That evening, Zoey took charge and organized a delightful family dinner for all of us to savor together. Unexpectedly, Zoey and I found ourselves on an impromptu family outing. It was a delightful surprise, combining the closeness of a romantic evening with the coziness of a family get-together.

As soon as my mom laid eyes on me, she welcomed me with open arms. Zoey, on the other hand, gave me a smile that hinted at potential disapproval from her parents, particularly her father.
