Tensura: That time I got reincarnated early

ISEKAI IS NOT AN OVERSATURATED GENRE... (Warning: If you don't like female leads, don't read this.) … is what one Tensura fanatic believes. Gin, out main character, is a kid who loves world building and lore in fantasy worlds. What could go wrong with a new addition to the story making changes in the background before the story even begins? Gin reincarnates into the Tensura world a little more than 2000 years early so to make changes to the lore behind the world before Rimuru arrives. Follow the story as Gin makes changes in the background that seem small to the world, but can end up changing the entire story I am writing just for fun Feedback would still be wonderful Updates will probably be irregular There will be spoilers for those who only watched the anime I do not own That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or the cover picture. Everything belongs to their respective creators. (Warning 2: There will be temporary Genderbend so if you don't like girls, don't read this.)

Chapter 26: Brilliant Light

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks for reading my novel! I've had a lot of fun writing so far.

If you like my story and want to support me, I'm creating a Patreon. Right now, I'm just asking for pledges, but I might change things up a little once things get going.

Also, I decided to make two shorter chapters instead of one longer chapter so that its a little easier to space the time skips. I think the next few chapters will be like this as well.

--------------------

After the Walpurgis meeting, Velgin decided to visit Ramiris's labyrinth once again.

She didn't have any specific business there, but decided that it might be nice to see the baby dragons, as well as possibly get a greater light spirit, which would greatly boost her strength.

At the labyrinth, Velgin easily snuck by the maze, but was surprised during the boss battle. It wasn't because the boss was too difficult for her. She was able to defeat the boss in only 3 casual attacks.

Instead, it was because for some reason, Zeldris was here, acting as the boss.

Zeldris had explained that he got bored, and had already mastered Martial Arts with the help of [Ares], but wasn't allowed back home because Emilia said he was too much of a troublemaker, so he came here.

Instead of being mad at Emilia, Velgin actually nodded her head in agreement, shocking Zeldris and making him pose as if lightning had struck him.

Ignoring him and moving further into the Labyrinth, Velgin met with Ramiris and Milim.

Milim had left Gaia inside the Labyrinth since she was away, and was not picking him up again. But both Gaia and Lin were still sleeping, cuddling in what looked like a larger bird's nest. The two dragons were releasing a much stronger aura, already matching that of a weaker awakened True Demon Lord at a Low S class, but hadn't become True Dragons yet. Their size also didn't change by much, as they were still only the size of a pet dog in Velgin's previous life.

But what amazed her was when she analyzed the two dragons, they actually had a second form, similar to her [Destruction Mode], which allowed them to transform into a large dragon, the around the size of a Dragon King.

Moving on from the sleeping Dragons, Velgin ditched the others and went to the dwelling of spirits on the bottom floor. The place looked the exact same as in the Anime, being a circular room with a platform in the middle.

Velgin didn't know what she was expecting, but the moment she stepped up the stairs and onto the platform to pray to the spirits, two greater spirits appeared, offering to stay with her.

With a happy smile, Velgin gladly agreed, taking them into her Inventory to analyze.

The two spirits, when not in their glowing light form, were spirits that had the attributes of Holy and Light respectively. The Holy spirit was in the shape of a small golden harp the size of a human head. The Light spirit, on the other hand, was in the form of a shining white butterfly. Velgin, with her amazing naming sense, decided to name them Harpy and Butter.

As she did this, inside her Inventory, the two Greater Spirits evolved, advancing into an Elemental Lord, the same rank as an Archdemon and Archangel.

The moment Velgin integrated the Angels with her body, she started to glow with the white light of evolution. But this greatly confused her and she was wondering why she was evolving.

After glowing for a few minutes, Velgin realized that this glow wasn't the glow of evolution, but something else entirely.

The glow was her attribute, Brilliant Light, evolving, rather than her body.

Teleporting to her home in the Dragon Kingdom, Velgin meditated on top of her glowing palace, basking in the energy of the sun, and feeling her evolution take place.

The combination of all the forces she could feel: sun, gravity, nature, light, heat. Velgin was able to feel everything around her very vividly, and this amazed her.

After a full month of evolution, which greatly disturbed the surrounding area since the light made the night sky greatly illuminated for the surrounding area, Velgin finally felt her change stopping.

Analyzing herself, her attribute was still called Brilliant Light, but it powered up. Her EP Value also increased, rising to 55 Million, catching up to that of Guy's and the other True Dragons.

Excited about her change, Velgin informed Emilia that she would be spending the next little while practicing and refining her Brilliant Light.

And so, many more years had passed.
