12 Ch : 31 A Laughing Stock

At 8:00am in the morning...

There were not many students in front of the school because almost all of them had already veen inside. Alisia was coming late on purpose the last week ,so thay she could avoid facing her former best friend.

" What a mess ! It looks like somebody's thrown all these pamphlets through a window ! Let me read it , what is it ??

"Halloween Party Celebration! Costumes Mandatory!

Only for the chosen ones ! " Ha ! What a trash !

I'll share this on my profile and say that only my younger sister will fall for this .

This is someone's brave move.

It's clear he or she will be punished for making a mess , but why would someone do that intentionally ?!"

In the class....

Alisia has a new favorite place for sitting in the first row!

It's the best one for avoiding unwanted looks. They can look at her back now.

Mr . Peterson ---

"Good morning..

I would like you all to know that, unless I don't find the one who's guilty for the mess in the school yard, you ALL will be cleaning it."

Alisia thinking ' When I'll get hold of that jerk...."

"So , who's thrown all those pamphlets ?" said Mr. Peterson.

'No one will stand until Michael is guilty, who would sentence himself to an eternal hate ....'

Steven - Mr. Peterson...

Peterson - Yes, Steven do you have any questions regarding the last test?

Steven - No , Mr. Peterson . I wanted to say something about this pamphlet situation .

Mr. Peterson - I'm guessing you know who did that .

Steven - I don't know who did it , but everyone knows where the party's gonna be .

'What ?! Steven knows something that has nothing to do with school ?' thought Alisia.

Mr. Peterson - Tell us what you know.

Steven - This Halloween Party is supposed to be at Anna's place .

Anna - You , rat!

Mr. Peterson - Anna , watch your language ! I would find out sooner or later. You'll have to clean the entire school yard by yourself.

Now.... let's get back to maths.

'Wow , Steven haa the guts ! Anna will totally freak out. I have to turn back and see Steven's face now.

Steven is more determined and self - confident then ever . I like him now .' thought Alisia.

Steven saw Alisia turning back and expected to see her face full of hate.

However, she smiled at him. He was over the moon , but then Alisia turned towards Michael.

' Michael's sleeping again. Of course ...

How can he be so irresponsible and sweet at the same time .

Ugh, Alisia stop thinking about that!' again thought Alisia.

Mr. Peterson - This is a lesson for everyone who dares to break the rules. Sit down , Anna . I hope you've learned your lesson.

' She earned a worse punishment.' thought Alisia.

The class was unusually silent. No one wanted to make Mr. Peterson angry and be in Anna's place.

12 PM afternoon..

At recess , Anna was collecting trash irritatingly and looking angrily at everyone who laughed at her.

She looked like a pouting child - not a beautiful picture at all. But if you ask Alisia about her , the answer would be completely different.

" We'll see who will laugh at last . Maybe , you Alisia! " said Anna with full grudge while picking up the trash .

Alisia - What did I do to you ?!

Anna - you're laughing ! Are you having fun watching me cleaning?

Alisia - No , I somehow feel bad for you. But you've deserved your punishment. And one more thing... you've missed a spot.

Anna - you're gonna miss my party!

You're not getting an invitation !

Alisia - I wasn't planning to go to a kids party anyway.

Michael - Hey , girls! You're being silly!

Anna - Michael , now you have the chance to see what Alisia is really like.

Alisia - You didn't come here to defend her , did you ?

Michael - Can we put all this to an end and try to be friends ?

Alisia - Of course we can , Anna can say she's sorry first .

Anna - You're not getting that !

Michael - Alisia , I'll say sorry for both of us.

Alisia - you're not convincing .

Mr . Peterson - Anna I came here to see if you've cleaned everything.

' How funny is that ?! ' thought Alisia.

Mr. Peterson - And two of you ? What are you doing here ?

Alisia - We wanted to help Anna , but we can see she's doing great on her own.

Michael - Yeah ! we're just keeping her company .

Mr. Peterson - Anna , you've missed a spot.

' Haa ! I can't keep myself from laughing !' again Alisia inwardly talking.

Anna was humiliated and mad , but she did her job. She had just a few minutes till the end of recess to give out the invitations.
