l was in the pack house because of the next Alpha's 20th birthday. Usually l don't go out of the house after mom's death. Dad said that she died in an accident, her car crashed into a truck. l was also there, although l don't remember anything. My memories of that accident and before are blank.Brother also won't tell me no matter how much l ask. Well that aside, after the Alpha's speech l found an empty room to stay till the party is over. Although I am a beta,people usually think of me as an omega cuz l am very beautiful and l have a scent. l can't smell it but dad and brother says that it's sweet and sour at the same time, like grapes.

l was roaming around in the big room, when the door opens revealing the next head Alpha holding hands with a girl. They both are staring at me in a daze. This happens to dad and brother too. They sometimes stare at me like they are looking at something out of the world. l don't like it but these two people in front of me, they are not even blinking. l was about to say something when the next Alpha turned his head to the girl and then to me. Finally he asked"What's your name? ", and man his voice is so deep. l am attracted to him but why? But first" My name is Ezekiel Williams. l came here with my brother. " l bow a little to show respect as dad said. "Williams? Are you Drake's brother? " he asked me. I am surprised, he knows my brother. "umm, how do you know my brother? " l voiced my doubt to which the reply came "He is my friend".Oooo that explains it. "So, omega e-", " WAIT! l am a beta".

Oh shoot! l am not allowed to say that to anyone except my mate. Why did l say that to him? You idiot Eze can't you keep your mouth shut! l peaked at him and looking at him now, seems like he is shocked. " the lady asks. l don't know who she is but l still answer her cuz it's good manners. "That, l can't tell you. Dad said to me to tell only to my accepted mate. Also l can't make you my Luna. And lastly, l love rose" saying this he extend his hand to the lady which she happily grabs. He must really love her and he is right I can't give him a heir. But why me?! The first l step out of my house only to be rejected. This is so unfair. People normally have one mate and l got rejected at my first meeting with my mate. No Eze don't think like that! Stay strong! After gathering my thoughts, l looked him in the eye and said"Alright, l will accept! ". Hearing this he walks to me and said the rejection vow" I, Jayden Smith, reject Ezekiel Williams as my mate! "" I, Ezekiel Williams accept the rejection of Jayden Smith! "

Just as l said those vows, a sudden pain erupted in my chest. l frowned "It hurts"l muttered. It's really painful. l clenched my chest, l can't breathe properly. l lowered my head and tears falling non-stop.Just then l heard brother's voice, he sounds worried. l looked up to only to find him staring at me, his face screams how worried he is. " Eze, Eze talk to me! Are you alright?! "he is anxious.

Oh God!! the pain is increasing! " Br...Brother it hurts " my voice is so small, l don't know if he heard it. l wanna leave this place, "Br.. other let's go.. home".My eyes are getting heavy, l can't breathe, it feels like l am suffocating, this buzzing sound. What is that? " Brother ",it fells like l am to collapse,my legs don't have any more strength." Eze! Eze!!"that's the only thing l was able to hear before the darkness surrounded me.
