Chapter Three

(Celeste)

The rapping at the door continued, Celeste watched her Uncle open it slowly, a man stood there a long brown robe hanging from his body. The man had a hood covering his head and face, the air of mystery surrounded him, along with danger. Celeste felt her skin break out in goose bumps, narrowing her eyes she wondered what in the hell was going on? Guest were rare, let alone guest that looked like that, something was not right here. Her Aunt went and stood with her Uncle and they talked in a whispered hush with the strange figure, when they turned towards her, they smiled, "Celeste come her girl." They ushered towards them with a wave.

Celeste hesitated, "What is going on?" she asked taking a slight step backwards.

Her Aunt clicked her tongue against her cheek, making an awful sound, "Come here." She snapped, walking over she grabbed her around the wrist dragging her forward, towards the man. "This is Celeste, we told you she was a beauty." She said proudly.

Starring into the abyss of the shadow covering the mans face from the hood he wore over his head, Celeste bit her lip, her heart racing in her chest. Even though she could not see the man's eyes, she knew that she was being observed, she could feel the sick rack of his gaze travel up and down her curved body. Celeste was not one of those stunning models. Her bones had some meat on them, though from years of not eating as healthy as she should be, she was slightly skinnier than she would like. That did not affect her breasts, they were still slightly larger than average, and her derriere she was once told was thick.

"I do not understand what is going on." She said looking at her Aunt and Uncle.

Reaching inside his robes, the man brought forth a little scanner, "I will need to test her, if she has never been tested as you claim, that will factor into price." The man stated his voice was raspy.

"Well I'm assuming she is a Beta what would that fetch?" her Uncle asked.

"For an Alpha female the price is higher, because Elite Alpha males only want Alpha females to breed with." The man replied.

Understanding dawned on Celeste and the color drained from her face, "You are selling me off?" she said a little loudly, outrage and fear mingling together.

The look her Aunt and Uncle shared spoke volumes, it was guilty and greedy all in one. "If we did not do something, we would have to sell the farm. Think of it as doing your family an enormous favor." Her Uncle said shrugging his shoulders.

"You can not be serious I am your niece, how can you guys just up and sell me off to a stranger, I am your sister's only child." She felt tears welding up behind her eyes.

Her Aunt rolled her eyes, "You will be fine, maybe you will get lucky and be sold to an Alpha who would take you as a mate." She said with enthusiasm.

Celeste felt bile rise in her mouth, "Or maybe I will be sold as a sex slave and physically beaten, and drugged." She countered.

With a wave of her hand, Celeste's Aunt dismissed her all together, "Have faith girl." She simply said and turned towards the man, "Go ahead and scan her so we can be done. We need the money in cash up front."

Celeste felt numb, she could not believe what was going on, she knew that there was no love shared between them. Could feel it from the first day she had arrived on the farm but she had thought that working hard every day and never complaining would earn her some favor with them, that they might in time come to love her. How wrong she had been. Never had she thought they would sell her, kick her out maybe but never sell her. The man brought out the scanner and waved it over her forehead, he peered at in, through the darkness. There was a silence than a gasp of surprise from his person.

"I will give you triple what I would have paid for an Alpha female." He announced.

There was a collective stunned silence, "Why?" her aunt asked skeptically.

The figure tuned the scanner in their direction, "This girl is an Omega. I have never seen one before in my time. They are extremely rare, almost nonexistent, finding one in this time is a blessing in disguise."

"We want 150,000 chips for her, if she is as rare as you say, then she should fetch you a good price. Do not try and low ball us." Her uncle stated.

The hooded figure looked down at his screen, then after a moment he nodded, "Alright you have a deal." Reaching into his robes once again he took out a small disc and typed in the amount of money he needed. Instantly the bag attached to the disc filled with chips. Celeste watched her Aunt lick her lips greedily, her Uncle reaching out and taking the sack full of money. The deal was done, her life was worth 150,000 in chip currency, what freedom she did have was now completely gone.

"I would have paid double that." The man stated with a laugh after he was done, he pulled out a pair of laser light cuffs, "Come here girl, we must be going,"

Celeste blinked, "I am not going any where with you!" she yelled. Turning to escape, she hit the wall of her uncle's chest as he pushed her towards the shadowy figure. "Let me go!" she screamed, lashing out with all her might she elbowed her uncle in the face. There was a momentary glimpse of freedom as she bolted towards the front door.

"Draco, we have a runner!" the man yelled.

Celeste was almost to the door when she seen a humongous man step through it, he reached out a big meaty hand grabbing her up by the hair, taking her hands and twisting them behind her back. Celeste tried in vain to get out of his hold, the more she moved, the harsher his grip on her hair tightened. At that moment she did not care, she kicked, screamed, and thrashed as hard as she could against the bulk of a man. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at the people that were supposed to be her family, "I will never forgive you for this, one day you will both regret this, I promise you!" she yelled in hysteria, her chest heaving, she felt herself starting to lose consciousness.

"Spunky chit, someone is going to have fun breaking her in." the man laughed.

Celeste was thrown into the shuttle roughly, her head hit a window, and she winced at the pain. "Please let me go." She whimpered.

"I am Sisisky, the Slave Trader, we will be at my ship in a moment. There you will be tested for purity, and then put with the other slaves. We leave for Vlallas tomorrow, where you will put on the auction block." He stated looking at her through the rear view mirror. It was than that Celeste noticed that he had taken his hood down. The man was a dusky brown, completely bald, with huge gold hoop earrings. His eyes were a bright purple.

There was not a reason to acknowledge the man further, her fate was sealed, she was sold into slavery by the only family she had left. What was so wrong with her that people always left? Her family died leaving her alone, then her Aunt and Uncle sell her, it must be her. She was broken and contaminated everyone that she was around, maybe this was the life she deserved. With those thoughts Celeste starred ahead, refusing to look back at the place she had thought her home. No, she would find herself a new home, no matter how long it took, she refused to be anyone's slave. They would never break her, she would escape, and she would forge her own destiny. That was a promise.
