THE EVER-LASTING BOUDARY

A thousand years later

The reign of King Caesar

King Caesar was a great king and ruled the eastern boarders. He married one the fairest ladies in the whole Kingdom, her name was Revila. After three years of childlessness, she gave birth to her first child, she called her Polami. King Caesar needed a male child so he got married to another woman. She gave birth to twins; a boy and a girl. They were called Pronel, and Andriel. After three years, King Caesar's second wife gave birth to another set of twins; 2 girls that she called Sonya and Hanta. Soon Revila gave birth to another female child which she called Carmella. Soon, Revila passed on by a strange disease. She was laid to rest two days after. Polami and Carmella were left without a mother. Polami was 19yrs old and her initiation ceremony was around the corner. Polami liked adventures but she was not allowed to cross the 'EVER-LASTING BOUDARY'.

She had a maid Sayee, who always communicated to her like a mother she once had. Sayee was braiding Polami's hair for the Royal introduction. 'My princess, how excited are you for the Ceremony?' Sayee asked.

Princess Polami was sad and replied, "I do not care." Sayee stopped braiding her hair and turned to look at her. "Why are you sad?" she asked. "You never let me finish braiding your hair," Polami said. "I know," Sayee said. "But I would like to know what is troubling you." "I do not wish to discuss it," Polami said. "I just do not want to braid my hair." "Very well," Sayee said. "But I am still going to braid your hair." "Please tell me what is wrong," Sayee requested. Polami was reluctant to answer, but she finally said, "It is my father. He has cheated me and my sister out of our inheritance." Sayee asked, "I am curious about how your father was able to deny you and your sister your inheritance." Polami was reluctant to answer, but she eventually replied, "He shows preferential treatment to his other children. When Sayee told Polami that her other siblings were still on earth, Polami told her not to worry, that she would see them again in heaven. Sayee was confused by this, and asked Polami to explain. "He promises them heaven, but they are still on earth," Polami said. "I don't understand what he means."

"He treats them that way because they are young," Sayee stated. Polami shook her head. "No, he treats them that way because they have a brother," she replied. "I do not think their age has anything to do with it. I think he treats them that way because they have a brother." Your Highness, are you trying to say that the King, your father, loves his other children because they are his successors? If so, then you are saying that he does not love you because you are not his successor. Do you believe that the King loves you less than his other children because you are not his successor? Yes, I did say that, and my position has not changed," Polami replied, her voice a mixture of exasperation and boredom. Sayee could scarcely believe his ears. Polami was startled to hear the sound of her sisters' laughter approaching her room. She quickly commanded Sayee to cease braiding her hair so that they would not see her in such disarray. Polami was mortified; she did not want her sisters to see her half-dressed with her hair in disarray. She attempted to hide behind the door, but it was too late. The door opened, and there they were, laughing at her.

Sonya was attempting to mock Polami by saying, "You could not even use an expensive hair cream. You are so poor you cannot afford it." Polami did not take the bait. She knew that Sonya was simply trying to provoke her. Polami smiled and said, "You are correct. I am poor. But I am not so impoverished that I cannot afford to use expensive hair cream. I simply do not want to waste my money on something that does not work." "My princess, you are not impoverished," Sayee proclaimed immediately upon seeing the young woman before her. "As a princess, you are never poor." He smiled at her and continued, "But if you were, I would be honored to serve you." Princess Polami was incensed. How could they deny her access to her favorite hair cream? "What kind of princess is denied her rights?" she demanded. Immediately following Polami's statement, Sonya and her twin sister Hanta began to laugh at her. Polami was incensed. How could they deny her access to her favorite hair cream? "What manner of princess is denied her rights?" she demanded. "I am the princess, and I will not be denied!"

"Polami, our dear elder princess," Hanta said, "there is one thing you should always know. It is this: there will always be a great boundary between us. That boundary is the difference in our ages. You are my elder, and I respect you for that. But there will always be a boundary between us, and that is the difference in our ages. Sonya stated that there is a significant age difference between them. She is the second-eldest princess, and he is the youngest. However, that is not the only difference between them. They are both princesses, but they are of different ranks. Hanta replied that he understands. The difference in their ages and their ranks creates a boundary between them. The twins, Sonya and Hanta, exchanged a glance, then looked at Polami. Their faces broke into a wide grin as they said, "We are going to have a lot of fun with you." Then, with a toss of their heads, they sent their long hair cascading over Polami's face. Polami was visibly annoyed by the twins' behavior. But Polami was powerless to stop them. They had made up their minds, and there was nothing she could do to change their minds. She sat on the tiled floor and burst into tears.
