Chapter 35

Olivia sat in her craft room sewing together a blouse. She sighed as she ran the cuff of the sleeve through her machine. Amelia cried from her swing and Olivia stopped sewing to grab her. She swayed from side to side and peered at her phone to see the time. It was late and by now Amelia should have been asleep.

"Are you hungry?" Olivia peered down at Amelia with a warm smile as she placed her finger in her tiny hand.

She began to walk to the kitchen to grab her a bottle, running into someone in the hallway. Olivia slowly peered up to see her smiling fiancé. He was shirtless and in dark grey pajama pants, running his hand through his messy hair.

"I heard her cry from my office." Noah gave her a crooked smile and Olivia noticed the bottle dangling from his hand, near his thigh. "Here, I'll take her. You need to sleep, baby."

"Thank you." Olivia passed Noah their daughter and he gently leaned down to kiss her.
