As Helena laid with Mark in an on call room bed, her head on the man's chest and her hand around his abdomen, she whispered almost inaudibly in her sleep. The man watched her, enjoying the peaceful quiet and smiling amusedly at the girl's mumbling. Suddenly, her pager went off, Helena's head shooting up and hitting the top bunk.

"Ouch." She complained, her hand going to her head. As she opened her eyes, she looked down at a smiling Mark, who stared at her. "You're up?" She asked, getting out of bed and putting her scrubs back on.

"Yeah. You do this very cute Portuguese rambling think when you sleep, you know..." He said, still looking at the girl who got dressed.

"I do not!" Helena answered, her mouth opening, a bit offended. "I do not do a Portuguese rambling... !"

"Hum... yeah, you d-" At the woman's hard glare, he stopped. "Ok, fine, you don't." He said, amused and not very convincingly.

"Ok, I gotta go." The resident breathed out, rushing to press a kiss to his lips after putting her hair up. "I've got a contest to win."

Just like that, she rushed out of the room, leaving an upset Mark to mumble to himself. "Damn contest. Makes her live in the hospital stops me from having morning sex..."

As Helena got up the pit, she put her trauma gown on before Cristina, Meredith and Helena came into the room, practically running.

Once they saw Helena already there, they stopped on their tracks. "How... how are you already here?" Izzie let out, the three of them putting on their own trauma gowns.

"I'm friends with the nurses. With older nurses too, you know, the ones that have been here for decades and know all the best short cuts." She smiled up at them, leaving for the ambulance bay.

"Sneaky..." Meredith whispered, pouting slightly.

As her friends joined her outside, Meredith asked Alex, who was holding up a notebook. "Who's winning?"

"Yang and Lena are tied." He told them.

"Surprised?" Cristina asked, high-fiving her shorter friend, who let out a giggle.

"Let me see!" Izzie asked, peaking over the man's shoulder. "I'm twenty six points behind? That's not possible! Count again. What about all those surgeries?"

"Only three points for watching." Helena told her.

"Yeah, you gotta do." Cristina added.

"I do!" Izzie rolled her eyes. "I can't make them let me do procedures."

"You gotta ask." Meredith told her.

"Yeah, when I ask they almost always say yes." Helena nodded in agreement.

"Well, but that's because your... well, . You're a freaking twenty two year old surgical resident who just so happens to be a genius." Izzie pouted.

"You gotta take charge of your own destiny, make it happen. Like this." Cristina told her, rushing to open the ambulance's doors.

As Helena and Meredith cleaned out their patient's head cut, Callie also in the room, the man asked.

"Is my brother gonna be ok?" The man asked. He had been pretty lucky to only have a few injuries, since his brother's intestines were outside of his body, due to a bear attack. "Please, this is all my fault. I gotta know if he's ok."

"They're taking him to surgery right now, but we don't know much yet. We'll keep you informed." Helena smiled down at the man.

"Impressive hand, Phillip. I can right through it." Callie commented, Helena looking down at the big whole in the man's hand.

"The bear cup, she just latched on and wouldn't let go. And then when Scott came over to try to help, the mother, she... oh, god, I can't believe we got out of there alive." The patient's girlfriend explained.

After the man was taken care of, the resident's gave him and his wife some forms to fill out.

"There, done." The man finished, extending them to Meredith.

"It's completely illegible." Meredith commented, Helena smiling.

"He's a complete slob." The wife commented, a playful tone being used.

"Alright, Mr. Robinson. Dr.O'Malley is going to come and take you to X-ray. And are going to take your wife to the waiting room." Helena explained.

"She said wife!" The woman smiled up at her husband. "I'm still not used to that."

"We're newlyweds." The man explained, smiling as well.

"Congratulations!" Both doctors answered in unison.

"She's my rebound girl." Mr. Robinson told them, Helena and Meredith sharing an uncomfortable look.

"Hum... he's a little hoped up on painkiller right now. I think you're oversharing, honey." The wife told them, uncomfortable.

"She thought she was my rebound girl but I rebounded her all the way to the church. Only knew her ten days. But when you know, you know. You know?"

After comforting the woman and realizing a piece of her scalp had come off, the residents took her to an exam room, paging Shepherd and Sloan.

"CT is clear." The neuro attending told them.

"But it's deep. The bear clawed you good." Mark commented, both him and Helena stitching the woman up.

"I didn't even feel it..." The woman commented.

"Adrenaline is a pretty powerful drug." Meredith shrugged.
