“Leave us so we can talk,” she said like there was nothing remotely wrong with what she was telling me.

If it was any other woman that had done this to me, I would have walked away and not looked back.

Not wanting to be a hypocrite, I tried not to judge her. It was hard not to. I couldn’t help but go over my mind how she could give her body to me with such abandon and turn around and give another man-

It hurt like hell.

Drove me to the brink of lunacy. Robbed me of the ability to breathe.

The thought of another man’s hands roaming over her satin skin, coaxing her pants of pleasure out of her lips. Another man hovering over her…sliding into her…possessing her…watching her come undone…

What I felt when I caught my wife in bed with my best friend was nothing compared to the pain that was searing through me right now. It wasn’t even a fraction of the agony my heart was in.
