25 Memory Transfer!! Slice Of Cake!!

The meeting filled with the executives seemed to be coming to an end after they finished talking about their battle plans.

But before everyone was dismissed, Lucifer raised his hand, seemingly wanting to say something.

"No mercy, don't hold back, if the sides were switched they would murder us without a second thought just because we're monsters. So we're gonna fucking show them how much of a monster we can be!" Lucifer smirked.

Shion smiled, excited at the prospect of being able to show off her strength to her Lords.

Benimaru also silently smiled.

Shuna seemed worried about the battle, but after looking around and seeing that all the other executives were excited, eased her worries.

Rimuru on the other hand seemed reluctant about the idea but stayed silent, not wanting to diminish the morale in the room.

"Alright that's it for now, inform the citizens of the adjusted rules, you're dismissed." Lucifer waved everyone off as they left.

Shuna noticed Rimuru's face and was about to ask what was wrong, but one look from Lucifer told her he would handle it, so she just bowed and left.

Once everyone was gone, Lucifer jumped onto the table and looked straight at Rimuru with an irritated gaze.

'Even though he's not naive, his kindness is making us divided which is not good.' Lucifer inwardly sighed.

"Why are you looking at me like th-" Rimuru was about to question Lucifer but was cut off.

"It seems you need to see it for yourself if I wanna stop dealing with your shit." Lucifer muttered before reaching toward Rimuru with his paw.

"Hu-"

Before Rimuru could say anything, Lucifer's paw tapped his forehead.

Rimuru's eyes widened, in front of Rimuru were currently hundreds of monster corpses in the center of Tempest.

'Where am I!?' Rimuru panicked inwardly.

One second he was in the meeting room, and the next he was in what seemed to be the center of Tempest, which looked completely unrecognizable.

All around him was carnage, injured people everywhere, blood splattered on the brick walls and floors of houses.

It was as if he was in a dream, he couldn't control his body, he could only watch.

Looking back toward the bodies, two particularly stood out to him.

A tall slim goblin, with very long sharp ears...

The most innocent one...

Gobzo.

Rimuru was overwhelmed with feelings, but they soon were pushed to the side once he saw a certain purple-haired female ogre on the ground.

'Shion.' He called her name inwardly, seemingly at a loss as to what to feel.

He balled his imaginary fist but soon just let go.

Closing his eyes to regain his bearing, opening them back up, only to be back in the meeting room with a certain cat curiously peering at him.

"Was that the future?" Rimuru asked with a sigh.

He seemed to have realized it was Lucifer's doing.

Lucifer just nodded, he could tell Rimuru was just acting calm and that inwardly, his feelings must be in turmoil.

"I guess you really do have a skill that can tell the future." Rimuru stated with a downcast expression.

He thought that Lucifer was lying but it seemed that wasn't the case, it seemed like he could really tell the 'future'.

In order to trick Rimuru, Lucifer had to basically use the zoom-in button in his memories, to show that it's not an anime and made it look realistic.

Lucifer used the Extra Skill, [Memory Transfer] in order to show Rimuru what happened, Rimuru also had, [Memory Transfer].

Which would allow you to partially transfer your memories to other people, to show them certain events.

Lucifer just stayed silent, ignoring what Rimuru said, and watched him, curious as to what he'll pick.

But Rimuru's reluctant eye's soon turned resolute.

"In order to avoid that future and to protect Tempest, I'll do anything it takes, even if I have to kill thousands." Rimuru stared at me determined, but I could still see some sadness in there.

"Good girl." Lucifer patted Rimuru's head with his paw.

"Girl!? And I'm not a dog!" Rimuru exclaimed with a twitching eyebrow.

"You'll soon be my do-"

Before Lucifer could finish his sentence, Rimuru sent a punch to his kitty face, but hit nothing but air.

"Missed me." Lucifer chuckled behind Rimuru.

Rimuru turned around with an angry/embarrassed face.

"You pervert! I thought I was a pervert but your just a perv, perv!" Rimuru shouted with a red face while pointing at him accusingly.

"Me? I just appreciate beauty, that's not being a perv." Lucifer's cat mouth smirked.

"Smooth line if I was a girl but last time I checked, I'm not!" Rimuru retorted.

"Who says in the future you can't become one?" Lucifer questioned with a raised eyebrow, amused at the current situation.

"You are unbelievable sometimes, I swear. Sometimes I think I'm already used to your antics but I keep lying to myself." Rimuru muttered while calming down.

Transforming back into his human form, Lucifer walks up to Rimuru.

Flick!

Flicking Rimuru's forehead like a certain scarlet-eyed man, he smiled.

"Don't forget, your never alone, everyone in Tempest is here to support you."

"Did you just copy that from Itachi?" Rimuru questioned, ignoring his earlier statement.

"Maybe, regardless, do you get my point?" Lucifer shrugged and looked straight at Rimuru.

"Yeah, don't worry." Rimuru replied with a smile, his fist pointing toward Lucifer.

Lucifer bumped his fist, and they both smirked.

"Let's get this done!" They exclaimed at the same time.

As soon as they finished their sentences, they looked at each other embarrassed.

"Yeah, l think we should just..." Lucifer pointed towards the door.

"Yeah, dinner?" Rimuru suddenly questioned, but realized what he said.

"Wait! I didn't mean t-" Rimuru was flustered but before he could finish his sentence, Lucifer grabbed his waist, and Shunpoed off.

(Shuna POV)

*Yawn*

Slowly getting out of bed, I go to the bathroom to freshen up with these cool objects that Lord Rimuru and Lord Lucifer introduced, called sinks.

After freshening up, I tidy up my Japanese-styled bedroom and get changed.

One I was done, I walked out of my house towards City Hall, where the executive cafeteria is.

Upon entering the Cafeteria, I see Lord Lucifer and Lord Rimuru glaring at each other, the atmosphere was tense.

They were standing opposite of each other with their hands twitching as if they were gonna fight.

What could have made them so mad at each other? I questioned inwardly.

The chefs and maids nearby were scared and started to leave the cafeteria.

But once they saw Shuna, their once fear-stricken faces turned into relief.

One of them rushed up to Shuna, she seemed to be a goblin maid.

"Lady Shuna! Thank god your here!" The goblin maid bowed before she started to speak.

"Gobina right? What's going on?" I remember her serving us lunch before.

But seriously the naming taste of those two is horrendous, at least we ogres were saved from that name tragedy and got more unique names.

"Well it se-" Before she could even explain, Lord Lucifer and Lord Rimuru both pulled out their hands, doing some sort of signs.

I prepared a barrier around the staff, just in case.

"Rock! Paper! Scissor! Shoe!" I suddenly hear both of them exclaim while continuing their hand signs.

"HAHA! I won, I get to have the slice of cake!" I see Lord Lucifer celebrating triumphantly, while Lord Rimuru seemed to be sulking with his head down.

Were they just playing some game!?

Now that I'm paying attention, there seems to be one slice of cake on the table between them.

Don't tell me these idiots were fighting over a slice of cake!?

"You-" I was about to scold them until I saw Gobta seemingly walk in.

He walked up to their table clueless and looked like he was half-asleep.

Seeing the slice of cake on the table, Gobta cluelessly picked it up and ate it in one bite.

Lord Rimuru looked gobsmacked.

Lord Lucifer looked beyond furious, he and Lord Rimuru looked at each other, seemingly coming to an understanding.

As if they were using [Thought Communication].

They both walk up to Gobta slowly.

"Hello Lord Rimuru and Lord Lucife-" Gobta turned around and noticed his Lords but before he could even finish his sentence, he was cut off.

"Are you fucking courting death?!" Lord Lucifer's dialect seemed to have changed because of his anger.

"Huh?-"

Gobta was confused at his Lords aggression, but before he could even reply, he could see two legs aiming for his chest.

"BECAUSE THIS IS SPARTA!!"

Lord Lucifer's and Lord Rimuru's frontal kick both landed directly on his chest, in sync.

And what is Sparta?

Was this what their old civilization called?

*BOOM!*

Interrupting my thought process was a loud boom, Gobta was sent through the wall, disappearing into the horizon, never to be seen again.

(2nd POV)

Lucifer brushed the dust off his shoulders and gave Rimuru a high five.

"Nice kick." Lucifer remarked.

"I could say the same about you." Rimuru smirked.

"Should we go check out that gaming system you made with [Great Sage]?" Lucifer looked towards Rimuru with excitement.

Rimuru made the first gaming system known to this world and Lucifer was excited to test it out.

"Sur-" Before Rimuru could agree, he was cut off by a very dark aura behind him.

"Lord Lucifer, Lord Rimuru, are you done playing around? We are about to go to war and all you guys can think about is cake and video games?" Shuna questioned with a calm smile but her creepy aura was saying otherwise.

"Maybe." Lucifer avoided eye contact and was about to Shunpo out there, but before he could, Shuna grabbed both his and Rimuru's arm.

"You two will both clean up the mess you made immediately!" Shuna ordered.

"Tsk, thats why your single." Lucifer muttered under his breath.

"That's what I'm saying." Rimuru agreed.

"Oh, so this is how you wanna play?" Shuna walked away, coming back 30 seconds later with something in hand.

Some sort of box, with a sign on it.

'Wait, is that what I think it is?' Lucifer questioned fearfully.

Lucifer looked toward Rimuru, and his fear-stricken face proved his fears.

"Yes this is the gaming console Lord Rimuru made." Shuna explained, holding it.

Even though Shuna didn't say anything, he knew she was threatening them with the gaming console in the most respectful way she can.

But before Shuna could speak again, two auras much stronger than her spread throughout the cafeteria.

Shuna was stunned.

'Are they actually taking this seriously? Is the console so important?' Shuna pondered.

If it was actually so important, she would immediately put it back but she assumed since it was just a game, they wouldn't overreact, it seemed she was incorrect.

"You don't mess with a man's game!" Lucifer exclaimed.

Rimuru nodded along with him.

They both jumped toward Shuna, ready for battle.

Shuna's face was gobsmacked, were they actually gonna attack her.

'Are they underestimating me? Well, I'll show them how strong I am!' Shuna got ready before them.

But before anything happened, she felt a gush of wind go past her face which made her close her eyes and when she opened them back up, they were gone and the roof was magically restored.

"Did they just run away?" Shuna just sighed.

"I swear they act like children." Shuna muttered.

All the staff were sweating bullets after seeing such an encounter.
