Worth A Shot

"Thanks for choosing our school, I'm hoping to see you do exceptionally well during your stay here...." The chancellor said. Woah!, This man looks like the older version of Micah.

"Uhm sir... Do I get a dorm to stay in" I asked.

"Yes of course, but there is a problem" he said with his face scrunched noting the wrinkles on his smooth face.

"What?" Micah asked, rather harshly.

"Ow! What was that for?!" I hit his arm again and brought his ear closer to whisper.

"Is that anyway to talk to your elder?, Must you always be so arrogant, apologize now."

"Cough cough!".

"Uh my apologies sir, what is the problem". I said with an apologetic smile.

"It's no problem my dear, it's just the ladies dorms are full right now, so we have a problem finding a place to fix you in, would you mind staying in the male dormitory temporary, some males have opted to let you stay." He said with amusement lurking in his eyes....

What a male dorm, no way!

"I...."

"She can stay with us, our space is big enough till she gets a dorm room"Micah cut in hastily.

"Huh? With you?" I asked sounding confused, yes I am confused, aren't they like seven in a space already, yes I admit, the dorm is really big but I didn't know it was that big.

"Yes! I'd be damned if I let you stay with a couple of fucked up dudes" he said clenching his jaws looking angry, he's sounding so jealous, why?....

"Ah then it's settled, Miss Diane Curtis you'll be staying with Micah here temporarily till we get you a dorm room." He said.

"Thank you sir, I really appreciate"I said slightly bowing.

"It's no problem dear, you may leave"

Micah turned to leave immediately, this dude... He didn't even apologize for being rude.

I pretended to trip and fall before he could open the door and leave, just so he can come to me and it worked! But the Chancellor also came to me looking worried.....

"Are you ok?!"they asked simultaneously. Wow their voice sounded alike.

"Yes, I just tripped, no need to worry, Micah can you help me up" I said with a small smile.

"Sure" he said, coming down to my level.

"Apologize now" I whispered in his ear as he was helping me up.

"What?!"

"You were rude to the poor man, don't you know he owns the school, you could get expelled for being a jerk so apologize" I said faking a smile, as I held onto Micah's arm.

He laughed. What the hell, he was laughing in front of the chancellor, how much more of a jerk can he be.

I gave him a piercing glare, well that did the trick.

"I'm sorry for being rude to you earlier on dad" he said with a smirk.

"We have to be on our way now she must be exhausted" he said dragging me towards the door.

"Come see me afterwards son" His dad said without even looking up from the paperwork.

"Sure thing." He said leading me out.

"Dad?!!!!!"

"DAD!!!!!!!!!!"she was screaming, she looked furious.

I need to tell the guys about her little act just to get me to apologize to my dad, it'd be hilarious.....

"You watched me make a mockery of my self in there, and you couldn't think to let me know he was your freaking father!!!" Oof!, she's mad.

"You did all that on your own, I had no part to play in it" I said chuckling a bit, though all I wanted to do was throw my head back and laugh so much my belly hurt.

"I could hit you, infact I should but you're driving. You're lucky you know" she said looking out the window scowling, her chubby cheeks coming into view more.

"Oh I know, you hit me not quite long" I said remembering the sting of her palm on my arm, she's quite strong. I'd give anything to see her hit Adonis, that jerk.

"Yeah, is there any grocery store around here?" She asked, still not looking at me.

"Yeah, I'll take you there right away ma'am." I said making her giggle a bit, finally...

What are you doing Micah!, She's getting into your skin. This is not going to end well, I know it, but it's worth a shot, right?.....

This chapter is particularly short, I didn't have the zeal to go on with it, and when I came back to it, I decided to cut it short and head on to the next exciting adventure..... Bear with me guys...
