Tensura: That time I got reincarnated early

ISEKAI IS NOT AN OVERSATURATED GENRE... (Warning: If you don't like female leads, don't read this.) … is what one Tensura fanatic believes. Gin, out main character, is a kid who loves world building and lore in fantasy worlds. What could go wrong with a new addition to the story making changes in the background before the story even begins? Gin reincarnates into the Tensura world a little more than 2000 years early so to make changes to the lore behind the world before Rimuru arrives. Follow the story as Gin makes changes in the background that seem small to the world, but can end up changing the entire story I am writing just for fun Feedback would still be wonderful Updates will probably be irregular There will be spoilers for those who only watched the anime I do not own That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or the cover picture. Everything belongs to their respective creators. (Warning 2: There will be temporary Genderbend so if you don't like girls, don't read this.)

Chapter 18: New Friends

--(General human POV)--

"Finally! This nightmare is over!"

"My home. Its gone."

"What's the kingdom's army doing?"

"Why didn't they save us?"

'These angels came out of nowhere and destroyed our city. I hear it happened to many others as well. Who sent them? Did God want to destroy the world?'

Over the past week, angels came and attacked many human settlements in the western countries. But when this happened, the Elves in the south west weren't attacked, but instead protected with the holy light of the heavens.

The crowd thought that the Elves must have had divine protection, and were gossiping about the news while crowding outside the King's castle.

Their King had not done anything to help the people, and instead stayed safe inside his palace during the whole affair.

But finally, noticing that their king had come out of the partially destroyed castle, the people lined up on the streets.

"Hear yee hear yee. Angels have attacked, but we have successfully defended our country. We must attack those elven heretics who sent those angels at us." The fat arrogant king shouted into the crowd.

"BOOOO!!!!"

"YOU DIDN'T PROTECT US!!!"

"WE NEED TO REBUILD'

As the wild crowd was throwing can and food at the king, a messenger arrived on horse in front of the king and crowd.

"BAD NEW! A new council of Demon Lords are meeting. They're made up of the strongest beings who were able to stand against the angels." The messenger said.

"Then we will attack the elves to show them that we are stronger!" The king said, not understanding that his army wasn't omnipotent.

"BOO!!!!"

"HISS!!"

Even the knights were shocked at how stupid the king was, and they looked around at each other and nodded.

At that moment, a knight behind the King snuck up at stabbed his sword through the King's heart, instantly killing him.

*GASP*

The crowd was shocked at what they saw, but started cheering once again.

"Everyone! My name is Blumund, and I think we all agree that we must defend our boarders from future attacks. Please listen to our instructions so we can all stay safe!" the knight said.

And thus forth, the Kingdom of Blumund was born.

--(Velgin POV)--

After Velgin had informed Luminous that she would head over in a few months, she teleported to the entrance of the Labyrinth.

She still couldn't teleport directly inside, but the doors were open this time, so Velgin went straight in.

Velgin very quickly realized that the traps weren't disabled.

'Hmm. Do they want me to test out the dudgeon?' Gin thought as she stepped on a tripwire that released some knockout gas.

Fortunately, most of the traps didn't work, since Velgin was too strong for cheap tricks. Being able to levitate, not needing to breath, and having durable shields basically invalidated all the traps.

About half an hour of wandering around, Velgin found the stairs leading to the next floor, the coliseum.

But there still wasn't a suitable boss monster yet, so she went down to the next floor, where Ramiris and Milim were staring excitedly and caringly at the 2 dragon eggs.

Velgin had come at the perfect time, as the dragons were showing activity in the eggs. Both eggs were shaking around, as if they were hyper. The excess magicules in the air were also rapidly being sucked towards them.

*Crack* *Crack* *Crack*

A few short but long moments later, Gaia burst out of her shell, glowing the white light of evolution signifying her change. Her size was back to that of a baby, but her strength had greatly increased compared to before. She was no longer an easy target which weak knights could kill, but instead a powerful dragon in a small form.

Shortly after, Lin also hatched from his egg, glowing with a purple light, but not spitting out miasma. Fortunately, he didn't go berserk, or else Ramiris may not have been able to keep him.

The two dragons seemed to already know who their respective owners would be, as went up to then and licked their dominant hand, signifying their new relationship.

Seeing this, Velgin said, "these dragons are already mentally mature, but you'll still need to raise and train them. They may already be A+ rank Dragon Kings, but to awaken, they'll need battle experience and Magicules to absorb."

"Why don't we put Lin as the boss monster for the maze?" Ramiris thought out loud. Surprisingly, this was a great suggestion, as it would allow her to fight many challengers, and not die since Ramiris could revive anyone while in her labyrinth.

"I'll take Gaia with me to adventure so she can absorb my extra energy." Milim declared, though she seemed to not want to leave just yet.

Milim ended up deciding that she would stay for another year to allow the dragons to bond before leaving to explore the world.

----------

After playing with the two immature girls for more than a month, Velgin decided that they had their fun, and its time for business.

It was time for her to create her own faction in the Demon Lord Council. Even though she was close with Guy, Milim, and Ramiris, she still wanted her own voting power in the council. After all, it was Guy who invited everyone in, and he would have great influence over them. Milim and Ramiris may not care about their reputation, but Velgin needed a faction to counter Guy.

And the first candidate was Luminous, whom she had previously scheduled a meeting with.

Exchanging their goodbyes, Velgin left the labyrinth, and started flying northwest, towards Luminous's Night Rose Palace.

But as she was flying, Velgin felt something peculiar, and so did [Detective King Sherlock].

Magicules. A vast amount as well. Even the residual energy was double that of Velgin's reserves, which surprised her, as she didn't think that Veldora would attack so soon.

But this may or may not give her the chance to meet with Chloe Aubert, and see if Velgin was newly introduced into the timeline, as well as which iteration they are in.

Flying for a little longer, until she reached the base of the mountain, Velgin spotted someone she recognized. This wasn't a person she had met before, but there was no mistaking it. The mask pattern, identical to what Rimuru receives later.

But it wasn't the mask that stood out, but the person wearing it.

A woman whose beauty was peerless. The True Hero, Chloe Aubert, or rather, Chloe and Hinata Sakaguchi.

Going up to the sitting hero, Velgin greeted her by saying, "Good afternoon traveler. May I ask who you are and what you're doing here?"

"VELGIN? Is that really you? What happened? I thought you were off fighting the World Destroying Dragon, Ivarage?

The last thing I remember was during the 4th Tenma War, watching everyone leave for the battle field but then we were attacked from behind. Right before I was hit, Hinata jumped in the way, taking the strike, and all of a sudden I appeared here, with Hinata in my head." Chloe told Velgin, acting extremely worried and confused.

Then, Velgin realized, 'This is the first time leap from Chloe, isn't it. I still need to act the part though.'

"I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. Ivarage has been sealed up by Veldanava for tens of thousands of years.

And what do you mean 4th Tenma War? We only just recently had the first one. Are you from the future or something?" Velgin explain, feeling bad that she had to trick Chloe, but taking a necessary precaution.

"HUH?" Chloe screamed so loudly that Velgin though she heard Hinata's voice underneath hers.

"Are you sure you're not pranking me again. Just because were close friends doesn't make it funny," Chloe said poutingly, but her eyes showed doubt.

After clarifying for a little bit, Chloe revealed that this was her very first time experiencing this, and that her Ultimate Skill [Space-Time King Yog-Sothoth] seemed to have just gained the ability to time leap. Also, Chloe revealed that in her past timeline, the two of them were very close friends, as Velgin.

With Chloe brought up to speed, Velgin told her that she was going to meet Luminous, and she decided to come along.

Flying up to the peak of the mountain, Velgin and Chloe were met with a devastated sight of a destroyed palace, as well as a city on fire, storm clouds ravaging the palace with energy and lightning.

Somehow, the vampires living in the city all made it out alive, but the country would be no more.

Looking around, the duo noticed a beautiful vampire, balling her eyes out, kneeling on the ground looking ravaged.

Noticing the approaching duo, Luminous got up, looking very angry.

"YOU!!! ANOTHER LIZZARD HERE TO MAKE TROUBLE!!!" She screamed, charging an energy beam made from moonlight and blasting it towards Velgin.

This attack directly hit Velgin, but it was unable to pierce her shields, fizzling out after some time.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect this to happen. But only Veldora is like that, all my other siblings are very civilized." Gin said, trying to calm her down.

She wasn't good at it, making Luminous want to attack her again, but luckily Chloe stepped up to calm her down, and eventually, they all sat down together.

"How come my attack wasn't able to touch you?" Luminous asked after some time. She already knew that the duo were much stronger than her, but there must have been another reason why.

"Your Unique Skill [Lust] is a powerful one, part of the Seven Deadly Sins Series, but if you want to be a real powerhouse, you need to evolve it into an Ultimate Skill," Chloe said, directly revealing a secret that Guy was trying to keep.

"If you want, we could train you?" Velgin offered, wanting to spark a closer relationship between the two.

"Would you really do that for me?" Luminous asked, hopes being raised. Luminous wanted revenge on Veldora, but knew that it was basically impossible. But now, her chances have been raised, if just a little bit.

"Sure. After all, I am trying to create a close friendly relationship with you. Just make sure you side with me in the Demon Lord Council and make friendly ties with my nation." Velgin said.

And with that, Gin, Luminous, and Chloe (and Hinata) spent years together, training, relaxing, training, planning for the future, and most importantly, training.

Side Story 5

"Hey, what's up? You seem to have something you want to share with me in private?" Velgin asked Luminous.

After about a month of bonding with Luminous, they were able to get really close.

And now, Luminous was approaching Velgin with a secret she had been keeping for some time.

"I want to make a farm!" Luminous said after hesitating for a while.

"Huh? A farm? Okay I guess. That sounds pretty cool." Velgin said, confused on why this was a secret.

"Yeah. We're running a little low on human blood, so I wanted a way to keep my food supply close to me." Luminous said nonchalantly.

"HUH???"

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the chapter!

If you did, please give me a comment and add the story to your collection.

I'm going to try my best to read and reply to comments so if you have question, feel free to ask things.

Also, I know that Gin is weak compared to Guy, Milim, and the other True Dragons, but she is still growing. Plus, she's the only True Dragon learning how to use weapons and magic rather than just skills.
