"What? I'll finalize my plan for that date so I can go with you."

I let out some air. "Yes, I will do whatever it takes to remember what happened that night."

Kaycee smiled at me. "Let's go; let's go back to school," she said.

"Oh, Kaycee, can we go to the crime scene?"

Kaycee frowned.

When Kaycee and I returned to the university, we went straight to the parking lot. I immediately walked towards my car while Kaycee was waiting outside the university.

"Why are you in such a hurry, man?" Migs asked. "Where are you going?"

I didn't notice that my friends saw me. I immediately walked away.

"Oh, I'm just doing errands," I said without looking back. "We can catch up on the chat later."

I quickly drove the car and left my friends watching my departure.
