"A vision?" I stated, finding myself staring at the two detectives, Rafael and Ronald sitting across from me at the cafeteria inside the medical building.
The encounter with Hero had crossed my mind earlier. I brushed it off in an instant. I didn't need the reminder of his proposition. It will only add to the pile of unwanted thoughts inside my head.
I folded my arms across my chest trying to assess what Rafael had just said.
I was surprised to receive a page just a few minutes after excusing myself from Aly. I almost had my hope up that it was Mary Earle. The thought of finally being able to talk to her was actually making my insides churn with anticipation.
I needed to find out how she knew of the tattoo and what else did she know about. Additionally, I was going to ask if Marcus had shown or told her anything, She can be a valuable ally if I play my cards right.
