The world has fallen and so did humanity. In the new era after the apocalypse, Marcus Zephanie was hailed to be the leader. Because of him, one-fourth of the human race was saved. He was the new hero. However, not everyone believed that Marcus was the man people deemed him to be and no one really knows the truth, except for one. *Photo for the cover grabbed from google :)
"Mister Zephanie," Marcus turned towards Edgar Fisherman, one of the council members. He remembered him from the memory of his clone. He was a nice guy. Although, Marcus was doubtful about his intentions.
"Edgar," Marcus shook his hand, brandishing his practised smile.
"Long time no see."
Edgar Fisherman returned the smile, brandishing one of his own.
"Long time indeed, Mister Zephanie," he said in response, gesturing for Marcus to sit with him in his office.
"Forgive me if this may seem too sudden for you,"
Marcus shook his head.
"No, Edgar. I'd be happy to provide assistance for you. Now, tell me, what can I help you with?"
"Well, I was very interested in your speech." Marcus Zephanie helped himself not to smirk.
"Which part of it?"
"The clones," now Marcus Zephanie's interest was piqued too.
