru, what kind of world do you have in mind?" Demon Lord Dagruel asked. To the question Rimuru simply smirked.
"You will see when we get there. Everyone, ready?" Rimuru asked.
"You are lucky my subordinates know what do if I don't return." Luminous said.
"Same here, they are trained if I don't return within a month. But if they have not felt any kind of damage then there is no worries." Dagruel said.
"Mine as well, without the damage felt though." Leon said.
"Alright! Let us depart!" Rimuru shouted. As he raised his hand forward, towards the other demon lords.
"[Trill]!" Rimuru used a spell he created in which can transport any select number of targets in the multiverse to any coordinates in the multiverse.
A bluish and gold light began to envelop the demon lords. The same phenomenon began to occur in the empire around both Masayuki and Velgrynd as well as Velzard.
"Once we arrive, the information of the world as well as languages will be given to you." Rimuru said, without having to open up the thought channel, even those who were not present heard him.
The light glowing around them began to glow brighter and brighter. A beam of radiant light shined down from the heavens onto them.
The beam struck them for 20 seconds before fading away into nothingness.
The demon lords as well as the true dragons.
The strongest beings have officially disappeared from the face of the world.
