CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCING

"Good morning Dad!! I'll leave you here first, I'll just buy a breakfast. Wait for me ah!" I cheerly said to my father who is lying in hospital bed.

It's been five months, but he still doesn't wake up. But I do not lose hope, because I believe that while there is life, there is hope. Even though I want to cry all the time, I know my dad won't like it. He even said that i am much prettier when I'm smiling. Well, I know that HAHAHA.

I was about to go out the door but suddenly my phone rang. I immediately answered the call coming from my friend.

'Good morning, sissy !! Are you with uncle now? ' she asked on the other line.

"Good morning too, Belle! Yes, I'm here with papa. I'm going out of the hospital to buy something to eat" I replied.

'Okayy !! Just wait me there, let's go to school together. Babuuu !! ' then she ended the call.

I was about to cross the road when someone suddenly poke my shoulder. I immediately looked at who it was, because it might be a holdaper, right-- owemji !! You can get nothing from me!

"Miss, can I ask for something to eat " a dirty kid looked up at me while gesturing as if asking.

"Pity us, we both have nothing to eat. Can I come with you too? " he just looked at me as if I were asking myself if I was fooling him or what.

"What do you think ?, don't be choosy. You're not cute " Then i rolled my eyes on him. Such a naughty kid.

"Crazy" what a disrespectful kid. He shouldn't say it to a pretty girl like me.

"Huh?" I even put my ear to him.

"I said, you're craz -" I didn't finish him because I had something more to say.

"Hotdog" He just looked at me. Grr, if you are not just a kid.

"I'll go ahead, I will just buy MY food. I will not give you" I said teasingly with matching tongue out. Bleh!

I crossed over and left him standing on the other side. When I crossed over, I turned to look at him. Poor kid.

"What do you want?" I would have answered but she was not looking at me. Eh? I looked to my left and right. A woman is using her phone. She didn't seem to hear what Ale (the one who's selling the food) said so I poke her.

"Miss, Ale is talking to you" I told her. She just raised an eyebrow at me and then left. What the hell was that?

"What is yours?" I still look around but I'm the only one here.

"Is it me?" I asked in curiosity

"Probably" I am amused of her eyes. The right eye is looking at me, while the other is on the other side. I just ignored her eyes and looked at the kid on the other side of the road. He just bent down and stared at the emptiness.

"Two pancit " I also paid after she gave me what I bought.

When I crossed, the kid immediately looked at me. And i immediately raised an eyebrow at him.

"Oh? Why are you looking at? I'll stab you in the eye if you'll not going to stop" I said but he just averted his eyes and went his gaze on his feet.

"I just bought food, then you're suddenly become sad. You want us both to be hungry huh. I'm sorry, pretty people are not allowed to diet" still no effect on him. I sat down next to him. I don't care if I also look like a beggar here. The important thing is that I am still pretty.

"Oh! this one is yours. I really bought it for you. Even though you said I was crazy yet pretty to--"

"What I said earlier is just crazy" he interrupted what I said. I immediately withdrew my hand holding the pancit.

"Don't eat anymore. I'll go home" I got up and was about to walk when he pulled my hand.

"It's just a joke, pretty sister. Just give me the food. I'm really hungry" I looked at him and smiled teasingly.

"What did you call me again? Hurry up, I'll give you your pancit" I waved the pancit in front of him. He followed that look.

"Sister." My eyes get little at him while still smiling.

"What's next?" I asked as it looked like a dog waiting for what he was going to say. Such a pretty dog hihi.

"Pancit. Come on sister, my mother and I haven't really eaten yet. I even told her that I'll be there for a while and then I'll come back to her right away because I'll find something to eat" I lost my smile at what he said and was replaced by sadness.

"Is that so. Alright , here's the pancit. This one is yours too. Go home, maybe your mother is worried about you" he took the pancit and hugged me.

"Thank you Pretty sister. Til' we meet again!" He said while smiling and ran away. I just waved at him and wait until he was out of my sight.

When I returned to the hospital, I immediately told the story to Dad about the kid earlier.

"He make fun of me dad, that kid told me that i am crazy. With this beauty? Do i look crazy?" I talked to dad.

"Sorry, Dad. I didn't eat my breakfast, I just gave it to the kid because I know they need it more. I'm still pretty even if I don't have breakfast right?" My confirmation. I would have talked more but someone knocked on the door. Maybe it's Belle.

"Hi uncle! I will just borrow Via. We will just enroll" she said goodbye while smiling. I took Dad's hand as i put it on my cheek

and kiss it. I smiled at it and parted his hair.

"Dad. when I come back, you should be awake. You're enjoying your sleeping to much" I said.

"I'll be right back, I know you'll miss my beauty face right away" I joked. I got up and took the bag from the side of the table and invited Belle to leave.

When we were in front of her car, she stopped and turned to me.

"Sis, have you eaten your breakfast? You know, uncle doesn't want you to be starve because we have a saying 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day'" I hesitated to smile here and shook my head softly and said something about to the kid earlier.

"Whatever. Take a ride, beautiful girls can't wait" I also took the passenger seat.

"Drive now, it's better not to be bored the pretty lady" She just looked at me and stared. I just laughed at her too.

"Don't be annoyed, you'll treat me lunch, right?"

"Duhh what's new? " We just laughed again. Of course, she always pays for our food. In the middle of our misery, she suddenly squealed.

"I have something to tell you, sis!!" She said with an excited tone. I stared at her immediately because i was sure that it was a flirty story.

"Just give me a time to sleep. I need a beauty rest" I said and rested my head on the back of my seat.

"It's just a rest sis! Don't include the beauty" she teased. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Fyi! I'm even prettier than you! Look." I even pointed at my face. But she was rolled her eyes. I laughed.

"Whatever! I'm beautiful! I'll tell you now what am i going to say" she said excitedly.

"While I'm on my way, I saw a handsome creature near--" I pretended to be listening, but I was unaware that my beautiful eyes were closing. We can talk later, sis.

"VIA CASTILLO !!!!!" I was able to sit up properly because of the shout coming from her.

"What?!" I asked irritably.

"We've got here on Campus and I've waking you up since the car stops! " I stared at her.

"I'm sorry! I fell asleep" I immediately looked at my appearance in the mirror to see if I looked good. Well, I'm always pretty.

University of Gillford. Is it still a school ?. It was like I am on the royal campus. The looks of the students are totally outstanding. While I am just look like a lost cat. Kidding, I'm really pretty duh.

I just rolled my eyes at those students in here. There are lovers who are too clingy to each other as if they are not going to seperate soon.There's no forever, fools !. There are people taking pictures of-- mygosh! Speaking of phone,where's mine?

"What are you looking for, sis?" She asked to me.

"Did you see my phone? I can't find it huhu!" I looked at her for a moment then searched the bag again.

I was in the middle of searching when someone suddenly pinched me.

"Don't ruin me here- OUCH! " what the hell was that?

"Tss. Didn't even know how to make way. " I heard him say when he hit me.

"You bump me and then you're blaming me! Are you stupid or a blind?!" I said angrily. My mother told me, before she passed away, she said I should learn how to fight.

"I thought, it was just a wall" he said while looking at me.

"Hey! When did I become a wall?! Is there a wall that speaks? stupid" I shouted. But he just smirked at me.

"Flat." He said and his gaze landed on my chest. My beautiful eyes widened and raised an eyebrow at him.

"I'm not flat! Do you want me to immerse you here huh?! " I shouted at him again but he came closer and closer to me while staring. I fought to look at him.

"Are you sure? You'll immerse me there?" He looked at my chest again. My head immediately warmed up so I slapped him with a bag.

"Fvck! What's your freaking problem ?!" He asked annoyed and tried to take my bag so I wouldn't hit him.

"Pervert! " I was about to grab my bag from him but he suddenly lifted it, which is why I can't reach it because he is still taller than me.

"Give it to me!" I still shouted but he still did not want to give

"Just say sorry to me first" he said with a wink. I immediately frowned at what he did. Eww.

"Don't wink at me, you doesn't look good. Give me back my bag!!" I said bluntly.

"No! Just say sorry" he insisted.

"If you want my bag, buy yours! Don't take it! "I shouted.

I saw a woman approaching us and she looked at me badly.

"Gio Babyyy !!" I heard the shout of the woman who made her face like a coloring book.

"Hey bitch! Why are you shouting at my boyfriend ?!" He said angrily to me and then his hand rested on the arm of that man. I would have spoken if belle shouldn't appeared.

"And why are you also shouting at Via?" Belle said.

"This is your friend's fault! She was quarelling with my boyfriend " The woman shouted.

"Is that your boyfriend?" I ask, then resume what I'm saying..

"--you have no taste. Anyway, you are not pretty so it's okay" I added. He was about to slap me but Belle slapped her first. Go sis !!

"Uh- girl, sorry! Your blush on is not even so I fixed it. We will go now. Ciao!" We left them there while Ms. Clown got irritated too much. I think, she's mad hihi.

When we got farther away, my boisterous friend suddenly stumbled. She's giggling again.

"Sis !!! The boy who bump you was so very very hot as hell !!!" she said with a naughty smile on her face.

"I want to throw him in the ditch. He's a jerk! , he looks like a dirt stored in his stomach for a week" I replied. I did not let Belle to speak and went ahead to the register lane.
