"jake!..... jake!!!!.... jacob caeser!!!!! where the hell are you?, get your butt out here right now or else." a gasp interrupted my fury session.

"only my mama call me by my full name when she's mad. mama is that you?" he said, slowly inching towards me with fake sadness across his face. what the heck?!

i slowly rubbed my forehead as it seemed like an headache was slowly starting to eat through my skull.

"where's my phone?" shouting won't get me anywhere.

"I don't know, ask Zeke." He shrugged.

Then I heard it, my ringtone.....

It was coming from the kitchen.

Oh, whoever it was with my phone is so in for it.

"Zeke. Were you really planning on letting it ring forever?" I asked, with both hands on the side of my hips.

"Uh... No, I was actually just looking for you everywhere, it was like you disappeared or something like that, hehehe." He was really a bad liar. Note to keep that in mind.

"Haven't you heard of privacy. And even if you wanted my phone you could've asked, it's not like all the secrets of the world are in there or something." I said sounding really furious, and I have every right to be.... I utterly hate breach of privacy. It's irritating and uncalled for.

"You're angry right? I'm sorry?...." A for effort Zeke. As if I'm gonna let you off so easily.

"Jake? Whose turn is it to do kitchen duties today?" I asked still not looking away from my prey.

Tapping his chin slightly whilst looking up, he said "it's uhmmm, uhmmmm."

"Can you get it over with already?" I asked, slightly getting irritated.

"It's Hudson!, But he isn't always available so Adonis has to do it today."He said with his lips pressed into a thin line.

"Well, lucky Adonis because Ezekiel will be incharge of kitchen duties for the next three days." I said smiling

"Damn. I guess I deserve it tho, but it was worth it." He said winking at me.

I lay down on the couch with my head on Adonis laps. I'm surprised he even let me come this close to him without a glare, he is even rubbing my head slowly in a calming manner.

Maybe he's to engrossed on his phone to know someone's this close to him. Nonetheless..... I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Who wants to break down the door? Maybe it's Micah. Come to think of it, I haven't seen that demon all morning.... A dream come true.

Knock! "Well I guess I have to go get it, I can't even get a moment of peace" I mumbled to myself.

I made a move to get up or tried to but it seems like Adonis was holding me down or am I hallucinating things?.... I tried to get up again and this time I wasn't restrained. Hmmm.... I guess my mind just made things up then.

Was I a little sad about that? Yes, yes I was.

"Oh it's you. Micah's not home try next year." Dom said to whoever it was at the door. And Dom seemed absolutely uninterested, it was really unlike him.

"Oh.. well I'll just go look for Adonis then." A really high pitched voice spoke up. So it's a girl..... A really annoying one, judging from Dom's behaviour.

"Suit yourself." He said lowly.

"Adonis!!!!" She literally screamed, like a starved banshee. Jeez... She was walking towards the couch, expecting him to be where he usually lay with his eyes closed.

But instead, I still had my head on Adonis laps where I lay. I looked towards Adonis to see his eyes closed and his jaw clenched.

"Huh, excuse me but Adonis doesn't like people touching him if it isn't me. Can't you see he is clearly not comfortable. Do me a favour and get off him bitch." Oh no she didn't just use the B-word on me. I'll show her whose boss.

I stood up to her level and used that as an opportunity to size her up from head to toe.

She was a little bit taller than me or maybe it was the heels. She had red curly hair with bright green eyes. She's really pretty I'd give her that, she had really cute dimples at the side of her cheeks, her figure wasn't really prominent but her beauty made up for it. One look and I know she's a sly fox. A dirty gold digger, I hate gold diggers.

"So Adonis miss me? I couldn't come see you because I had some work to do for my dad, but I sure missed you. where's Micah? I haven't seen him anywhere" Whilst I was lost in the process of sizing her up, she took that as an opportunity to become a second skin to Adonis.

And the worst part of it was that she wouldn't shut up. Adonis was clearly uncomfortable with this change. Poor guy. I have to get rid of her and I know just the way to do it.

"Get up."
