Genius - 2 Months Time Skip
The bright sunshine coming from the window woke me up.
It has been 2 months since I decided to stay in the ogre village to learn the art of the swords from a genuine sword saint.
My progress in the sword was quick.
It was so quick that it dumbfounded everyone in the village to the point that they doubted whether I hadn't really touched a sword in my life before that moment.
In just a week I was able to grow to the point of being able to exchange blows against the nameless Hakuro without relying on anything else but my own sword prowess.
My progress was all thanks to my two unique skills that we're perfect for each other.
Unique Skill - Novelty's sub skills "Empathy" and "Copy" work hand in hand copying Hakuro's sword experience, sword mastery and techniques and in addition with the calculative support of "Insight" I was like a sponge absorbing everything like there's no tomorrow.

In my days in the Ogre village I also acquired two new extra skills – Haki and All-Seeing-Eyes thanks to Novelty's sub skill – Skill Creation.
Even though the magicules cost of creating and acquiring new extra skills we're quite hefty as it permanently decreases ones magicule count I found the exchange tolerable and a must to ensure my growth.
Obtaining new skills has the downside that it lowers one's Magicule capacity permanently each time a new Skill is acquired and that the capacity of skills is based on the strength of the soul.
Monsters can more easily gain skills due to their high Magicule affinity, but in turn, Humans have more capacity for skills due to a generally stronger Soul but have a harder time obtaining skills in the first place; hence Humans usually focus on training their Arts instead.
I, however, am a unique existence.
As a Demonoid I possessed both the positive and negative attributes of a monster and a human.
I also have Novelty in my arsenal, a unique skill which functions is direct manipulation of my soul energy and perfect control over my own energy.
And thanks to Insight my growth should be impeccable.
Not that I'm in a hurry.
Just to be on the safe side.
I also learned that every time I kill something a part of that creature's soul would be absorbed by me directly increasing my magicule count at the same time strengthening my soul.
It is a hidden special characteristic of my Unique Skill – Novelty, that even Insight couldn't explain.
Moreover, by analyzing the absorbed soul's data information there's also a high chance for me to acquire its abilities albeit with a cost of permanent magicule lost.
So for now, I decided to keep the data information of the absorb souls of the monsters that I have killed these past days as I can probably make use of such data later on.
"It's unlike you to wake up late."
Arriving at the training ground after cleaning himself Shiro was greeted by his mentor nameless Hakuro.
"Well the past days raids took a toll on me."
In those past days Shiro had accompanied Hakuro and other Ogre warriors in raiding big and small mindless monster settlements, an example is giant ant nests.
They made sure to cull their numbers from time to time in order to avoid a surprise tragedy.
If a monster's nest population were to reach a certain threshold that monster nest would need to expand their territory and by doing so there would be a fight for survival.
Shiro just happened to arrive in the same season such an event took place.
Hakuro and the other Ogre invited him to join as a test and for them to measure his strength.
Shiro almost erased one settlement using Death Storm.
Thanks to Insight Shiro was able to recreate Ranga's "Black Lighting" art in the anime.
His, Death Storm, however is more destructive and precise due to Novelty's support.
Witnessing his might with their own eyes the Ogres stopped doubting him and even began to admire him.
In this world where it's survival of the fittest the stronger someone is the more admirable and respected they are.
"This day is your last day in the village, show me your progress." The nameless "Hakuro" said to Shiro in a serious tone.
He had told everyone that he'll be leaving one of these days and yesterday at dinner he told them that he'll be leaving the village to start his journey.
"I see. So the news has already reached you, teacher."
"Well, you made the princess cry." He said in a teasing tone.
Shiro couldn't rebuke him and just shrugged the back of his head in defeat.
In the past days that he had stayed in the village his relationship with Shuna had greatly improved and she had definitely fallen for him.
He can tell thanks to his sub skill – Empathy.
Unfortunately, Shiro is not ready to commit all the way.
He has many things in minds and even though he followed his mother's advice to live his life to the fullest Shiro still prioritizes searching for them before anything else.
Moreover, his emotions when it comes to Shuna haven't developed that far.
Shiro didn't want to have a one sided relationship.
And it's not like he wouldn't be coming back here.
In his short stay in the Ogre village his bonds with everyone had grown strong that Shiro wouldn't let the Orcs Lord's invasion wipe them out.
His main priority for now is to grow strong fast not just to search for his family but to protect this world.
Though he had valuable knowledge about the past, future and present of this world Shiro's knew that things wouldn't always go the same.
This is his reality now, it isn't a mere fictional story anymore with fixed paths.
This time everything is possible.
Who knows this world's terminology and history might not even be the same as he knew.
Such was Shiro's worries.
