Daphne noticed Esme's name on Julian's phone. "Couldn't she spare him?" She muttered.
Ignoring the buzzing of the phone, she took out his clothes from the cupboard and placed them meticulously on the bed.
The phone rang yet again.
Frustration boiled over her. With a swipe of her finger, she disconnected the call and turned the phone off.
Julian finally came out of the bathroom and found his clothes ready on the bed. A small smile appeared on his lips. He put on his clothes and reached out to take it.
"Could you please not check the phone for a while?" Daphne's voice from behind halted his movement. With a radiant smile on her face, Daphne approached him and handed him a cup of coffee. "When you are at home, try to minimize the use of the phone," she said with a pleading tone. "Spend time with me."
