Chapter 7 Rin POV

Rin Pov

"Rin" that was the only word I heard when I looked at the boy with dark blue hair and had white spikes protruding from his upper back and shoulder blades. Half of his face looked like it was crushed by something. He only had one eye. And for some unknown reason he looked quite familiar. All I could remember was him calling the word "Rin" with desperation before everything in my vision turned white.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a room sleeping on a bed. I tried to get up but it was quite painful to even move my hand. But I persisted and tried again. Just when I was about to fall again and couldn't hold it any longer. I saw the door opening and looked at the little person who entered through the door.

As soon as he saw me, he grew worried and helped sit up before asking me if I was alright.

"Onee-chan, are you alright?"

I tried speaking to him but couldn't speak clearly and my voice was really hoarse. He gave me some water and I asked him who he was. His name was Tenji and he found me in the forest riddled with injuries.

He asked me what my name was. The only thing I could remember was the boy who desperately called the word Rin.It might be my name. I was thinking about the name Rin. As I was thinking, Tenji called me again and looked at me questioningly.

"Rin" I subconsciously said the name. It felt quite natural. So it must be my name.Besides that's the only name I know and even think of.

Tenji went out to get the doctor who examined my body. He told me that I have memory loss. My memory would eventually return but he didnt know when.Then he told Tenji something and went away after taking his fee.

I felt quite sad. Not even knowing who I am. In a place where there was only a kid.I felt quite lonely. It was as if there was no one there for me. I felt scared. Tenji came back from dropping off the doctor. He looked quite serious. He said he would prepare breakfast for me but he still stood there and it seemed like he wanted to say something to me.

"Onee-chan the truth is always bitter but you have to deal with what I am going to say next". When he said that I became quite nervous. Was there some problem with my body?.

"The truth is that…". Him hesitating to say only made me more nervous.

" Is that?". I asked him.

"Your mouth stinks like hell!!!". He said to me and covered his nose. I was dumbfounded. How could you say something like that to a lady? You brat just you wait.

"Now that you have lightened up, Go and clean yourself" he said to me and dropped me off at the washroom.

I felt quite relieved knowing that there wasn't any problem. I checked my breath to see if what he said was true. I smelled horrible. That was the only thing I needed to light a fire inside me. One that wouldn't go down until I smelled like fresh flowers.I bathed for nearly half an hour before coming out and found new clothes Tenji placed for me.

After eating breakfast with him I found quite a lot of things about him. He knew how to cook and he lived by himself so basically did all the housework. He even asked me to live here as there were few rooms and all I had to do was help him look after the house.

I felt quite touched. Although he was a kid he was kind and sensible. I didn't seem to have noticed before but he is quite cute too. He was currently practising in the backyard and I was getting quite bored.

I asked him to get me some books and I read them until afternoon. Even though I forgot everything I still remembered how to read and write. I read the books he bought me till afternoon.

After lunch he went back to practising and I was getting quite bored inside so I asked him to take me out. I sat in the shade as I looked at him practising. I wondered why he practiced so hard.

His reply left me stunned. He called me his sister and he wanted to protect me. For the first time I felt like I belonged somewhere. I also wanted to protect my cute little brother. The blue colour thing around him intrigued me. So I asked him to teach me.

He replied to me saying 'how could a ninja forget how to use Chakra?' I got suspicious. How did he know I was a ninja? Did he know my past? So I asked him and he bought me my belongings which he forgot to give to me. Looking at those things I felt quite nostalgic. For some unknown reason I felt like they were mine.

After some time we both started practicing. As I couldn't move. I sat there and felt my Chakra.

A Few Days Later. (Still Rin Pov)

After a few days of rehabilitation Rin could now move properly and was able to utilize her chakra. Today, Tenji and I were practising. I felt the Chakra in my body and started moving it around my body. I felt like I could bring more and more Chakra out of my body.

Tenji said that the chakra in my body was very huge and he made a seal that avoided a sensory Ninja's preception. But it would break if added more than a certain amount of Chakra. With the seal active my chakra signature would become similar to that of an ordinary civilian.

I closed my eyes and felt the Chakra in me. I started bringing it out and gradually increasing it. As I couldn't feel anything by increasing the output. I went ahead and tried to release everything. But before I could do so something smacked me in the head. I opened my eyes only to find my little brother staring angrily at me.

"Why did you hit me?" I asked with indignation.

"Are you trying to kill yourself? You would suffer from severe chakra exhaustion if you were out of chakra. And you would be a magnet that attracted all the ninja's. If you didn't stop just now we would have people on our backs for the rest of our lives. So don't do this type of thing unless absolutely necessary. Understand Nee-chan?". Tenji said the last part very seriously. Looks like I would have reel in my desire to see just how much I can do huh.

He then started teaching various things about Chakra he knew and taught me a way to gradually strengthen my body permanently and spontaneously with it. He told me how permanent increase was way more beneficial than a spontaneous increase in strength.

We started sparring after a while which turned into an instant defeat for me.

A month later (Still Still Rin Pov)

I was out shopping for some groceries when anold lady came towards me.

"Looks like you are all healed up? Are you feeling good?". She asked me kindly.

"Yes, I am alright. May I know who you are?" I asked her as this was the first time we met.

"You obviously won't remember me. I took care of you after that kid brought you back".'So she is the nanny Tenji told me about'.

"I see thank you very much for taking of me" I said to her politely. She asked me about my well being before telling me something.

"Take good care of that kid. Apearently that little guy carried you all the way from deep forest to the town on his back. I personally saw how much her cared for you. He is a good kid. Take good care of him". She said her part and went away as she had work to do.

Although the of carrying me was a peice of of cake to Tenji felt quite sweet and happy knowing what happened. I am going to make a feast for my sweet little brother.

Their peaceful life continued.
