The Ambush

When Reed, Devin, and Jasmin saw Emy, they all looked at her with the same expression. The food at the bar wasn't particularly tasty, so they ate a lot. They did not expect Emy to eat that much, though.

"Hey, wife, take it easy! You might end up suffocating on that!" Reed said.

Emy took a quick look at them. "Why are you staring at me? Don't you feel like eating?" Emy said.

Devin couldn't help but keep looking at Emy. He wasn't aware that Reed was also watching Emy.

"Are you expecting a baby?" "Hey, wife, are you pregnant?"

Reed and Devin both looked at each other and asked the same thing. Jasmin was laughing, and it made Emy stop eating. They all turned to look at Jasmin.

"There's just no way Miss Emy could get pregnant because..." Emy just put a piece of squid in Jasmin's mouth. She couldn't finish what she was going to say. Jasmin had a worried expression as she glanced at Emy.
