CHAPTER 64

"Do we really have to do this? I heard her father has a gun." Boyd said worriedly as they neared the Argents house while hiding in the dark.

Tristan on the other hand had a deep scowl on his face as he was forcefully relegated to perform the kidnapping session by Malia since there was no way the Argents would let Allison go to the dance when her aunt just died. Not to mention the rumor that was already floating around that Kate Argent had a hand in the Hale fire 6 six years ago.

With everything happening, the worst place for Allison to be right now was at a party and it so turns out that was where she wanted to go, so Malia had no choice but to strong-arm Tristan(which was very easy as he wouldn't let her go kidnap Allison from the Argents unsupervised so Malia just had him do it) to retrieve Allison.

Being the new adrenaline junkie he was turning out to be, he enlisted the help of Boyd and together they both snuck through the darkness and shadow of the night and made it to Allison's backyard.

"So how are we going to get to her, or even get her down for that matter?" Boyd asked in a hushed panicky whisper.

"That's the reason I'm here in the first place." Tristan said irately as he rolled up the sleeves of his shirt. "Find somewhere to hide in case I get found out."

With that warning, Boyd was left slack jawed as he saw Tristan display a level of parkour he didn't know the boy had in him.

With silent nimble footwork, Tristan ran up the side of the house for a few seconds before using it to boost himself off the wall and latching onto the tree with one arm which he used to flip himself over to land at the roof beside Allison's window with his toes.

Listening in to see if anybody else was in her room with her, Tristan made his way to the window and tapped twice on it for Allison to open up.

"Get in here fast before someone sees you." Allison urged him in with surprise and relief evident on her face.

She didn't know how to feel when Malia had suddenly called her and told her to get ready that Tristan was on his way to bust her out of the house after her dad had put her on house arrest.

Hell, the reason she wanted to go to the party despite everything that had happened lately was because she just wanted to unwind with the atmosphere. She was looking for an outlet that would help her safely process everything and bleed them out while also having fun, and that was what the winter formal presented to her.

Tristan stepped inside her room and made a mental note of how it was. "What?"

"Nothing. Just thinking that your room didn't change much." He said before turning to her and cocking a brow as he finally saw what she was wearing – a nightwear.

"I'll be changing at your house. I'm not wearing a dress while trying to escape through my window and then making a run for it in the middle of the night." She hurriedly explained after seeing the look he was giving her.

"Fair."

"So how are we going to get down without making a noise and without them suspecting foul play after we're gone?" Allison asked with her excitement bubbling up as the adrenaline started popping off in her brain.

"How often do they check up on you at night?" He asked to which she replied. "50/50. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't."

Under Tristan's watch, Allison stuffed some of her clothes under her blanket to make it look like someone was sleeping underneath. "We are betting on luck that they don't figure it out unless we'll be busted."

Since there was nothing he could do on that front and since his job was just to 'rescue' Allison, he made no other comment and walked towards the window whole Allison grabbed the bag where she kept her clothes for the night. "So how am I going to get down without tripping any weird traps my dad would have set?"

"Traps?" Tristan looked at her in confusion while Allison just rolled her eyes.

"Well he went full on Rambo mode after the 'animal' attack that happened close to our house and also Kate's death." She explained while also trying to gauge his reaction but apart from the initial surprise, he did not show much in respect to the mention of traps.

Meanwhile Tristan was actually stunned that he didn't even notice anything that resembled a trap when coming up. 'These Hunters sure are creepy. Hearing this, I can't seriously find it in myself to blame werewolves for falling into their traps every now and then.'

He turned to Allison and was about to say something but she immediately cut him off. "Please don't ask me if I trust you or I should close my eyes."

"Uhm sure. I only wanted to ask you not to scream or if you are scared of heights."

"Oh. No. I'm not afraid of heights-" The moment she said those words, Tristan picked her up in his arms as easily as one would a bag of cereals and jumped from her window to the branch of the tree near in and from there did a flip that took him over her yard and landed softly at the side of the road.

"…!"

"Come on, let's go!" He dragged her away before she could come down from the literal jump he gave and ran towards where Boyd was hiding.

"You are one crazy motherfucker, you know that right?" Boyd said, still in awe of Tristan subliminal movements that got him in and out of the house better than a pro gymnast could ever accomplish. "How the hell can you even do that?"

"I have a lot of free time and I spent a lot of my playtime in the woods when I was younger." He didn't say anything else as he dragged Allison, who had finally managed to snap out of her reverie, with him to a few blocks away where they packed their getaway car.

"My dad is so going to kill me if he finds out about this." Though the content of those words weren't in any way positive, the elated smile on her face told of how much, or less, she cared about that at the moment.

Already used to the antics of the bipolar girl, Tristan said nothing and just kick-start the car into ignition and drove off to his house.

Tonight, despite the weird things that have been happening lately in Beacon Hills, Beacon Hills High School was very lively as teenagers came in droves with their colorful and fashionable dresses and suits.

Some went all out by renting expensive suits for the night while others went for flashy rides, everything they could do to make his night a memorable one.

"I will be the voice of reason and say what we are about to do tonight is not worth it."

In a Toyota Prius neatly parked away in an obscure part of the parking lot, Boyd looked at Tristan and the two girls sitting at the back and let out his honeys thoughts.

Malia scoffed while Allison shrugged, seemingly accepting any consequences this night could dole out while Tristan appeared to have completely surrendered.

Tristan and Boyd were both wearing a black and grey 3-piece suit with bow ties. A go-to men outfit for any formal or semi-formal outing and with their ripped muscles and ripping physiques, they fitted nicely into the outfits while clung snugly around their body; a perfect pair of eye candy for the young ladies.

Allison wore a pink, almost iridescent white, strapless top mini dress with gathered hem from the waist down and back tights with her hair tied to a braid and kept behind. She held the complimentary black jacket in her hands as she stepped out of the car and despite them being in a remote place, there were still a few people who saw them as they alighted the car.

Malia wore a off-shoulder purple satin dress with various embroideries on it which had a long slit from her upper thighs to the ground. She matched it up with dark blue jean trousers and ankle length short heels while leaving her jacket with Tristan.

Allison had been the one to rearrange her outfit for the night as the unruly girl was thinking of going with jean shorts and a crop top much to the former's horror. Though Malia was fashionable in her own right, more so than Allison, she wasn't one for dresses all that much.

Thankfully Allison could convince her to change her mind.

"Well, we can't just stand here and look at each other. Let's go inside, we came for a party, didn't we?" Tristan said as he started walking towards the entrance which promoted the other three to follow him.

"Hope they bring good drinks. I want to get high." Malia said to which Allison nodded, a sentiment shared by Boyd and Tristan both.

For some reason or the other, they all needed some thorough rewinding.
