Chapter 29.3 : Eldrich Complications

Merely a moment after smashing apart the tentacle that was reaching for her, Diana suddenly grabbed a hold of the remains, as a large frown appeared on her face.

The moment Diana touched the tentacle, and felt its feel and texture, a small burst of pain went through her head.

'A stand?'

To Diana's surprise though, before she could even get a good look at the tentacle, its remains had already disappeared from her hand, causing her to raise her guard.

Half a second later, Diana's leg suddenly smashed a tentacle that had emerged from behind her, whilst her hands crushed two others tentacles.

This time, though, Diana was able to get a rather good look at the two tentacles before they disappeared, causing another small burst of pain to go through her head.

The four Joestars that were in the room each had different responses to the appearance of the tentacles.

The youngest of them, Josuke, simply stood in place, clutching his forehead.

His father, Joseph, stood nearby him, falling deep into thought, whilst Jotaro stood next to him, unwilling to have anything to do with Diana.

The odd one out of the group was of course Jonathan, who actually tried to crush one of the tentacles for some reason.

Of course, after discovering that he could not touch them at all, he soon gave up.

Perhaps he did this since he did not have any sort of contact with Diana, or so thought Diana herself as she let out several fast punches in a row, taking out over a dozen tentacles in under a second.

But even so, the number of tentacles filling the room then began rapidly increasing, causing hundreds of them to appear only around five seconds later, causing Diana to frown.

'I could get overwhelmed if I let them get out of hand,' thought Diana as she watched the tentacles multiply in mere moments.

Only a fraction of a second after Diana had that thought, a golden figure suddenly appeared in the room, causing Diana to suddenly speed up 17 times in an instant.

In merely a fraction of a moment, Tempo Symphony destroyed each and every tentacle, allowing the now sped up Diana to run out of the room and begin looking through the house, sonic booms behind her.

In what seemed like a mere instant, Diana searched through nearly 75 percent of this vacation home of hers, before finally arriving at the indoor swimming pool room.

The moment Diana entered this room, fish features suddenly appeared on her body, causing her to ignore the fact that she still had her clothes on and jump into the deep pool.

In what seemed like a flash, Diana arrived at the bottom of the fifty-meter deep pool, allowing her to grab the foot of a humanoid creature that was currently crawling into a pipe.

The moment Diana grabbed hold of that foot, a burst of pain suddenly appeared in her mind, causing Tempo Symphony to suddenly appear next to her and grab it instead, allowing Diana herself to let go.

With one single strong pull, Tempo Symphony dragged the humanoid creature out of the pipe, revealing its tentacle filled head.

After that, Tempo Symphony and Diana began swimming to the surface before suddenly freezing midway as blood filled the pool.

As she turned back, and stared at the head of the monster, which had just exploded, Diana couldn't help but take a small taste of the blood that was dirtying the pool, causing her to shake her head.

'It tastes rotten...' thought Diana as she shook her head.

In the end, Tempo Symphony dragged the now headless monster out of the pool and placed it next to it, where the four Joestars were standing, staring at the three beings without doing anything.

...

As she looked at the headless monster lying on the floor, Diana couldn't help but faintly frown before closing her eyes and grabbing hold of it, as if to confirm something.

A moment later, Diana suddenly opened her eyes before taking a bit out of the chest of the monster.

'As expected, the pain is transmitted through the senses...' thought Diana as she tasted the slightly fishy flesh of the monster.

To be honest, with how bad the blood of the monster tasted back when she had taken a taste of it, Diana had not expected it to taste good in the slightest.

Because of this, she was slightly surprised by its rather nice taste.

With how focused she was on the taste, Diana nearly ignored the increase in pain that she felt while closely smelling and eating the monster.

But even so, Diana had to turn her attention back onto this topic as a second person suddenly entered the room.

The first thing Anastasia saw upon entering the room was Diana standing on the floor, with her clothes wet, causing her to involuntarily smile.

That smile then disappeared from her face as she noticed the second thing in the room, an eldritch looking monster that was lying dead on the floor.

The moment Anastasia saw the monster, her mind suddenly froze, as a sharp pain suddenly overwhelmed it, causing her to clutch her head in pain for a few moments.

Although this sense of extreme pain disappeared after a few moments, Anastasia still felt a rather extreme pain as she stared at the monster.

That pain was then further reduced as Tempo Symphony finally covered up the body of the monster with a tarp, hiding it from Anastasia.

Although the sound of flesh touching with tarp did cause her some pain, compared to what Anastasia felt before, the pain was extremely minor, allowing her to approach Diana, who was still testing out the taste of the monster.

'It's definitely a bit like salmon...' thought Diana as she turned her attention onto the person that had just walked into the room.

"Anastasia, I need you to secure this place and make sure that nobody enters and leaves it without permission," said Diana as she rose from the ground with a serious look on her face, causing Anastasia to hurriedly nod
